My wife and I have been coming to this nail salon for the past 13 years, and we couldn't be happier with the service and experience each time! The shop is always spotless, with comfortable massaging chairs that make you feel pampered the moment you sit down. I only go for pedicures and mostly because I enjoy the massage part of the service and I always get my pedicure done by Linh - she is SO GOOD at getting those corners and leaves your feet and nails feeling like new. My wife gets her gel manicure with Hang and her pedicure with Linh as well. Both Linh and Hang do an amazing job, which is why we've stayed loyal to them for so many years, and can`t imagine going anywhere else. The rest of the staff are also fantastic--everyone here is skilled and attentive. The salon has air conditioning in the summer, making it a cool, relaxing escape, there are two big screen TV`s to keep you entertained and the added bath salts to the water makes for an extra touch of luxury. The leg and foot massages are absolutely incredible--a highlight! They have other services too, like waxing, eyebrow stuff etc. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for their next go-to nail person. I got my first gel manicure here today and there's an indention on my index finger. The manicurist said it was my natural nail, I think I'd know if there was a giant crater on my nail. There were also indentations on my ring and thumb finger, but those were harder to photograph. The manicure also has some streaky spots, that are more or less opaque. I thought gel manicures were supposed to be way nicer than regular ones. The manicurist didn't address any of my concerns, not coming here again. read more

I was really excited to go here because they had reasonable prices and it seemed relatively nice. However they charged me an extra $45 without telling me to do my nails. I didn't get a design or anything, it was just a fill for the acrylics I already had. When I was getting my nails done the lady doing my nails got really frustrated with me because I politely asked if I could have glitter on my nails before I even chose the color. At first she said yes, but once she put the color on my nails she said that I didn't need glitter because she liked my nails without it. I then had to ask the manager if I could get glitter on my nails because the lady refused to put glitter on my nails. In the end I did get the glitter. It was a simple thing to do that only took her maybe a minute. But she still yelled at the manager while she was doing my nails, saying "they looked better before". When I asked them why they charged me so much they said "it's because you got gel". I didn't know what the difference was and they didn't tell me what was gel in the beginning. They waited to let me choose my color until the last minute. I felt very rushed because I didn't even know what colors they had in the beginning. They keep everything in the back of the salon. I won't be going there again. My friend's nails are very thick and clumpy and she didn't get anything special either. Just a fill with a simple color. I felt that I wasn't welcome there and there are plenty of other places I can go for better service and cheaper prices. I went in on the recommendation of a friend, and I was in a rush in finding a place to do my nails for prom, so I didn't know what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice the ladies were and how they were very thorough in making sure I was liking how my nails looked, they kept on asking if what they had done was fine and if it was what I wanted, Another thing was how the lady doing my nails was really nice and noticed I was anxious with the filing tool (because of past injuries at other salons) so she helped me relax a whole lot which was really appreciated. I'm so sad to post a bad review. Whoever did my acrylics didn't even trim my natural nails, or the hangnails. The sides of 10/10 of my nails are not painted. The shape is so inconsistent on each nail. Half of the time the nail tech was on FaceTime or the phone, and got visibly annoyed when I moved my hand and "messed" up the fingernail paint. Came in for a pedicure and ended up getting a hour long massage on my legs. It was so relaxing, I might have fallen asleep at some point. My favorite thing about Queen Nails is my feet actually fit in the pedicure tub. Despite the salon being really busy, these ladies not only took their time to make sure everything was right, they managed to get to everyone within a timely manner! I went in today as a walk-in for a pedicure, had no wait for a chair and only about a five minute wait for a nail technician. Very odd place. I only came here because my boyfriend wanted to get a quick haircut next door. So I figured, eh even if it's mediocre that's okay. Well, that's what it was - mediocre. Would have been a better experience if I wasn't greeted so weird. There was no one in there but all the worked we're sitting on the floor in the back room eating and socializing. There was a guy on his laptop there who half assed greeted me. I said I wanted gel manicure and then he says okay and walks away, while all the girls were staring at me (still sitting down ). I stood there awkwardly because no one told me to have a seat anywhere. Then literally a min later one girl who was stuffing her face said "you can sit over there" Other ppl who later came in were also greeted poorly. The guy started the manicure and since some other customer came in, I had to switch seats and go with someone else. Horrible customer service and the towels all looked dirty. My manicure is all lumpy and inconsistent. Most awkward experience ever. They don't even have warm towels to wipe off the massage oil. She literally used the towel that had been laying on the table that whole time and used it to wipe my arms!! Never again, but I didn't go in expecting the world, and I sure didn't get it. My wife and I consistently come here for his and hers pedicure spa days. They are always very friendly, there is almost never a wait, and we enjoy our time here. My experience at Queen nails was alright. I have nothing to rave about, nor do I have anything to warn about. I was impressed that