My granddaughter showed them a photo of what she wanted. Throughout the appointment, they checked in with her and made adjustments based on her feedback. The final result wasn't an exact copy of the photo, it was actually better, and she was thrilled with how it turned out (the flower was hand drawn not a jewel). What impressed me most was that they genuinely cared about making sure she was happy and were willing to make changes along the way until she loved the result. In my experience, if you speak up, they genuinely want to make it right. They can't fix something if they don't know you're unhappy with something. The salon felt clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. It was a hot day outside, but the inside felt cool and comfortable the entire time. I occasionally noticed staff helping other customers while I was there, but I never felt neglected and the delays were brief. For me, a salon visit is a chance to relax, so it wasn't an issue at all. If I had been in a hurry, I believe I could have communicated that and they would have accommodated me. Overall, I found the staff kind, accommodating, and focused on customer satisfaction. In a world where good customer service can be hard to find, this team stood out. They listened, cared about the outcome, and made sure we left happy. Instead of respecting my appointment or even asking if I was okay with switching, the owner simply took my technician away from me and gave her to the walk-in. The owner told me that the other customer had requested my technician and that another technician would help me -- but that person was currently eating breakfast. Seriously? I made an appointment and arrived on time, yet a walk-in customer was given priority over me because she requested the technician I was already being serviced by. That is completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, the replacement technician's work was just as disappointing. My manicure looked like it had already grown out after two weeks. There was a noticeable amount of space around my nails where the polish wasn't even applied properly. The pedicure was also poorly done. I specifically asked for round nails, but they were filed sharp. One side was longer than the other, and when I pointed it out, the technician kept filing instead of simply cutting the nail shorter. I had to explain that she was making the nail thinner and sharper instead of actually making it shorter before she finally used nail clippers. The French tips were uneven and sloppy, with some areas having much more polish than others. At that point, I was so frustrated and tired of having to point out every problem that I just stopped complaining and left. I normally go to Honest Nails, but I decided to try this place because it was closer and cheaper. Unfortunately, this experience reminded me that sometimes you really do get what you pay for. If you need to get extensions in order to grow your nails longer under the Japanese gel, the first appointment will be pricier than the rest, but if you take care of them and use the nail oils (either your own or the one that Christy was so nice to give me) each appointment will be less than the first, given the range of designs chosen. The salon itself is a bit tricky to find if you're unfamiliar-- it is inside the 99 area mall, to the left of 99 if you enter from the front. It's its own storefront and is pretty quiet and calm inside. First appointment after tip was close to 300. After I've had a range of 130-200 after tip depending on design. I've tried other salons for less that provide acrylic or gel tips that have good reviews and techs but I've always had a nail break or my natural nails would suffer. I've been coming for a few months and my nails are healthier longer and I get compliments always. :)

I also have never left a salon in p a i n. See the two toes where serious blood was drawn when the bit was cut and dug out along edge of big toenail. I'm dreading potentially being one of those stories of getting an infection after a pedi. Also, the toenails are all different shapes & sizes and they're not all fully painted. I think I understand why there's mostly only manicure photos. Now I realize I'll have to pay someone to remove the polish because I won't be able to. BTW, this is the only type of polish/service available. I would have read about the service if there was a web page linked on Yelp.
