This is my most favorite and go to nail place. Don't be fooled by the look of a small nail salon in the neighborhood, cause they can do all kind of fancy and complicated designs, without breaking your wallet. The owner is always so nice, easy going and would try her best to accommodate all of my request. Just make sure to make a reservation because they do get busy.

I'm so happy I found a very reliable nail salon close to where I live in Washington. I find myself always leaving happy with the quality of work from Summer Nails. So not only are they conveniently located for me but also very effective in getting your Nails' needs met. I do believe they wax as well. Giving 5 stars for my easy encounters with the two ladies I always see and for the satisfaction I feel after (fairly priced too I think!)

Loved my New Years nails! They did it exactly how I wanted them and she even suggested some ideas to my design and it worked out great! In 2 days, AFTER returning to her for the initial repair, ALL of my nails are now peeling and one of them has cracked again. I specifically asked for her to fix it as I stated in my initial review and asked. She just placed powder because she is very lazy. And my nails look absolutely terrible! I've gone other places and even after 3 weeks my nails have NEVER LOOKED THIS BAD. All of the shellac has peeled off! Do not go here!

Summer Nails will be my new neighborhood nail salon thanks to Yelp. I had just recently moved to the Renton area and was in the search for a no frills, down to nail business salon and I came here last minute hoping for a quick Shellac pedicure. Luckily for me the snow was hindering most customers from driving outside so I came in the evening to a completely empty nail salon with three technicians waiting for my business :) I chose my Shellac color and they have quite an impressive selection of both Shellac and regular polishes. The salon is quaint and cozy, has but four massage chairs and a couple booths and a UV bar for curing the nails. The massage chair was very comfortable and plush and I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary foot massage with hot stones. It felt great, only wished it lasted a bit longer :( Lynn did my pedicure and she did an amazing job. She cleaned up my cuticles really well and the polish finish was flawless and without any air bubbles or streaks. They do accept credit cards and you're able to put tip on the card as well, just a very small $.50 fee. Will definitely come back regularly!

I scheduled an appointment at 5pm for three manicures (dip) three pedicures (polish). We came in and the two women sat us right away and got started. I was shocked when we looked at the time because they got us out of there in 1.5 hours without feeling rushed! Will be back for sure

This nail salon is right by both my hair salon and where I get my lashes done. I basically have all my services in one location! This was my first time here and I LOVED it. I've been getting into shellac nails and they have soooo many options for shellac manicure colors, it took me about 5 minutes to choose a color! I had shellac on my nails when I came in already so they charged $5 for removing it. So I just ended up getting a shellac polish change instead of a shellac mani. TIP: for the polish change, they still filed, trimmed and shaped my nails! The lady who did my nails was very detail-oriented and she did a great job! Will definitely return for another shellac polish change!

This place is amazing! The prices are good and the ladies who work there is so sweet! My sister and I were greeted by a sweet lady upon entering. I would give more stars if Yelp allowed it! Hon did my nails and she did an amazing job! She paid attention to detail and we had a lovely chat while she worked on my nails. This place is so much better than other extremely expensive places I've been to before. A nice baking show was playing in the background which was nice to watch when we weren't chatting! I highly recommend this place for people looking to get their nails done but don't want to spend too much. I rarely do my nails but I went to get my nails done for prom and I got the spa mani and pedi combo plus a design with jewels on my nails. The design was an extra $10 which I think is very reasonable. I received several compliments about my nails and I would definitely come back if I needed to get my nails done again! read more

I think I've found my go-to nail place, conveniently located off 405! The place is quiet, ladies are quiet and very courteous. The service is spectacular for the price. $25 shellac manicure and $23 pedicure. Manicure includes the hot wax, pedicure includes hot towels and hot stone, both include massages for hands/arms and feet/legs. Manicure and pedicure were both done very well and very even. I came at noon on a Thursday so no one really there but prob should make an appointment just in case for the more popular hours! Definitely will be coming back again and recommending to all my friends and coworkers :) read more

