From seamless appointment booking through text all the way to the service, I can't recommend Lady Lam enough. Christine is very talented at her craft, she thoroughly explains the process of her services and products and you can tell she puts extreme care in the work she does. In the past I tried a few salons to get my Brazilian wax but none of them felt comfortable. My first experience at Lady Lam was so comfortable, Christine made sure I was well situated, was gentle and also distracted me with her wonderful presence. She is a wonderful listener and her studio space is well appointed. I also have for a couple facials with her and they were so relaxing! It's pretty easy to find, and there's a reception and your lash tech will be phoned that you have arrived. Also if your eyes burn or you're in any pain, possibly the glue is high fume, but the pain is not on their part. You're probably in need of a different glue. As someone who has gone to multiple lash techs, this one meets all standards. Also when you're getting your nails done is it annoying the ladies talk in a different language? I don't expect my lash tech to talk to me for the whole 2 hours, there is nice music to listen to, and I had Nhi so I didn't mind any of them conversing, my eyes are closed after all. They were mostly discussing the lashes anyways. Their discount was 50% off during this time and I don't need a groupon voucher or anything, 80 for a VOLUME full set is a steal, I'm not a cheap skate. It felt very unprofessional, so I thought maybe I should try a studio next. I am so glad I found Studio Velle!! April did my lashes, and though her previous appt ran a bit long (that girl is BOOKED!), I didn't have to wait too long. And honestly, the wait is worth it. I appreciated that they accept "foreign" fills and didn't charge me for a full set (like other salons do). I told April what I wanted, slight cat eye and somewhere between hybrid and volume and wow she blew me away. I accidentally fell asleep but it was great because when I woke up, she was basically done! I could feel how thorough she was to ensure I had layers of lashes. It's been 5/6 days so far and literally only 1 lash has fallen out; this is unheard of from my other lash techs. I truly think I could trust anyone at this salon, they care so much, it's palpable!
