Love the set up. You dont have to wait until somebody comes takes your order... you make line order, take a # and they take it to you. Kinda like a fast food restaurant vibe. Food was delicious, and the staff was all friendly and professional.

I am always team everyday eatery. Love that they serve breakfast all day. Their coffee is also delicious. Their seating can be very busy for the weekend crowd and the during the week crowd with offices nearby. They do have a lot of seating to choose from which helps. Seating is mostly outside but they do have a couple inside tables. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious!

The potatoes were very tasty. And spinach and Bacon and Fried Egg Sandwich was delicious

I loved this place! Very great pricing and great options of food and loved the coffee!

    Morning Market Scramble

This is my first time at Everyday Eatery in Irvine. It is located in a strip mall next to other small eateries. There is lots of parking out front. The interior space is rudimentary with 5 small tables and 1 shared high table and stools in the middle. There is a Large common Outdoor area with lots of tables under Large umbrellas. As you walk in, right in front of you , you will find a basket with menus in it. Grab a menu so you could decide on what to order while waiting in line. I think this is a great idea and it saves time. Also, the menu is written with large prints which is always a plus. I did not have to use my reading glasses. You order first, grab your number and find a table. The menu is really simple, but on point. (See full menu in photos) I ordered the morning market scramble. It is scrambled eggs with veggies. Side of breakfast potatoes extra crispy. And salad. It was really good. The portion was generous. I also got a cardamom rose latte iced with oat milk, and one pump of syrup instead of three. It is one of their specialty drinks. It wasn't anything special. It was just as good as anywhere else. The prices are average.the service is really friendly and the food is good. I recommend trying everyday eatery for a quick and satisfying bite any day of the week.

    Essentials breakfast (gf) option

We checked out the menu for gf options and reviews before going here for breakfast. They were accurate. The coffee and food was delicious. I wanted to try the Spanish latte but t was "oh so" delicious. I ordered the Essentials since it had the gf option. It came with a salad. It seems more places are serving a side salad with breakfast now or maybe it's because mine was a gf meal. I'm so happy they did t have an extra charge because my meal was gf. Luckily we got there at the right time because the line got longer after we ordered. You place your order then they bring the food out to you. The staff members are cheerful and helpful. Must be a fun place to work. There is eating inside and out.

I have been wanting to try this place for the longest time and finally came here to celebrate the belated Mother's Day for my girls "day" out. The place is located in a food court strip mall that is surrounded by businesses. As a result, this strip mall gets very busy around lunch time. The place has healthy options. I ordered the Turkey Pesto Sandwich with a side of salad since it was a brunch gathering. The portion was perfect and filling too. Taste was spot on. After I finished my lunch, I didn't feel super stuffed at all. Seeing they have breakfast options, a few days later I brought my daughter over for early breakfast. We ordered the French Toast Forever and Espresso Mascarpone Waffle. They were delicious and beautifully presented. My daughter and I came around 7:30 am on a Sunday morning. There was no crowd at all. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My daughter approved of the place and we'll be coming back again.

This breakfast place is so cute and they have some really creative menu items. They are open until 3 pm so I'm getting an iced matcha non fat latte. It's quick and easy and I stopped in to check it out. They also have a lot of gluten-free breakfast items which are relatively healthy

I came here for the first time over the weekend and loved the food here. The essentials: the standard, typical American breakfast with eggs, breakfast potatoes, choice between bacon/sausage, and toast or salad. The breakfast potatoes were good and flavorful. We picked sausage, but unfortunately they offer turkey sausage here instead of pork (so it's a little dry and bland). It's what you can expect from an American breakfast and a solid breakfast option Lemon ricotta hotcakes: The portion size is HUGE! I definitely recommend sharing with another person unless you have a large pancake appetite, haha. The honeycomb butter is sooooo delicious. I didn't even feel like I needed syrup for the pancakes after spreading the butter :) Nice lemon flavor, but I definitely wished it was a little more prominent Even though the line looks long, it does move quickly and I like that they had an employee managing the line inside and outside :) There's only a limited amount of seating inside, but plenty of tables outdoors. Considering how crowded it was, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Plenty of parking in the lot. I would definitely come back!

I got a chance to visit Everyday Eatery today and had an average experience. Food: I ordered the scrambled egg sandwich with breakfast potatoes. The sandwich was delicious and so was the breakfast potatoes. I also got to try the hot coffee which was also good. Service: The service here was average at best. You pay tip for them to bring you the food and you order at the counter. Ambiance: The decor inside is nice but the seating is not very comfortable.

