I came in for a manicure and pedicure. When I went to pay, I was charged $100.00 plus a tip of $20.00. Jennifer, the owner, could not give me a receipt that was readable. Told me to look at her machine only. I called my friend and was told she only pays $60.00. I called Jennifer back and she was extremely rude to me and ended up hanging up on me, telling me she has to speak with the owner. She is the owner, who bought the salon. Her husband called me back raising his voice. I told him I was overcharged and he did not even want to listen. They scammed me, I would never recommend this salon to ANYONE. I just got a phone call from Jennifer after my post. She called and said, "you no good liar". Stay away from this business. I've had many pedicures in my life, but this one takes the cake! What started out as a relatively pleasant experience and a warm welcome, ended in a rather bloody mess. I knew it was going downhill when the pedicurist began drilling the nail polish off my feet. The acetone allegedly wasn't doing the trick... I politely reminded her multiple times that her technique to drill off my feet wasn't working and I'd prefer if she didn't do that. It was causing me severe pain and bleeding around my toes and cuticles. It might've been the language barrier or her misunderstanding of how to perform a decent pedicure without butchering my toes. It's a mystery to me. Either way, it was inexcusable and a pedicure I will never forget. Literally unforgettable! And not in a good way. I kept moving my feet away from her, but they were being held hostage. Please refrain from stepping foot into CK Nails unless you wish to leave the salon without your cuticles intact. I came here yesterday with my mom, my sister and myself because my mom is getting married this coming weekend, and I wanted to splurge on her and make her feel pampered. DO NOT GO HERE. I booked an appt 2 weeks ahead for 11 am for 3 pedicures and 3 gel manicures (one acrylic). We proceeded to show the lady doing my mom's nails a picture of exactly what she wanted which was just Creme/Vanilla colored chrome nails. After shaping her acrylics, she proceeded to pull out a BRIGHT GREEN glitter gel color and was about to apply it if my mom had not noticed and say something. Next she applied a bright straight White and asked if that was good. My mom asked if they had anything off white and this is when they started to get frustrated. She pulled out a very sheer white color and started applying and said it will turn out how the picture with multiple coats. I tried to show her several colors on the nail display colors that would work but she refused to acknowledge me and just brushed me off saying the chrome wouldn't show up. I've gotten solid colors with chrome before so I know that is Bull, and I told her this but DID NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Another lady walks up as the first lady is finishing up and proceeds to ask how my mom likes it. My mom looks like she's on the brink of tears and says she doesn't like it and tried to explain/ask if the other lady could do her nails because this one was NOT listening. The lady standing up then raises her voice at my mom saying she has an appointment and she can't, and that our pictures are no good here and they can't do them based off of a picture. You mean to tell me that you're a nail salon and no one has came in with a picture of what they wanted?? Are you insane??? The first lady then goes on and points at ME saying that I was the one that approved the sheer color on her nails. As if I had a choice in the matter and as if they were MY nails. I corrected them and so did my mom, but to no avail, we were the ones being yelled at. FINALLY, the lady says that she didn't have the color that my mom wanted so it was her fault. MAAM IF YOU DID NOT HAVE THE COLOR TO BEGIN WITH, YOU SAY SOMETHING? I was charged almost 300 dollars for crap service and a crap experience. They knew she was getting married and this was important to her. Let's not forget about the lady that rushed through my sister's nails because a walk in (lady without an appt) came in and she took priority over her. Appointments mean nothing here so don't bother. One of the nails wasn't the shape I was hoping for and she adjusted the shape perfectly. I left happy! In total it was $85 before tip for a new set and the design. Just finished my pedicure and was not happy nor enjoyed my service. We have been here 6 times before so I expected great service as usual but was not pleased with the outcome. My partner and I arrived at 5:50 for our 6 pm appointment and were sat right away. My partners nail tech started at 6:00 pm on her pedicure while I sat until 6:32 pm till I told them that my water was cold and the nail tech working on my partner seemed to be yelling at the lady who had been walking around tidying the shop to start my pedicure. The nail tech who had been working on my partner told this other lady 4 times to start on mine and finally she did. After waiting for 40 minutes and my partner being almost done the nail tech then rushed through my whole pedicure. She was rough and did not do a thorough job, I did not receive the leg massage nor hot towels that are supposed to come with the pedicure. I had to remind the nail tech 2 times that I needed callous remover which she also applied and immediately scrubbed off. I was visibly frustrated at the service a rushed job yet was ignored when I mentioned it. I was still charged full price and will think twice about going back to such a half assed job. read more

I visited this salon for a pedicure for the first time ever. So glad I did. I was drawn to this salon because I've been trying to find somewhere close to home that also offers great massage. One of the reviews mentioned that they massage for a lot longer than other places so I definitely wanted to try it out! I used to go to places in west Seattle and Queen Anne since I used to live there but now live in Renton. Jenny the owner is soooo sweet on the phone. I had to cancel my appt in the morning and she was able to squeeze me in when I called her yesterday afternoon. I found parking on the same block. Renton has lots of construction right now so definitely take your time with parking. Right when I walked in, Jenny greeted me by my name and had the sweetest smile . It made me feel right at home. I chose my color and my nail tech, Susan, got me ready. Susan went to work. I flinched a few times when she was cleaning my cuticles but then she got to the massage. Oh. Myyyyyy. Gawwwwwwwd. I think I went to heaven. She spent sooooo much time on my legs and feet and I super appreciated it. I get a lot of chronic pain and my feet and legs are always neglected. She spent extra time because I was the last customer. Instead of rushing through the appointment so she could get home (I was booked at 6 and they close at 7), she took her sweet time and used lotion and oil on my legs. I really loved this! Not sure how long they will go when the salon is busier but I'm definitely coming back. I don't often treat myself to nails anymore but may have to start. They prefer cash and I don't carry any, so I asked my partner to bring them for me since we live only 15 minutes away. He also brought my own top coat that I love. I don't have much cash so I'll have to ask Jenny if credit card is okay next time. I asked her if she could cap the tips since i have such thin nails and it makes them last longer and she totally did! I will update more later :) I spent about 40 minutes in the massage chair and a few more minutes in the drying booth. read more

Ive been going to C K Nails since I moved to WA from Cali, i took 2 months off from getting fills to let me nails grow. I normally go with Mia, but she's is on vacation so I got Jenny. I don't know what was going on today but she was so SLOPPY, powder all over my hands, polish was bubbles and I asked for square shape and it is not square! Susan did my daughters nails, she did good until it was time for the hearts on her nails...She just did a BLOB of polish!! I paid 145 for both of us! And they come out like shit!! read more
