Was nervous to find a new nail salon, since I moved away from the one I loved. Looked through local places and landed on this gem. They were able to do a walk-in pedicure, and was nicely done. The pedicure was gentle and relaxing. Im a low maintenance girlie, I like simple and convenient, and I found that here. There appeared to be 2 other regulars in there getting manicures while I was in and seemed to be happy. Worst nail experience I have ever had. He cut my cuticles to the point of bleeding, the color was not at all what I asked for, the polish is all over my fingers, and the gel is so thick and uneven it looks like a child did them. So disappointing. read more

This place looks great from appearance only. However, the service is something else. We got 2 manicures and one toe was cut TOO MUCH which caused an infection and inflated toe. Pus and blood would come out. The toe also started to swell and it was hard to wear shoes. As for the French, the shape was created to be as a house. Nails also started chipping and it's only been a couple of days. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. read more

I actually like my nails the owner Tea does good except she doesn't push back your cuticles or trim them up when she is doing acrylics. She also is pretty rough and her nails are long so she pinches your skin as she is doing them. Now let's talk pedicures... today was my third time I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because I wanted to do kind of a one stop shop. Today was the worst pedicure I've ever gotten in my life. No joke! It was a man which I'm like oh good he will massage good. There's nothing worse than a wet noodle handshake. Well there's nothing worse than a wet noodle massage either. He did not clip my cuticles, he was very uncomfortable clipping toenails. It was like it was his first day. Come to find out. He's been there for years. The last two times I've gotten a pedicure. I've had to sit with my feet in the water until it got cold, and then refilled again Because they don't schedule their appointments on time. Very disappointing! read more

Honestly probably the worst pedicure I've ever had, and that's coming from someone who used to get one once a month for years and I've had some bad ones... To start I barely got any scrub on the bottoms of my feet so they are not soft at all. Barely any lotion was used. I came home and my feet were dry I have never had that experience after leaving a pedicure. The fact I had to lotion my feet when I got home was crazy. I also asked for gel six times and the male technician swore up and down it was gel until he was finished painting and tried to tell my I didn't ask for it. He also painted completely on my skin, refused to even out my toes by filing them down, by didn't clean under the nails... I could really go on. All in all a total bizarre experience. Really sad about not liking this place... the service was good and the person that was doing my nails seemed to care because she kept going back and getting the small things she missed but at the end when I had a final look at my nails... it was pretty bad... sad to say my boyfriend could have painted my nails better than here... Rude and insulting. I returned after an $80 service with a $25 tip gel mani/pedi to have a broken nail repaired on the 4th day. I made an 11:15a appointment and I sat in their salon waiting for about 20 mins after getting there at 11:25a. They took someone else who had walked in 15 mins after me and I said, "I was first! They replied that she had an appointment. Then I thought what's the deal because I had an appointment. I walked out feeling that all they cared about was making more money on someone who would give them a full set of nail job. They didn't care to warrant their work! When I lived out here I would come all the time. I've never had a bad experience here getting a pedicure or my nails done. The owners are extremely nice & remember most of their customers & engage in conversation about family & life. Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. I live close by this nail shop and wanted to like this place. There are a couple of issues that has made me reluctant about coming back. First off, if you do not understand Vietnamese, consider yourself lucky. I understood everything that was said. The comments made by a staff (and another staff went along) were very unprofessional and inappropriate, to say the least. I find it funny that the first thing they asked me when I sat down was "are you Vietnamese". Moreover, my manicure looked horrible. My nails were not shaped evenly and the paint job was terrible. I could do a better job painting my nails, intoxicated (and have). I didn't complain right then and there because I figured that I would just fix it when I get home. I hope that management would step in and check their employees when an inappropriate comment is made. I also hope that they will train their employees to give a proper manicure. People pay you so that you can carry out the detail work and if the detail in your work in not there, what is the point of getting your nails done? read more

Had mani pedi. Shellac polish on nails. My cuticles were nipped and bled on four of my fingers. My shellac was thick and vinyl like. They lifted on the edges and peeled off in 3 days!! I usually can go 2 and a half weeks with shellac from other places. I didn't recognize the polish brand and believe it to be an inferior product. It was a waste of $75. Go somewhere else. read more

I love this little place! The atmosphere is great and calming, but in no way stuffy. They offer a large array of treatments & have a lot of colors for your choosing. I mainly go there for acryllics ($15 for a fill), but sometimes splurge on a pedicure ($22 for a basic, $26 for flowers/extra OR you can get a herbal pedicure which I think are a little more & there's a book of options). The price is great for the quality. I recommend them specifically for acryllics though- they last forever & look great. I moved out of Maple Valley for a while & never found another place that did them quite as well. I live a very active lifestyle & my nails take quite a beating, but I've never had one break or fall off. The color stays forever & they stay looking great. The owner & his wife are the only ones who do the acryllics & care about your happiness when they do them. I keep mine shorter than most & they never comment like I've had other salons do. read more

I used to come this nail place for about 5 years or so. The owners are husband and wife, and I adore the husband and he does a great job. The wife always seemed stuck up and after all those years rarely ever spoke to me. Why I stopped coming was the other employees who worked there. The pedicures were nice, depending on who you got. There were 3 times I got this same girl and she was so rude, I think all I got out of her was maybe a Hi?? She never was good at the pedicures and would huff and puff or rool her eyes. I'm there for a service, but on a smile and be nice! It makes me not want to tip you. To top all of that, it tends to get busy so it's recommended you make an appt. Two times I have called and scheduled an appt then when I get there, my name is NOT on the schedule! After all those issues I stopped coming here. The place where I use to get my nails alwayd did a terrible job ( uneven and crooked nails) for $50. They completely fixed my nails and charged only $27 with gel. I just went to this place for the first time. It is absolutely the last time I will be here, ever. Not even on accident will I go here. Not even if a bear was chasing me and this was the only place for safety...I will find the closest tree and take my chances. The place needs to be examined for sanitary guidelines and compliance. The lady who was helping me was unreal...like I though I was on 'Punkd'. As I sat down, she was trying to put on old, used gloves from her drawer. She struggled with this for a minute or 5, then decided to reach in and get a 'fresh' pair for me...lucky me! Then she suddenly gets up from my pedicure and starts cleaning another foot bucket with the same gloves she was helping me with. After she is done cleaning, she comes back to me and attempts to continue, until I said "excuse me, can you please change your gloves?" only to get the response, " why?". I told her I was not in the mood to have a random, dirty foot bath all over my body. Oh ya, and the paint job seriously...seriously looks like she did it with the lights off. I skipped my manicure. Have been here twice. First time when I was here it was on a weekday, and the service was fast and the overall experience was not bad at all. The second time when I was there, I made an appointment 2 days in advance because I wanted to get them done on a Saturday, but when I got there I had to wait for 20 mins to get the service. Also, based on my experience with the other nail shops that I have been to, I get my nails done at the same time when I get my pedi done. But whatever. After I got my pedi done and the guy who was doing my nails started helping another customer before he was done with me! I was just sitting there and confused. And I wait again. Tick tock tick tock. Not a favorite but good enough when I need to get my nails done. There are only two people I have do my nails here. There is one who I avoid and simply say I don't want her to do my nails. She stabbed me with the rotary tool used for under the nails to get the gunk out so deep I bled and my finger was sore for days. Then when I arrived I asked 3 times for the same service. But because they have such a severe language barrier here they apparently did not understand my request.
