In Filipino culture, calamansi is considered lucky. People plant it to attract abundance, place coins and grains at the base for prosperity, and use its juice in cleansing rituals. My mom was over the moon when I bought her one. The staff at SummerWinds were super helpful and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about their plants and their customers. The nursery itself is beautiful--peaceful, well-organized, and full of unique finds. Prices were reasonable. You can also get rewards here if you return again. Great value! He helped us pick out an amazing Ficus tree and also gave me additional advice on pruning my other trees and roses while we were there. The guys who came to remove the stump from our old tree in our backyard were great and Brandon Vasquez Jimenez went above and beyond explaining every step he and his crew went through when planting our Ficus. He took time to answer all of my questions and explained after care slowly so I could write down the details. Additionally, Andy gave me his cell phone so I could ask any additional questions anytime.