We had a chance to try out this restaurant for breakfast this week. It is located along Irvine Center Drive, near Sand Canyon. We went in, sat down and waited. No one came to us? Strange? I went to the counter and was told you must stand in line and order your food. I grabbed a menu, read it, made a selection, and was given the option of 18 to 25 percent tip. What for? I did everything. Oh, they brought the food to me. Here we go again? A DYS restaurant. This seems to be happening everywhere. Restaurant owners are designing their service as DYS. Have we lost the value of human contact? Have we all given up on the value of humanity? Twenty years ago, everywhere you went, we talked to each other; now, it's tablet, cell phone, texting, tap your card, DYS eating. I asked for a coffee. They gave me a small paper cup. The coffee is really good, but not in a mug? No refills? The food came. It was okay. We sat shoulder to shoulder with other customers on a steel wire chair. It was not very comfortable at all. It would have been nice to talk to someone who worked there, but again, they just do their job and don't have time for chit chat. No reason, they are not earning tips. I rather go to Dennys up the street. They at least serve you and talk to you. The whole experience was Okay.

Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes and The Essentials

Being in the area once a week, we decided we would try a new place each time. Today, we stumbled upon EVERYDAY EATERY. Located in a big shopping plaza, with lots of parking available, we grabbed breakfast. There are a few tables inside, which were all mostly taken, which is a good sign for a Tuesday morning. But there are plenty of tables outside as well. We got The Essentials which consists of eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon or turkey sausage, and toast or salad. Had to try the lemon ricotta hotcakes which were my favorite. So fluffy and absolutely delicious. I also tried their cardamom rose latte which was really good, too! Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast here. Staff is friendly, place is clean, and food is great!

    Raven R.

This is a nice place for breakfast! It gets crowded on weekends so prepare for a long line but it goes by quickly. You seat yourselves and while there is limited space inside, there is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff is really nice and the owner kept checking in on us which was sweet. We got organic chai to drink. For food items, we got lemon ricotta hotcakes, breakfast burritto with bacon, and a side of house made potatoes. Organic Chai- Served hot with just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness. A comforting drink for cold weather. House Potatoes- Served hot, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. The chipotle aioli is smoky with a little kick of heat. Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes- The hotcakes were soft and fluffy. They give sliced bananas and berries for a fruity accent. The honeycomb butter was the best part! It added sweetness and a crunchy texture that elevated the dish. Breakfast Burritto- You can pick a protein and we went with bacon which was crisp and meaty. The burritto was loaded with eggs, potatoes, green onion and cheese. Chipotle aioli and roasted salsa tie the flavors together. Very filling! Great experience overall!

Ask the Community - Everyday Eatery

Hello, what brands do you use for chai and matcha? Thank you.

HI there! We use Mizuba Matcha and Inteligencia Chai.

    Are dogs allowed?

Only service dogs are allowed inside but there is patio seating where they can be

Besides the sweet foods and breakfast sandwiches (can't have eggs), are there options that onion/garlic/scallions/chives/etc can be removed? I know there are sauces and seasonings but I'm unsure if they contain alliums (those foods listed above)?

I highly recommend our Vegan Scramble with Brown Rice (instead of the quinoa; containing onions). This is one of my favorite dishes on the menu, and meets your dietary requirements!

Can you please have a separate line for patrons who only want to order to-go drinks? It doesn't make sense to stand in super long lines just for a latte ☹️

Absolutely! If you're ever after beverages only, you are welcome to come to the to-go table and we can jump the line for drinks!

On the weekends, when will phone and online ordering be back?

Our focus is to provide the best possible in-store dining experience, and in peak times we've found it necessary to stop the flood of orders we receive online, and sometimes by phone, to prevent long wait times. We recommend placing your order early…

Is there outdoor seating right now?

Yes there is shared outdoor space. Shared space is for all restaurant patrons in the plaza.

    Do they have WiFi?

Hi there. Sand Canyon Plaza has guest wifi services for the whole plaza, and there are conventional plugs and phone charging points at a number of locations outside. Hope this helps.

    Does this place take reservations?

We are counter-service, and you don't need reservations to come eat here. We have plenty of outdoor seating and there is no problem finding a table.

    Is it laptop friendly?

Is it laptop friendly 😂 😂 go to Barnes & Noble or Starbucks

Do you guys have lavender syrup for coffee?

Your timing is perfect! We make all of our syrups in house, and we are adding lavender to the menu tomorrow!

What vegan breakfast options do you have?

We have vegan options for our Avo Toast and Maple Olive Oil Granola, and our Macro Bowl is vegan too. Currently, we have a vegan carrot cake as well. In the coming weeks, we are launching a vegan scramble bowl with tofu and veges, and a vegan…

Do they have any high chairs for kids?

    No high chairs sorry.

Are you a nut free restaurant?

No, sorry, we are not nut-free.

