Service was good and I always walk out feeling myself. I've been getting acrylics done for over 20 years and I have been getting them done by one in particular and she does a great job. I picked this place and now I'm pretty sure I'll be going back every 2 weeks after work. Here is what I loved. 1. I scheduled an appointment for 530pm and was in the seat getting my nails done by 535pm... WTH.. that never happens. Usually I'm like why am I sitting here still 20-30 min past my appointment. Not here!! 2. Cut my cuticles before the application of acrylic! 3. Acrylic was thin not thick and fake looking! 4. When I say the file work was just how I like it.. 5. Cleaned up my nails under 6. Came here a few times, always go to Kelly for manicures bc she is the best at ombré dip! In the past I got a shellac Pedicure with Leena. Basic pedicure was $30 + $10 for shellac polish which is a super decent price and it lasts forever! It's about $55 for ombré dip manicure by Kelly and she is an perfectionist. I love getting a neutral pink 173 and soft white, the transition is sooo pretty! The only thing is Kelly is super good at what she does & has a regulars who only request her, so book early! She is quite a multi tasker so it's likely that she will have to answer the phones in the middle of your Manicure or bounce around to help others. Overall she does an amazing job and I've been back to her a bazillion times. Decently priced nail salon and friendly customer service! A little bit of a language barrier with some, but Kelly will help out if needed! In terms of covid, everyone wears masks and shop seems pretty clean. They have acrylic barriers up between the nail techs and clients at the Manicure desks & at the front desk. They don't sanitize the chairs between clients, but I'm not sure if most nail salons do that? I always get my nails done here for all my major events - engagement, engagement shoot, wedding, pre vacation, birthdays, etc and they have turned out perfect every time! I'm giving three stars for waiting but for stars for the quality of nails. they will say you can be seen but you may be waiting for 20 min. They may even put you in a chair for a pedicure and you may sit there for some time. They stay busy because they do good nails. I forgot the name of the person who did my nails but she's good, not chatty and gets me out. I went in to get a shellac removal and many/pedi...nothing too difficult. I gave the lady two options for my shellac color and asked if they had a match for the polish color. She said yes and brought the colors out. When doing the manicure she did the shellac (which looked bumpy, and a hot mess!) she looked at my hand and then said something to I assume management about the subpar results. Then she started taking off the shellac she just put on my fingers with the nail machine thing used for acrylic. She didn't take off all the shellac...you could still see the lighter shellac color on my nails a lot! I was told to wash my hands without soap and then she started doing shellac on top of the other shellac in a color that actually matched my toes. I don't think you're supposed to put shellac on top of shellac... She told me the shellac polish she used the first time was old and no good and that she was using a new bottle of shellac. At this point, I'm over it because it's taken way too long and I'm upset. Also, the shellac dryer toward the end stopped working so she had to swap it. The new shellac polish was still a hot mess and bumpy, not smooth like what I'm accustomed to. In the end, she tells me "sorry for your nails" I'm thankful for the apology, but I can't get my time back, my fingernails look a hot mess and my nails hurt!!! I hope no permanent damage was done. I found this place when researching top nail salons...negative. It's a day later and my nails are still sore...I will not be returning here. I've been going to glamour nails for about four years now. I've never gone elsewhere to get pedicures but glamour nails and recently from my most recent pedicure from them I got toenail fungus that spread all the way to my other foot. It's been hard to get rid of since, I notified the owner Kelly, and all they did was deny it and took no accountability for it. Toenail fungus is no joke and is hard to get rid of. To say the least I am upset and am also upset with the lack of responsibility taken for this. Lost themselves a loyal customer. Just letting you all know to be aware. This review is just for a gel x soak off/removal with Quyen. He was quick and careful. A lot of nail salons will try to pry your nails off or shave it down completely but they will actually soak it off for you. Although he did use the drill a little, he was very gentle and I appreciate that so much. I was in and out within 30 minutes and it was only $15. Highly recommend this place and I will be back to try their other services. read more

