Walked in hoping to get a pedicure, nobody greeted or asked what service I wanted, literally nothing. After 8 minutes sitting by the front and still nobody acknowledged that a customer walked in, I asked one of the 4 women doing nails if they had time for a pedicure, and one of them said no. I'm not surprised they didn't have time I was just a walk in but to be ignored and then if I didn't ask, none of the women would've informed me they were too busy. I would probably still be sitting there waiting. Very poor customer service. read more

Always on point . Nice service clean place . Organized well manage as well. I alway leave with a smile on my face do amazing work

Sat here for an hour in tears begging these people to soak my previous set off. They were clearly in a rush, completely ignored me, tore my nails apart then sent me away with this gorgeous new set. I never leave reviews anymore, but this was by far the most traumatic experience I've ever had in a salon in my life. Do not come here. Updated to say that they love to be in the comments terrorizing the multiple people leaving bad reviews (even asked one woman to take hers down!) but don't have that same level of attention to detail when you're in their salon. Maybe spend less time focused on fighting with people on Yelp, and more time focused on customer service. Maybe then you won't keep having this problem. If all the negative reviews are saying the same thing, it's not us--it's you. read more

Birthday nails by Jayyyy I'm in love This salon is soooo beautiful on the inside. Each nail was specialized and detailed. The flowers were adjusted to my liking. It took a total of 4 hours to fully complete this set. I haven't tried the pedicure yet but I recommend this place it's super nice. I'm gonna start coming to this place from now on. Coffin shaped nails are elite. Sometimes they do take walk ins which is nice I appreciate that a lot. There's different nail techs to choose from to I would advise scheduling ahead. read more

Really good work. Just a little expensive but worth it. They just do pretty much any type of work and any designs !

Two weeks ago, I had an excellent job done here, so I returned for a fill. A man attended to me and asked if I wanted the same length; I requested them a bit shorter. Instead of filing them, he used a nail drill, which resulted in them being much shorter than I wanted and with an arch. Now, all my nails are uneven, the French tip is too thick, and my nails have an arch that doesn't look or feel right. When I voiced my dissatisfaction, he was impolite and unprofessional. read more

I made an appointment to get a full set, I live in Mukilteo so it was a commute for me. On my way to the salon they canceled me, they wasted my time and gas. I was not happy at all. UPDATE: not even 2 hours later and one of my nails already broke off... a waste of my time and money. If this tech continues to do other people the way she did me, she's gonna meet the wrong person one day, but this goes for everyone there tbh. don't waste your money & just go to lotus spa in Renton or sunshine nails in Fed. I honestly just have to laugh at the fact that I was there for almost 4 hours and got these outrageously terrible results lmao.. first of all, i was placed with someone completely different than who I booked with. what's the whole point of making an appointment then. it's damn near a walk in, make it make sense. The tech I got did not seem like she knew what she was doing. Not to be rude but her work needs significant improvement if this salon wants to keep overcharging people. The work isn't even quality, it makes me laugh honestly. Would give -5 stars if I could. Everyone is nice but so what... time is money therefore don't waste my time and I'm sure many customers would agree. read more

This is the best nail salon for acrylics and creative designs out of all of the nail salons I've gone to in the area (and I've been to multiple) because I'm not from the area and have been scoping out nail salons for the last couple years. The atmosphere is great-- There's always current music playing that really puts you in a good mood, and the nail technicians are very welcoming and friendly. The customer service is great and they will work with you and take their time to make sure you leave the salon loving your nails. The pricing is on the higher end, but it usually is in other salons who are known for long acrylics and phenomenal designs! I absolutely have to rave about Jay, who is my go to person when it comes to my nails! He's an extremely talented nail artist and whenever I give him design ideas of what I want, he exceeds my expectations or makes them look even better than the pictures I send him! If you love long acrylics and being extra with your nails, this is the place for you! read more

I have been going to them for years now. Evon and her team are the best in the Seattle area. Moving back from LA where great nail artists are plentiful, this team is that and more. I've been to a few of their techs and have had great experiences each time no complaints. Love them! Won't go anywhere else. read more