Can I order breakfast at lunch time?

Yes, last time I went at lunch time I was able to order breakfast.

Is there outdoor seating so that we can our dog?

    Yes, plenty outside.

Can they make whole grain pancakes?

Right now we have a house-made hotcake batter using ricotta and other ingredients. It is not a whole-grain recipe, and we don't have a gluten free option for this dish.

    Do you serve organic coffee?

We serve Stumptown 'Hairbender' blend espresso, and House blend for our brewed coffee. The emphasis is on having the highest quality and consistency, and on ethical farming and trading practices. Although Stumptown does offer some organic varieties,…

Is the ricotta pancakes gluten free?

No, sorry. Our Green Brekkie Bowl, omelette, essentials plate and huevos rancheros are all gluten free though.

Do they have organic milk for espresso drinks? Thanks!

Yes they have many expresso drinks

    Do they do takeout?

Yes I call and order before going to work

The beans were perfectly roasted, delivering a wonderful depth and richness to both drinks. Each cup was smooth, flavorful and thoroughlly enjoyable. We also tried the gluten free pecan cake. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet which allowed the flavorrs to come through naturally. The cake itself was slightly plain, but the generous pecan/toffee topping added the richness and texture it needed and made each bite much more satisfying. There are 3 indoor tables, 3 outdoor tables, and a long counter where customers can stand. I ordered one of their special signature drinks, an iced mint cold brew. A look into their pastry case led me to also request a raspberry danish. The single person behind the counter who was taking orders and working as barista was not exactly charming but it was understandable as she was slammed with multiple customers right when I arrived. My order was presented within a couple minutes (she was great at multitasking!) and I sat out on the patio. The iced mint cold brew was refreshing and was like drinking a box of Campfire Girl mints, both chocolatey and minty (sidebar: I am so sad that, as of last year, those mints are no longer made). It essentially was a mocha made with coconut milk and mint syrup; I really liked it. The pastry was rather dry but the raspberry filling was vibrant in flavor and not overly sweet. The vibe is more of a place for hotel guests to have a business meeting or to grab something prior to dashing off to a corporate event rather than just a place to hang out. But it's also a great option if you are near the Irvine Spectrum and just want to stop to quickly get a coffee drink and sit for a short break.

But because I've gotten some fantastic lattes here, I'm willing to treat myself to Roosevelt Coffee once in a while. Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte with pumpkin foam: 5/5, such an enjoyable and desserty drink. Pumpkin flavor and autumnal spices are balanced well with the creaminess and coffee strength. The foam wasn't needed at all, as the drink itself was plenty sweet and flavorful, but it was a fun addition. Iced Strawberry Latte: 5/5. I believe they used oat milk since it's the base for their Strawberry Matcha Latte. I definitely tasted the strawberry, but it wasn't overwhelming to the point of making the drink taste like a milk with fruit puree. Iced Strawberry Rose Latte (seasonal, spring): 3/5. More on the bland side for me, as I didn't really taste either strawberry or rose. This also wasn't as sweet as the other seasonal drinks I've ordered. I got espresso in mine, but my friend's same latte as decaf had a subtle strawberry flavor in it, which was interesting considering it didn't taste similar to mine. Iced Lavender Latte: 2/5. This was also disappointingly bland and overly milky. To my palate, it tasted like it was only slightly sweetened, and without any lavender flavor or floral essence. I wonder if a stronger-flavored syrup would make it a better latte.

What a hidden gem! My friend told me about this cute coffee shop in Ladera Ranch, and I had to…read morecheck it out! It's in a really cute shopping center and there's plenty of parking, and they're seating outside and inside. You'll want to sit inside because there's so many cute details.! The service is super friendly and helpful. I love that they have gluten-free options. So on their regular menu anything that has a bread components like a bagel they can replace with a gluten-free bread. They also had a few gluten-free pastry items. They had a mixed berry muffin, and a zucchini banana bread. That made me so happy. So I tried their fall menu because I know it's just seasonal and fall is one of my favorite seasons and flavors. So I got the pumpkin spiced cream cheese toast that's taught with apple filling and nutmeg. It was so delicious and I wanted more! It's pretty filling you could definitely share it with somebody but I ate the whole thing! And then I just got an Earl Grey drink since I know that my food was gonna be super sweet. The place was super clean, they also sell some really cute and cool merchandise. Just a fabulous little coffee shop and I can't wait to come back!

I have to drive quite a bit every time because I live in La Habra, but the food and matcha is worth it. I also love their cardamom buns. As far as I know, they don't bake those in house but glad they have them available. I feel like drinking their matcha is such a treat because it's just the perfect taste. And their salmon smorgasbord is my favorite breakfast. Those jammy eggs are to die for.