I hadn't seen Kelly in a loooooong time, over a year I'm sure. I gave up my acrylics just to save on money. I miss them dearly and really want to go back. And Kelly would still be the only one that I go back to. I did, however, stop in for a pedicure one afternoon and was seated immediately. As I was soaking my feet, Kelly looked over at me, addressed me by name, and said, "Long time no see!" I couldn't believe it. And trust me, I look like a different person with black hair versus blonde. It was so nice that she even remembered me and took the time to say hello with another client in her chair. It was a heartwarming feeling that will make me a repeat customer no matter what. The pedicure was great! I am very ticklish and I'm glad all the nail techs take notice of that and back off a little. Last time I was here it just seemed like the lacked attention to detail, Kelly worked on me and just seemed rush the the whole process even though I had an appt scheduled with her. I came here a few months ago after reading all these great reviews. On the plus side, I came early in the morning so there was no wait and it's in a shopping center so there's a lot of parking. I got at least 3 cuts on my cuticles which I've never gotten anywhere else (I posted a picture). The woman doing my nails didn't seem too apologetic about it either. My nail shaping was just okay. I'm a nail snob so I do my research before trying a new salon. I didn't once and I was very disappointed (learned my lesson). From all the great reviews here, I learned that Kelly is the owner and does a great job, so I made an appointment with her (fill with shellac). This was my first time here, it is a small nail salon in Downtown Renton. Easy parking (lot) and the salon is super cute. Very clean and welcoming (I always say that, but it's the truth) too. Since I had an appointment I didn't have to wait long, was called up right around my time. They have a lot of options to choose from so that's always a plus. I just did a simple nail color change and did glitter polish (design) on two nails per hand ($35). I would say I was 80% satisfied with my nail services. Kelly is quick but the finished product was not the cleanest but it didn't look horrible. Also, she files really hard so if you're a wimp like me, just an FYI, LOL! One thing I noticed when choosing the owner as your manicurist (not just here, at almost every salon) is that a lot of people want them because they're good (obviously) so they have to be quicker. They're also distracted because they have to keep an eye on the store when new customers are walking in and make sure that they're taken care of. Also, they typically have to pick up the phone and manage the appointment book. I get that and it's completely fine, it's part of the business! But from multiple experiences like this, I try to make appointments with someone other than the owner so that my services don't feel distracted and rushed because that's how I felt here. But, never have been here before, I didn't know who else to make an appointment with. Wasn't seeing a lot of reviews and pictures of other people's work. Other than that, I would still come back and go with a different manicurist. My tip would also be to make an appointment because they seem to be very busy! read more

I'm going to start off with the positives. Great parking, great location, clean shop, talented nail techs(on hands). I just moved up here from San Francisco, California. The annoying part about starting your life over is finding your new nail tech, brow esthetician, and hair beautician. I loved what they did the first time on my nails. I went to work telling clients and coworkers where I got them done. Now my coworker goes there on the regular and shows me her hands every time she goes.(So I'm bringing them business). I went there this past Saturday for a fill. Looked amazing as expected. On Sunday my right index fingernail broke(they're closed on Sunday). Yesterday evening(Monday) I called and booked an appointment for the fix and threw a pedicure on top of it since I liked their work so far. I brought my own gel because I loved the color so much. They didn't have this gel line by essie and kept questioning me if it's a real gel. I was getting in debates with them. They didn't know that I've been in the cosmetics industry for almost 10 years on a professional/management level. She didn't even put it under the UV to test it. The pedicure service I received was one of their packages that come with a glass of wine(which is so cute). The owner/manager I'm assuming, apologized and let me know that in the past people have brought the wrong nail polish. The same lady apologized, fix my nail. I could feel the tension the WHOLE time. I'm a very soft spoken person and I work servicing people & I spoil tf out of my clients and I just thought to myself, "They must not want this Cali money". At the end the total came out to $55. The pedicure was $40, so I guess a nail fix on a nail that was just done less than 48 hours ago BY THEM cost $15. One nail. I just paid the money because I was exhausted at that point to even go back-and-forth with them because this was supposed to be pampering time and it ended up being bs. ** from the beginning of the service and throughout the questioning I kept telling them that I had no problem picking out one of their colors and I kept saying that we did not have to use my gel polish if it was such a big deal. I've had worst experiences but I will not be going back. read more

I don't know what happened the last time I was at Glamour Nail Spa. I like that they have a ton of options for polish, but on my last mani/pedi something strange happened. That like has never happened to me EVER in getting a mani/pedi. The girl doing my nails seemed relatively new...I didn't get an exfoliate on my feet, which is one of my main reasons for a pedicure every two weeks. But that wasn't the issue. I picked my polish (I do just regular mani/pedi, no gel, acrylic, etc.) Picked a normal polish. Was happy. Paid/left and a day later, two of my nails, the polish peeled completely off. This was very strange for a no-chip. And definitely happening way too quickly after paying to have your nails done. So I went back and as the girls are yelling and chatting in god only knows what language about the mistake that was made, they laugh, think it's funny...then keep insisting I did a no chip. Um, no. I told them that my hands didn't go under a hand dryer at any time. I physically get the polish that was used and show them. More chatter, laughing, confusion... Finally the girl removes the rest of the paint from the nails that have peeled off. Not my entire hands. And replaces it with regular polish. So now I have half no chip and have not. Who does that?? No apologies, no explanation. Kinda bad business if you ask me. Too many other options to go back. Very disappointed. read more

I made an appointment first off, but that clearly didn't mean anything. I still was waiting for service. It took forever, and the technician was quite rough. After what felt like forever, I noticed several nails were crooked. When I brought it to her attention, she "doesn't see it". If you all know the skit from Anjelah Johnson, that was my first impression.
