I saw Tracy and she did a full set gel x for me and it was great. I came back for a fill and got someone else, and it was the worst my nails have ever looked. I was really sad because I'm new to the area and trying to find my go to and thought this could be it. Everyone was watching her do my nails, and they all let me leave like that. I had to go get them fixed somewhere else first thing the next morning. How annoying. read more

I made an appointment for a gel pedicure and a removal of an old dip manicure. I was in and out in an hour and 20min with a perfect pedi and bare fingernails just as I was hoping. My technician was lovely, and the vibes were just you would expect a nail salon to be. It won't be my "always" salon (as I use one in Bellevue by my office) but it is a great option if you're looking local in Renton. read more

I decided to treat myself to a mani and pedi! Walking in through the front door, I was greeted by the folks there and asked to pick a color. (That is usually the first question you get at most salons so not too different) I only wanted clear and french so no color for me! The place was nice and clean and when I sat down, I was provided water and a couple pieces of candy. The nail tech came over and asked me to look at the menu. After looking I decided on just the Spa pedicure would work for me with french shellac and a mani with clear polish. Overall the pedi was nice. I laughed a lot when they use the foot scrubber. Man do I have ticklish feet. The nail tech also did the french and painted on the polish with a nail brush. Usually they put on the white and then remove what is not needed. I haven't seen that on in a while. Skills! Once my pedi was over, they moved me to the chair to finish the manicure. Overall, it was nice and my nails looked great. My toes are still ready to show! read more

I think you're better off making an appointment than walking in. They get quite busy especially towards the end of the week. read more

I scheduled an appointment for my girlfriend today at 1:10pm , then they called back and said she has to be there at 12:55pm , just for her to be seated around 1:30pm. While she was getting her nails done , all you can hear are the workers trash talking her and the other customers in Vietnamese to each other. Extremely unprofessional and childish establishment. Other people understand and know how to speak Vietnamese too. My girlfriend was not happy with the experience because they made her feel uncomfortable and not welcomed. How are you supposed to spend money with a business and feel good about it if the workers are trash talking you and everyone else around you in another language? Very disrespectful and disappointing to say the least.. We will never be coming back here , and if you plan on spending money on self care , you're better off doing it somewhere else other than this place. No matter how "good" the quality is here.. it's not worth the disrespect. read more

Sent my girlfriend to get a mani and pedi and the pedicure is horrible! The clean up work is lazy and they didn't put any lotion on her feet at the end of the service. They also insulted her regarding the condition of her feet while performing the service! THAT IS WHY WE CAME TO THE NAIL SALON!!!!! So, I basically paid for a $60 polish job. Tracy was fantastic! She took her time and made sure everything was how I wanted it. She did beautiful work! I also appreciate the ease with making an online appointment. One thing that's good to know is cash is preferred. There's an ATM onsite but there are still fees associated with that. If you use card there is a 4% fee charge. My experience with Tracy is always excellent. She takes great care to do a quality job every time. My issue is with the business. When promotions are run, there are NO notifications on the website, except via Facebook. We are also not told when they end. I came in today with the assumption that 20% discount on Tuesday would be honored (as it has been for the last several months) but was advised it was over. Not everyone is on FB, so why not put it on your website where people go to book an appt? It is very disappointing to miss out on promotions because e know nothing about them. Please communicate your promotions to gain good business. read more

Tbh I would give them 0 stars, I went here to get a pedicure and full facial waxing. First off the lady who was doing both my husband and I's pedicure was not gentle at all but we were okay with that. But when she was done with my pedicure we headed into the waxing room and she waxed my face and the wax was not cooled down and too hot, normally when I get my face waxed I've never had someone just rip it off my face they normally hold my face down first and than rip it off but she just ripped it off and it tore off a piece of my skin which pissed me off sooo bad I called my husband in there because I wanted to hit the lady so bad. So my husband came in and he said "is everything okay?" I said no look at my face? She ripped my skin off. She didn't even give me a discount nothing I paid full price. And now I have a permanent scar of my face because of her negligence. So now we're in the process of talking with lawyers who deal with Salon negligence because this was the worst I've ever been to. Stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Mind you we paid about $150 all together smh. read more

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nail salon to frequent. I decided to give The Herbal Nail Spa a try and I'm SO glad that I did! I walked-in around early afternoon and luckily it wasn't too busy! The salon was very clean and has a cute aesthetic! I was able to see Susan for my classic manicure - the sweetest, hype queen! I wish I had 1/2 the energy she does! I also saw Vanessa for my signature pedicure and it was one of the best foot/leg massages that I've had in years! A few disclaimers: I watched the nail techs to my left and right. They are TALENTED. I don't know if it's because I was a walk in but I feel like they assigned a nail tech in training to me. A nail tech stood over her shoulder for a good part of the time she prepped my nails telling her to fix it (at least that's what I think she said like you missed a spot, and there and there). She took phone calls and got so distracted that she cut my ring finger nail bed...it didn't bleed a lot but it was enough to change towels and disinfect the area to stop the bleeding. The color itself was lovely, and I should have stopped there but they offered a free design. What I'll say is a square shape and coffin shape probably need different designs. The nail techs next to me were practicing and coincidentally chose the exact same design , so when I saw the end results I couldn't even fake a smile. Separate from the design selection, I think it's unique looking and can even be compared to kintsugi, but it isn't what I asked for or expected. Now, for other customers there was praise and photos taken. For me, there was silence which was telling. Another nail tech stepped in and the final results you see are actually the corrected work and thank goodness cause I almost cried. I decided to pay in full instead of asking for a discount but I almost expected an offer. No offer came. I think it's a bad idea to have new nail techs practice on people, especially when you're asking for reviews at the end of each session. Again, the disclaimers are: The other nail techs are fantastic This one was likely in training The design is fine, when I don't think about what I requested. Am I happy with the results? I'm not unhappy with it, but that's really saying something, isn't it? I don't know if I'll ever return. read more

Which is hard on her I'm sure -- but the cleanliness that day wasn't the best and seeing that made me feel icky I didn't say anything because I didn't want to give her a hard time. But also my skin was a bit more irritated from getting my wax done by her after that day. So she might have just been a less experienced waxer. Other than that, no complaints thus far with them.

As a mom who works full time, it's hard to get in those self care appointments on days off while having to care for a child. Gim is more than okay with me bringing my daughter to my appointments, which I appreciate more than she knows. She has her own little chair set up next to me with her iPad/snack desk and occasionally walks around saying hi to other lash artists. And as soon as my appointment is over she knows it's sticker time. Gim knows my daughter loves stickers, and now she keeps some on hand in the salon just for her. The team at The Glam Space is not only good at what they do, but also very thoughtful in every aspect. I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with my lashes!

That was my *last* appointment with them. **NOTE: I have reviewed the businesses response to my post and it's incorrect. My skin does redden easily (I'm a redhead) but it doesn't exempt it from hair removal. Plus - if skin sensitivity was an issue, wouldn't / shouldn't their tech have said something to me since they're sending me home w/hairs still visible? Wouldn't my facialist have said something by now (she hasn't). I've been seeing her every two weeks for 10 years. And I've had my brows waxed for 30+ years. It IS possible to do it correctly.......

It was very easy to schedule an appointment using Vagaro. Her times met my needs and was able to get in quickly. Her office is inside her family's dental practice. Such a cute space. Very clean and great Covid precautions. Getting a wax is very close and personal but I immediately felt comfortable with her. Easy to talk to and it was all painless. Will return to Amrita.
