This is my most favorite and go to nail place. Don't be fooled by the look of a small nail salon in the neighborhood, cause they can do all kind of fancy and complicated designs, without breaking your wallet. The owner is always so nice, easy going and would try her best to accommodate all of my request. Just make sure to make a reservation because they do get busy. read more

A gem in the neighborhood! Only been here 3 times in the past few years but this will now be my go to salon! I've tried so many salons but this one last the longest, the owner is very detailed oriented and never skip the step of cleaning the paint around the cuticle with a brush instead of just using their own nail cleaning it. Summer Nails will be my new neighborhood nail salon thanks to Yelp. I had just recently moved to the Renton area and was in the search for a no frills, down to nail business salon and I came here last minute hoping for a quick Shellac pedicure. Luckily for me the snow was hindering most customers from driving outside so I came in the evening to a completely empty nail salon with three technicians waiting for my business :) I chose my Shellac color and they have quite an impressive selection of both Shellac and regular polishes. The salon is quaint and cozy, has but four massage chairs and a couple booths and a UV bar for curing the nails. The massage chair was very comfortable and plush and I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary foot massage with hot stones. It felt great, only wished it lasted a bit longer :( Lynn did my pedicure and she did an amazing job. She cleaned up my cuticles really well and the polish finish was flawless and without any air bubbles or streaks. They do accept credit cards and you're able to put tip on the card as well, just a very small $.50 fee. Will definitely come back regularly! read more

This nail salon is right by both my hair salon and where I get my lashes done. I basically have all my services in one location! This was my first time here and I LOVED it. I've been getting into shellac nails and they have soooo many options for shellac manicure colors, it took me about 5 minutes to choose a color! I had shellac on my nails when I came in already so they charged $5 for removing it. So I just ended up getting a shellac polish change instead of a shellac mani. TIP: for the polish change, they still filed, trimmed and shaped my nails! The lady who did my nails was very detail-oriented and she did a great job! This place used to be my favorite to get my nails done. To this day, I do think they give the best pedicures in terms of nail polish application. However today that I got a dip set the nails were left over 1mm thick. I called and asked them if they could fix them, when I arrive the lady told me they would be removed, I was ok with it because they were so bad, I was embarrassed others would see my hands. This place is amazing! The prices are good and the ladies who work there is so sweet! My sister and I were greeted by a sweet lady upon entering. I would give more stars if Yelp allowed it! Hon did my nails and she did an amazing job! She paid attention to detail and we had a lovely chat while she worked on my nails. This place is so much better than other extremely expensive places I've been to before. A nice baking show was playing in the background which was nice to watch when we weren't chatting! They are honest with their pricing and the work is quality. 10/10 would come back again! My fingers were not sore and did not sting after I left, which has happened before at other nail places. I called a few days prior for an afternoon appointment for a party of 4 and on the appointment day, my party and I were quickly seated and the staff went straight to work. We opted for the spa mani & pedi combo for $35. After speaking with Minh (the one who was assisting me) I opted to get an acrylic tip and shellac polish. I showed Minh the photo I found on instagram and she replicated 90% of the photo. I was super happy with the result. Overall experience I would rate 4 out of 5. This location is quaint and I got to chit chat with Minh about life. The pedicure was fabulous but I didn't feel I got much of a manicure. Hand massage? Nope. It was nonexistent. Perhaps Minh forgot? The other ladies in my party did. My total ended up being about $75 which is reasonable. Minh was quick and efficient overall. Would I return? Perhaps if I was in the neighborhood but I wouldn't drive out of my way just to go here. read more

I've been on a search for a nail place between work & home, and I've finally found a legit place! When you're sitting on 405 and notice your nails need some help... True story :/ This is definitely going to be my go-to and part of my nail salon rotation! Here's why! For those that have to trek all the way down 405 during rush hour, this location is convenient! Exit 7, just right off the freeway. Parking can be a bit tight depending on what time you go, I've been able to park up front when I stop by but keep in mind this place shares a parking lot with a pub, hair salon, and I think a convenient store. Appointments isn't required but they do turn down people so I highly recommend you call first. I asked the owner and sounds like rule of thumb is you call a few hours ahead and just ask for a slot. I was turned down a few days ago and when I was finally able to come in, they turned down three people and asked two to come back later as there's only two ladies working and they already had a full clientele they were attending to. I've been to a couple of places in Bellevue only to be disappointed by lack of attention to detail. I'm extremely picky with my nails and I can appreciate a place that really takes their time and not rush me through my "me" time. With busy schedules, work, life, family I think everyone who comes to the nail salon to relax is there to have a little getaway but also should receive great service. I've been here twice within the last month & so far, I think the service is really nice. They aren't particularly chatty but it's a clean and quaint place. I've been able to collect my thoughts and relax and haven't had to really hawk watch to ensure the quality is up to par. The polish goes down to the cuticle, they apply the right number of coats to ensure glossiness without thickness & the sides and top are accounted for. I inspected my nails both times and couldn't really find a flaw which is fantastic! They also have stickers you can add on if you'd like! Which is pretty awesome if you ask me! I added a flower to my ring fingers and the total came out to be $30.50 for a shellac mani. Parafin is included with your mani, you can opt out if you don't want it, Treat yourself ladies! Thanks to my Mom, I recently discovered this nail salon just off exit 7 on I-405. If you're a Seahawks fan, they're just across the freeway from the VMAC and next door to Dino's Pub!! One of the reasons I used to do my own nails is that I don't like the atmosphere in most nail salons and I also don't usually have a lot of time to sit for two hours for a manicure and pedicure. Summer Nails is a great nail salon where you can feel right at home. The owner is just the sweetest and she and the other ladies in the shop work quickly and efficiently. I'm really impressed with the quality of the pedicure which includes hot stone massage and salt scrub. The shellac manicures last 2-3 weeks and also include a massage and paraffin wax treatment.