I made an appointment for 2 o'clock. The girl text me and said she would be 30 minutes late that's not cool at all I booked for 2 PM. I text her, so can I get a discount she ignored me when I got to the service she rushed it completely and then over charge me $20. I get my nails done here consecutively every three weeks and it's exactly $70 every time I never change the design or the length because I'm very OCD. She left me with dirty nails I have to rush to pick up my kids. I will never come here again and I have been supportive of this place for the past 5 months never again, Catherine you suck and you're customer service is trash.. Nikki and Lee are the only good ones who take their time. I will never come back. Disrespectful scammers. Yes! I have been looking on and off for a good nail salon that does really cool designs and specializes in long nails. It's an understatement saying I have found my new place. I've been seeing Ayn for a few months now and I don't see myself stoping anytime soon. She's one of the sweetest people I have ever met and she nails (pun intended lol) every design I bring to her. I had a HORRIBLE experience at E Nail Bar in Federal Way, I was called out of my name and my nails were terrible. I looked on Yelp and found EV Nail Studio and read the reviews, I was impressed at their work and their prices. When I called I was graciously greeted by Hanna, I explained to her my nails and what I hoped they could do to fix it. She assured me that they would do their best to help fix my nails and scheduled me an appointment. When I got there I was instantly greeted by Hanna and we talked about my nails.. My nail Tech was Tim and then I tell you he SLAAAYED MY NAILS TO THE GAWDS I mean it! I am so happy and impressed with their hospitality and kindness and how nice and kind they were to me! I will go here for life. 10/10 highly recommended read more

The nail salon is very clean and modern, on the higher end with drink options as you're getting pampered. I like to get very basic nails, but they seem to specialized in long acrylic nails with design art and have clients commuting from far away for it. I went here to get a simple ombré acrylic set and a pedicure. I booked one of the fancier pedicures because I wanted to treat myself. The manicure ended up taking an extra hour because the woman doing them disappeared for awhile (no idea why) so I just sat there. By the time I was supposed to get my pedicure there wasn't enough time to get the fancier one and I left with the basic. My toe nail polish smudged very easily after I left (despite sitting for 30 minutes for it to dry) and started to flake off two days after. I've never had toe nail polish disappear so fast, usually it sticks for ages until you take it off yourself. The store is pretty and well kept. However, they charge far too much money for the work they do and the time it takes. I would not spend my money here again to spend 3-4 hours getting a simple ombré. There are salons who do the same level of work for cheaper and faster. read more

Quality of nail service and shop comfortability has gone down since I have been patroning them. Nails chip and broke a few days after getting a rushed dip service that cost $60. Will not be driving 45 minutes anymore just for this shop. read more

This places website is very deceiving. I went her on Saturday with my mom and daughter. I paid these people over $200. The pedi's me a my mom got were ok. Not worth the $55 but ok. As for my nail experience it was awful. Everything I asked the young lady to do. She said she couldn't do cause I didn't want my nails super long. Mind you the picture I was showing her they had short nails. So I just got a quick fill and proceeded to wait 3 hours for them to put a full set on my daughter. That full set has almost all popped off and it has only been 4 days. What nails are left are lifting and the polish has come off. The service was nice but extremely slow, and the quality of work is very terrible. You would think if they are taking 3 hours to complete a simple full set, you would have the best nails out there. I contacted them to ask for a refund and am currently waiting for a manager to come in and call me back. read more

If "what I asked for vs. what I got" was a person this was after sitting there for 4 hours. Laurel started my nails, trinity tried to fix them, and unprofessional manager jay ended up finishing them. When any salon owner leaves a shop the report degrades. Jay calls himself the manager but if you don't like his work, he'll make you feel so uncomfortable. I've made the drive to Kent probably 8 times to get those flawless nails we all see on Instagram however most of the techs have attitudes when asked or when you question their technique. Also when I've had rhinestones they fall off within a day or two. Also the last time I got my nails done it took four hours!!! The glitter came off my nail that night and it's been a week and three nails have fallen off so far and to be honest I could call and complain but who wants to drive 3 hours to wait four more were all busy as well read more

The absolute worst gel manicure I have ever had! I'm new to the area and I'm sure me returning won't hurt their business, but I won't be returning. You'd think I was a bad/rude customer to deserve this service. My appointment was originally cancelled with James via text so I rescheduled with Jacky. When I arrived it was full and the lady couldn't find my appointment, but I showed her on my phone of my scheduled appointment. She sent Jennifer to do my manicure which wasn't who I booked with. The polish was sticky until she put the clear. She didn't put any oil or lotion on my nails. I doubt this polish will last two weeks. read more

