I went on a weekday morning around ten and I could not find a table. After waiting about 5 min, someone got up and I was able to snag their table luckily. I loved the vibes inside, super minimalist, modern, and clean! As for the food, I honestly could not decide what to get because it all sounded so good. We ended up getting a few things to share. My friends and I often meet for brunch and would go to new places each time. I found this place on Yelp with 4.5 stars so we tried it. First of all, the place is neat and tidy but it was hot inside. Secondly, service was good. Thirdly the food, we ordered lots to share. The spinach feta omelette was bland and the salad that comes with was flavorless , it was just oil as dressing. The burrito was bland too. The French toast was pretty disappointing and the ricotta lemon pancake was not impressive. Only the rose and lavender lattes and the bacon were good. This was one of my favorite brunch spots when visiting OC! We tried the lemon ricotta pancakes and the essentials breakfast. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon added a nice zest. The bacon was crispy and the side salad was refreshing. For drinks we had the lavender latte and lavender lemonade. I loved the lavender latte-- great flavor. Had a brunch at Everyday Eatery on a weekend. Parking here was doable but still took a few minutes to find one. Once you arrive you order and they will give you a number. Take that number with you and then sit inside or outside and they'll (hopefully) find you. We were lucky and got a small table inside, one of (I wanna say) 8 tables that were inside. I had ordered their pumpkin matcha latte and went for their Chicken * Avo Salad (chipotle chicken, avocado, feta, radish, tortilla chips, mixed lettuce greens, cilantro lime jalapeño dressing) I also shared a breakfast burrito which hadscrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, green onions, Monterey jack cheese, chipotle aioli, applewood smoked bacon/turkey sausage/chipotle chicken, side of house made roasted salsa. The food came out in about 20 minutes. Their pumpkin matcha latte wasn't all too sweet and the pumpkin actually overshadowed the matcha flavors. For their salad, it was hefty, pretty big, and they put the sauce proactively on the side which was nice. The chicken was ok, the avocado was plentiful, and the greens were plentiful as well! Decided to finally try this place out after hearing good reviews from my housemates for my co-worker's birthday brunch. We decided to just order take out. It was easy to order online and the food was ready super quick. When I came to the store, it looked super busy, but my order was all set and ready to go. I liked how they had mini fridge next to my order to keep my co-worker's pumpkin iced latte cold instead of just letting it sit there. Finally got around to trying the spot that seems to always have a line out the door (or is at least packed inside) I had the pleasure of taking my sister here for a nice afternoon lunch date, overall I was satisfied with my experience. I have an obsession with pesto aiolis and their house-made one is divine. Aside from that, it was packed with super fresh ingredients, every bite was amazing. The sandwich itself was huge and I could only finish half in the restaurant but I was so happy to take the other half home. The salad was not good. Bland, subpar, hated it. Doesn't matter though, the sandwich was perfect 10/10 The Hibiscus Rose Tea was not good. Tasted very syrupy, not a fan, would not get again. 3/10 My sister enjoyed the French Toast Forever, also a huge serving size and presented very well. She did say that the toast itself was a bit dry and had to put on a bit more syrup that she usually does but overall, good experience. The highlight of the meal seemed to be the sausage links & eggs. 7.8/10 (unsure about the latte rating) Parking can be a pain in the butt if you go at the wrong time but I'd say it's worth it to circle a few times (only a few) & seating will likely not be a problem, there's a good amount of seating inside and a plethora outside (great when it's a nice day) I'm sure I'll be back for that sandwich alone (and hopefully to try a different tea)! read more

My only problem with this place is that there were photos on yelp of some food options that were no longer on the menu which I was really bummed about. One of my favorite brunch spots in Irvine/OC! Both the food and drinks at Everyday Eatery are tasty, and I really like that this is a more casual brunch place. FOOD: Everyday Eatery's menu has so many fun options, including vegan and gluten-free options! There are both breakfast and lunch options along with pastries. Some of the items I've tried are: - Turkey Pesto Sandwich w/ Brekkie Potatoes (5/5): Yes, you can easily make a good turkey pesto sandwich at home, but that doesn't mean going out and getting one for brunch isn't just as good. Their turkey pesto sandwich is my go-to order. Their pesto is more of a cream-based pesto but I really like it. The sandwich itself is pretty big and filling, so I don't always finish it. Really delicious and solid sandwich. I always get brekkie potatoes with my sandwich which I really like and think are seasoned well. BUT, the sauce that comes with the potatoes is LIFE-CHANGING!! I know that sounds dramatic but oh my gosh I don't think I've ever tasted a better sauce in my life. It seems to be a mayo-based sauce with a little spice but not exactly sure. I always ask for an extra and put some on my sandwich as well. - Cali Chicken Sandwich w/ Brekkie Potatoes (4/5): The cali chicken sandwich is a very solid sandwich and good but I felt like the chicken could've used a little more seasoning. Still a good option tho! - Breakfast Burrito (4/5): Breakfast burrito is good but not a life-changing breakfast burrito if that's what you're coming here for. It's filling and satisfying. The salsa that it comes with is also good. DRINKS: Everyday Eatery uses Stumptown Coffee beans. I always get an iced vanilla latte which is delicious and smooth. Also tried their Rosey Palmer ( I think this is a spring special) which is rose syrup with lemonade and hibiscus tea which was really refreshing. SERVICE & INTERIOR/ATMOSPHERE: All the employees I've interacted with here are really nice and helpful. As I mentioned, this is a casual brunch place where you order at the counter, sit down with your number, and have your food brought out to you. If they're busy (like on the weekend), be ready to wait 20-30 minutes for your food. Just make sure to ask how long the wait for the food is if you're not willing to wait. The line gets pretty long on the weekends. The inside is really cute and has a few tables. You'll most likely have to sit outside which is not a big deal since there's a lot of tables. Get that fresh air! PARKING: Parking can be a little tricky if you come on a weekend or during lunchtime. Food came out quicker than the expected time! Lots of options for different types of diets (gluten free or vegetarian). It was my friend's first time and he was surprised with their big portions! The hot cakes were yummy and came with a nice honeycomb butter. It is, however, a little sweeter than I would have preferred. The morning market scramble is my go-to when coming here. It comes with potatoes, side of salad (or toast if you want to change it), and an omelet with an avocado on top.