the Pedicure was an hour long, even with the salon being packed. Some places hurry and skimp on the procedure to fill your spot, but not here. The massage was wonderful, but on 2 of my toes she cut the cuticle a little too far and made me bleed. That always makes me a little nervous, and I hope they sterilize their equipment! I had a manicure, also. It's a really good deal for both, only 30 dollars. The same time and consideration was put in to my fingers, and she even gave me a back massage! My only complaint is that my polish has come off on a few of my fingers and it's only the second day. 3.5 stars Had 30 mins to spend before picking up my hubby and decided to get a mani since I was in the area. It's conveniently located by a Safeway so I did my grocery shopping first. At $12 it's a fair price and service was friendly and prompt. My mani took about 30 mins and I liked the results. The nail tech was a guy amd seemed to know what he was doing. My nails look great 5 days later. There is a $.99 service charge for cards, which I wasn't informed about, so pay with cash if you have it handy. This use to be my salon and every time anyone said "oh I need a mani/pedi" I would tell them I go to Queen nails. For valentines my honey got me a $75 gift certificate here. Since I've moved I have held onto it planning to use it. I was in the area and decided I'd use it. I was told " no more" and handed to someone else who tells me "yeah you can't use that, its expired." So going out of my way down there just to be told my gift certificate was expired, no exceptions even though I'm a loyal customer and it was a $75 gift. Its sad. I've been here now quite a few times I see why some might think they're not greeting you quickly enough but that's not unusual in nail salons when everybody is working I take a seat and they'll ask what you need always timely and nice. Everyone is kind and warm pedicures clean and my nails are always PERFECT toes and nails! I've done all just mani/pedi and gel and acrylics and honestly they're better then I expected with every lady whose done my nails. They're perfectly shaped not all thick looking I like mine thin natural looking and they last. I helped my friends paint their new house and as a thank-you was treated to a pedicure. My friend really likes to get her nails done here (acrylics - something I've never done) and I was willing to give Queen's a shot. In general I steer away from nail places in grocery store plaza's - but made an exception given the free nature of this pedicure. The pedicure took about 45 minutes, about 15 minutes of which was a leg massage that was fabulous. The colors of polish were a bit limited, but I was able to find something that I really liked. There were lots of trashy magazine options which always make me happy. The biggest down-side was that a small TV was on and we were "forced" to watch the news - which these days isn't exactly relaxing... The gal that did my toes was really considerate and even warned me that the first coat of my chosen color was going to look weird. It did but it turned out just fine. Once I arrived, I asked if they did shellac, since I didn't see any ads or posting for this service, and one girl said yes. - once I was seated, there was some confusion and was asked again, what color I wanted for my manicure. I told her that it was for shellac and if I could see the shellac colors-- this confused the girl even more and someone else had to explain to her what I wanted (in their language; and from what I can tell, she didn't speak much English). - after this, I can tell she was inexperienced since taking off my previous shellac manicure became a challenge! Anyway, in the end, only one girl in the salon was able to do shellac so there was a lot of waiting on my end and also NO explanation or communication to me of what was going on. --- oh yeah, I'm also not sure why there was a monster truck show on tv, since it was a snoozer and not entertaining at all! Two stars because the girl that did my shellac was nice and actually spoke to me and asked how I was doing. P.S- they take credit cards but you cannot tip on the receipt. Horrible customer service, they never greet you when you walk in they just kinda stare until you tell them what you want. I got a full set last time I was in and I wasnt told to pick a color or where to sit or anything until she walked me over to one of the tables and started to put my nails on. this is where I started to get nervous as I realized she hadn't even cut my nails or anything before hand she just slapped some acrylics on my hands very sloppily (the acrylic was dripping everywhere!). then she FINALLY asked me what nail color I wanted and since i realized at this point she was just gonna keep making my nails worse i told her just to paint them black. that's where she started to act really weird with me and start yelling at me to "pay right now" I had no idea what I had done to this lady but I handed her my card and she charged me. I've never been charged half way through a service before so I found that really strange. did she not trust me? I dont know. My future hubby and I went here to get pedicures for a special event. There was no waiting and everyone was very friendly. We got good pedicures and the price is right. My rave is specifically about Tina! So often when I go to a nail salon, whether for a manicure or pedicure, I often find there to be a language barrier that makes it difficult to convey what exactly I would like to have done. A friend recommended Queen Nails and said to ask for Hang because she is awesome. I read Yelp reviews and wasn't sure because they weren't that great, but I noticed most were from years ago. I decided to give it a shot and got shellac and thought she did really good. I just went back for the second time and saw Kim. I was very impressed with pedi (first in two years, I am hard on my feet and haven't been taking care of them) and got another shellac mani. Loved the shape and color on my nails. The pedi was awesome with a great leg massage and the massage chairs are good. Call ahead or you may have to wait, especially on the weekends-- but what nail place doesn't have a wait nowadays?
