I don't usually come here it was a last minute appt. asked for cat eye french but just got sparkle. she didn't even use the metal. the tip lines are inconsistent, lumpy bumps and it was messy. I'm from Southern California where we have tons of reliable nail shops... it's a little bit different here in the Pacific Northwest where most people are pretty conservative with their nails. I drive almost 2 hours round trip to come to Skyway Nails because they do such a great job every single time. I never have an issue with the shape here, I've never broken a nail from here either (which is a big deal), and they are usually pretty gentle on my hands with the tools they use! This nail salon is my go to over any other ones in the Seattle area after a year and a half of experimenting. 10/10 read more

Hana is the best nail technician I know! While the shop itself is a hole in the wall, you come here for the best set of acrylics that will last versus for the relaxation factor. They don't offer that much massages but for the price, I don't mind. My full sets always last weeks on end without peeling or falling off. After the 1st day after my manicure I noticed skin around my nails that weren't properly cut, but I disregarded it as it is winter time and my hands could be dry. After 4 days, my dip nails began to lift off near the cuticles. It's now day 8 and every single dipped nail is becoming loose and snags onto my hair when I put my hair up. My daughter and I were in the area and needed to get our nails done for a special occasion. I got a full set of acrylics with French painted on (the way I like it). While the process was different from what I'm used to at my usual salon, the gal did a great job. After nearly two weeks, there is no lifting and nails still look great. The 3 ladies that we encountered, and also had the beginning process done (cutting nails and gluing tips), were courteous and willing to do as we requested. This was my teenage daughter's first experience with tips and acrylics. She had her nails painted in the color that she chose and was very pleased with the outcome. However, I thought that her nails looked bent up. As long as she was satisfied, that is what matters. Total cost for our nails was about the going rate. Her shop closed for a short period of time due to flooding but as soon as she opened she took the initiative to reach out to me personally to let me know she was reopen! I love coming here every two weeks, Hana and her staff always take care of me. Not to mention her prices have always remained competitive but fair. She keeps up to date with new shellac polished and different finishes and always does an amazing job.
