I've been going to Christine for over a year now for sugaring and facials, it's an appointment that I always look forward to. From seamless appointment booking through text all the way to the service, I can't recommend Lady Lam enough. Christine is very talented at her craft, she thoroughly explains the process of her services and products and you can tell she puts extreme care in the work she does. In the past I tried a few salons to get my Brazilian wax but none of them felt comfortable. My first experience at Lady Lam was so comfortable, Christine made sure I was well situated, was gentle and also distracted me with her wonderful presence. She is a wonderful listener and her studio space is well appointed. I also have for a couple facials with her and they were so relaxing! The prices for all of her services are very reasonable for the service that lasts for a long while. You will need to book with her well in advance (month + recommended) because she is in high demand. She takes her time and her technique shows in the quality of her work, customer service and friendliness... it is no wonder at all why she is so difficult to get a routine visit with her. I have been going to Christine for almost a whole year now and I'm still very satisfied with her work! Lashes: I am addicted! Christine makes my lashes flawless! I always get the volume lashes (which is 3 lashes put on an individual real lash). She makes my lashes look full and long without looking fake. I always get compliments on my lashes and most people don't even know it's extensions. My lashes look great in pictures. My eyes never get irritated from it. The lashes look like real lashes and they curl up nicely so you don't need to curl it. My lashes still look good a month after (if you take good care of them). Booking the first appointment: I believe her site says to call. She is very busy so you'll prob always reach her voicemail. I left her a voicemail with all of my information on how I wanted to book an appointment, when I was free, which lashes I wanted, etc. She responded in a timely manner and sent me all of the information I needed to prepare for my first appointment. The consultation: She was very informative. Told me about the aftercare. Asked what I wanted my lashes to look like; first time, I got round eyes but now I do cat eyes (longer lashes on the outer part of my eyes). She has many different lash lengths to choose from and helps you choose the best length. Getting the lashes on: Does not hurt at all! You get to lay on a comfortable little bed for 1-2hours with calm music in the background. She always offers to tuck you under a blanket. Sometimes Christine chats with me, not in a way like she's just trying to get tip, she isn't overly chatty. She's super sweet. During my lash appointments, I always fall asleep and when I wake up, my lashes are beautiful! First, she puts tape on your bottom lashes. Then she applies the lashes. She always checks and rechecks to make sure she's not missing any lashes. When she's done, she fans it (to get rid of any glue fumes, so your eyes won't burn when you open them), sprays what feels like a setting spray and makes sure no lashes are stuck to your bottom lash. Then you can open your eyes to look at your lashes. Booking refill appointments: After getting them done for the first time (in 2015), she was very informative on when refills should be done or how I can just let them fall off or book an appointment to take them off. She recommends getting refills every 3-4 weeks. She never pressured me into booking a refill appointment. I always book my refills in advance because she gets booked up quick. She's always very helpful with booking; I am a full-time student so each qtr my schedule changes, I tell her what days and times I can do and she looks in her calendar and tells me all of my options. I can always set-up appointments with her via text too. The week of the refill appointment, she sends a reminder text. Getting refills: She always remembers what I like (size and shape) so I never have to remind her. I go a few minutes early and most times she takes me in early and we get started right off the bat. Tips: -ALWAYS book at least a month (if not more) in advance to get an appointment time that works for you. -Always come on time or earlier! If you come late, you're just losing out on precious minutes that could've been used to put on my lash extensions! And she has a policy that if you come a certain of minutes late, you lose out on that appointment. -if you absolutely need to cancel/reschedule, give LOTS of notice because that's just rude. I always recommend Christine to anyone looking to get their lashes done because I always walk out satisfied. People think it costs a lot but it's worth it. I've seen people pay less for lashes elsewhere and they were not happy with their lashes. Get your lashes done by Christine and you'll never want to quit! read more

LOVE Lady Lam!!!!! I called last week wanting to get in this week to get eyelash extensions. She was booked solid! I was disappointed but she took my number and told me she would call if anything opened up. I didn't think she actually would, I thought she was just being polite. But she DID! Christine is AWESOME! Her business is super close to me that I don't have to travel or drive far. I have done lash extensions for awhile now and I love the fact that she is very patient and very friendly to her clients. She makes sure that you leave that place with no regrets and disappointments. The glue she uses does not irritate my eyes after she tells me to slowly open them up. Some other places I've gone the glue is super strong that whenever I open them up I literally get teary eyed and I have to close them for a few minutes till it subsides. She is flexible but at the same time she gets booked really quick. She was very thorough and helpful with the information and walked me through the steps. She had a great picture book of all her extensions that I found very helpful. The consultation before the appointment was very helpful and I knew from that moment on I was in good hands. So my service entailed a removal and then a new set. PAINLESS!!! although my first set (not done by Lady Lam) had been glued on pretty hard.. she removed them with ease and no pain on my end. I feel asleep and awoke to the most beautiful, naturally looking, long luscious eyelashes!!! TWO SNAPS AND AMEN!!! she gave me what I had originally wanted when I set out for extensions. Lady Lam aka Christine Lam is sweet, patient , diligent, professional and is extremely knowledgeable in her craft. She's precise, in her treatment and will not do any thing, less/more then what is needed. She takes time to council you in a custom treatment to fit your taste, and a look that would work best for you and your life style. She has a small office that is personable, soothing, comfortable and very relaxing. She is easy to talk to and a nothing less then a joy to visit with while having the procedure done. Love Christine!! She is friendly, professional and always answers all my questions with patience. She has a very gentle touch and the ambience is very relaxing. Soft music is always playing and the bed is comfortable as well. She always asks if I need a pillow under my knees and offers the blanket. I normally hate the maintenence of beauty services, but I faithfully come in for refills every 3 weeks. For me the cost is worth it and I really trust Christine. I LOVE having these lashes! I forgot to mention that it took about 3 sessions to get my lashes to the perfect length/shape because I wasn't sure what I wanted. I unfortunately had a very strange experience with her. She texted me to confirm an appointment while I was at work. I was unable to respond at the time. She then texted me within 24 hours that she had canceled my appointment even though it was still more than a day away. I was still at work but tried to text and call her back immediately and she wouldn't respond. I was disappointed because I had waited months for that appointment. BEST WAXING!!! I have been seeing Christine for almost 2 years and no matter how far away I move from her, I will never see another esthetician. I always get a brazilian and if you've never had one... trust me, it is no easy thing! Christine makes this process as quick and painless as possible and doesn't miss a single hair. It's also about $20 cheaper than what most others charge for a brazilian. So not only is the actual service great, but SO IS CHRISTINE! I love that woman! She gives me a little stuffed animal that I can squeeze the life out during the wax :) She also finds the perfect way to explain what she's doing, what's coming next, and have casual conversations with you.