They didn't do a good job. My nails were bubbling w shellac and instead of figuring out why, she did 4 coats. The shellac is peeling and it's been only 6 hours. Of course, they are closed tomorrow and I'm leaving for vacation read more

Went here for a deluxe pedicure. The whole pedicure portion was less than 15 minutes. She didn't even let my feet soak before she started scraping my toenail cuticles off. Ouch! I could have done that at home. Massage was fabulous. Toenail paint was rushed and sloppy. Again, I could have done a better job at home. read more

My friend and I went here for a full acrylic set and a shellac manicure. Both of our manicures came out great and my acrylic nails in particular are extremely well done. I have gotten my acrylic nails done at several salons and this is by far my best experience. To make it even better, the prices at this nail salon are very reasonable. read more

No loud TVs, nice soothing music. I was seen as soon as I came in for a gel Mani. They offered me hot green tea to drink which was nice as the day was cold. The Mani finished with parafin and hot towels then a lotion massage all included in the super reasonable price! read more

Came in for removal of dip mani and was only waiting a few minutes for a spontaneous walk in! I sat and waited for the product to soak off and was offered a seat in a pedicure chair..that massages! This is my go to place. I have been going for 18months every other week. It is not fancy at all but it is everything You need at a great price. The place is clean, the people are quite detail oriented, it always includes additional extras to pamper you like a hot stone massage if you do a pedi or a parafine if you do a manicure. Love coming to this place to get my nails and toes done. Very small and quaint location. They do an amazing pedicure which features a hot stone massage. They also offer a punch card for repeat business which is nice. If you are planning on getting a fill or a full set call in advance and make an appointment, the owner is the only one who does them! read more

I love this nail salon for so many reasons. It is never busy (rarely do I have to make an appointment--let alone wait if I do happen to walk in), familiar faces every time, so friendly, always do a FANTASTIC job with my nails. My shellac manis always last for a crazy 3-4 weeks! Oh, and hot stone massage--WHAT?!?! The place is always clean and I love the color selection of all the mostly brand new nail polishes available. And all within a mile from my house! This girl can't ask for more. read more

Absolutely love our neighborhood nail salon. My entire family- daughters, husband, son, have fun stopping in for pedicures. Everyone is very kind and makes you feel welcome. I'm terrible about making appointments and at least 75% of the time they can accommodate me as a walk-in. If they can't, it's normally no longer than 30-60minutes. read more

I came here right before a trip a few weeks ago and my experience was really memorable. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else to get my nails done! All of the ladies here are really nice and the place is really clean! The nail polishes are generally very organized by color and brand, but of course, sometimes customers misplace a few. While you're waiting, they offer you tea or bottled water which was pretty cool! I came in for a fill, and a pedicure. It was my first time getting a pedicure and the girl that was helping me was very understanding. On the plus side, you get a hot stone massage when you get a pedicure! I had shown the owner, who did my acrylic fill, a picture of some nails I found on Pinterest, and she went out of her way to find the right colors and glitter polishes to match the picture, which I thought was pretty awesome because in my experience, other salons usually ask you to pick the color on your own even when you have an inspiration picture. Also, for drying, they have this LED light table that helps dry your nails which is so much better than getting your nails dried by a little fan because you risk having little ripples on your nails from the wind, lol. And did I mention the prices were really reasonable compare to other places?! read more

Which is hard on her I'm sure -- but the cleanliness that day wasn't the best and seeing that made me feel icky I didn't say anything because I didn't want to give her a hard time. But also my skin was a bit more irritated from getting my wax done by her after that day. So she might have just been a less experienced waxer. Other than that, no complaints thus far with them.

Summer nails is the best! My wife has had her nails done, I don't know, at 100 different places, she came back from Summer nails with the BEST nails I have seen, and she is so happy, apparently the girls there are super nice and super helpful! I guess Minh did her nails, so ask for Minh. read more