I googled nail salons in a frenzy and found EV Nail Studio, I called and unbeknownst to me I spoke with the lovely owner, she squeezed me in on a very busy Saturday and personally did my nails. I have never been happier with a nail salon as I am now, I have now been going for two months or so and they always see me on time and do exactly what I request, I meet with Trinity as she is now my regular nail tech here and I love her. I've been going to EV nails off and on since I moved back in July 2021. The inconsistencies are always due to bad experiences. This is my third time giving this nail salon a chance thinking "maybe they'll be better this go-round" and nope! The customer service is terrible and the mail service leaves a lot to be desired. I came in on 05/18/2023 to be serviced by Cong. I arrived a little late, but made sure to keep in constant communication (I was heading north from Puyallup, WA during o'clock traffic). I sat there for an additional 30 minutes before Hannah started removing my old set and putting on a new set of acrylic nails. She was very rough to begin with. I showed her the exact picture that I wanted - shape, design & color to match (picture included). She begins to start cutting my nails into stiletto shape after asking what shape I wanted. I told Hannah I wanted square square but thin, NOT bulky. Hannah ASSUMED I wanted stiletto by me saying "skinny square". Hannah proceeds to ask me what's wrong and I tell her straight up I wanted square square not stiletto and the shape is stiletto (didn't get a pic, but boy oh BOY do I wish I would've been thinking clear enough to take a picture of what shape SHE wanted to give me that was now stuck on my hands for the next two weeks at $120+ an appointment). At this point Cong takes over and starts applying the acrylic to my nail bed. I ask him if they'll square out and he assured me once the acrylic was applied they'd look better. All but two of my fingers were almost square and so Congs solution was to make the stiletto. I told him no that's not what I wanted. He got frustrated with me and started speaking in his native language to Hannah - very rude in my opinion. Hannah then comes over to me and starts yelling in my face how she asked me what shape I wanted etc to which I told her what she gave me is not what I wanted. I was literally holding back tears I've never felt so belittled in my life over Hannah's mistake. I was forced to cut my nails down super short just to have square square which is NOT what I asked for, wanted or paid for. After paying $110 and tipping Cong $10, I left feeling disrespected, unappreciated & embarrassed, considering this all happened in front of other nail techs and two other customers in the nail salon. I'd hate to say it's a race issue, but I definitely haven't seen anyone else being talked to or treated like this. I pay, I tip well and I try to be the ideal client but holy smokes. They're giving McDonald's service expecting Texas de Brazil prices in here! I used to always recommend this place, but I won't anymore. I'm including pictures so that future customers can see. What I asked for (colorful SQUARE SQUARE nails) vs what I settled on (still asking for SQUARE SQUARE just solid colors) vs what I received/had to pay for(design looks terrible, nails too short). posting this review to Yelp too because they've apparently hidden my google review! that should tell you what kind of business this is read more

If I could give zero or negative stars I would. This is my 2nd time visiting and both times I had an appointment but had to WAIT over 40 mins. This time I had to WALK OUT because I booked with a nail tech and she was busy but didn't tell me until 40 mins after I got there. She said, "You booked with me but now I'm busy so you're with her." And just passed me on to someone else who obviously wasn't as experienced. If I'm paying $100+ I expect my nails to have the design I show you. Why would you have me sitting here for 40+ mins when you're the one who said hello to me and I told you who my appt was with! They started at 12:30 and I didn't leave until 2:45ish. They have new techs frequently and the one who did my nails this time left me with several cuts on my cuticles. usually i love ev nails because they use amazing products and my nails always last a super long time! unfortunately i booked with Laurel this time and it wasn't great at all. She barely talked or asked how I was liking them so far.. when i finally mentioned that i'd like more of a round french tip than what she was doing she argued with me and told me that we were unable to do that. when i asked if she could shorten the sides at least she literally told me no so she basically chose my shape. my friends nails came out amazing the only mistake i did was booking with laurel. my nails are uneven, the shape is horrible & messy and the whole set is overall lazy. for $100 it's a little crazy how bad her customer service was and how she didn't listen to me one bit. she didn't even asked if i liked them after or said goodbye. definitely put some consideration into who you book with. read more
