The absolute worst nails EVER. Seriously I've been to a beauty college and they've done way better. They are uneven, lumpy, misshapen, she acted like she was afraid of using enough acrylic, is it expensive? The shops in Renton literally cannot do nails. I was desperate, otherwise I would not have step foot in there, and I won't EVER again! I don't care how desperate I am. My nails look like trash! She didn't follow any directions or instructions. Why should I even have to coach her in the first place? It was literally the color of the nail that saved it. But the quality and detail was HORRIBLE. At this point, just close! I'm so emotional of my nails, I can't even post pictures they are so bad. But best believe I took some pictures! I should've known better when I walked into an empty salon. I came in without an appointment and was immediately taken care of. Julie first met with me to ask about what I was wanting. I wanted to have Mickey Mouse theme tips. I showed her a couple photos of what I was wanting. She didn't hesitate and said it would be no problem. She introduced to me to Nancy who is the person who did my manicure and the art. Both ladies were super-nice and helpful. Nancy was professional, quick and highly detailed. She took good care when cutting my cuticles and shaping my nails. I hardly write reviews but I'm really disappointed, after not coming here for a few years, I decided to try them again because my other place was super busy. I am told right away that credit machine doesn't work so now I have to go get cash after and come back and pay. Okay things happen. First taking off my nail polish, she grind top of my nails so much rather use remover and foil I'm used too that they are so thin and flimsy- it's nothing like my normal nail is, also cut them a bit to short and filing was rough. Then to boot she did not have dip stuff that worked - she said it worked last week? At this point I'm forced to do shellac. It was clear she then could not find the shellac color that I had picked out and what I got I'm not even sure is really the color. She asked me if I wanted another coat which I had to tell her yes - it was obvious it was needed. And I really needed one more after that honestly. My nails and cuticles are mediocre and they actually feel sore. I bit my tongue and very reluctantly went and got more cash, as I did not have enough to pay $55 which is super overcharging for what I got rather than a discount considering. The lady was nice, but I will never go back. My nails are ruined. I am so upset read more

This place used to be my go to place because it was so close and convenient for me. I haven't gone here for awhile but I was desperate! The place I prefer to go to was booked up. Walked in here and it was dead. I stopped coming here because their Pedicures have gone down hill. The entire time I was there, no one else was. The service was rushed and only took 20 minutes top! Super fast massage and the polish wasn't put on all the way to the cuticle. The owner is a nice lady but this place needs help. Not sure how they pay for this place to be in business. I love this place because they are always so happy to see me. They reward regulars with prompt service and warm welcomes. In other words, they take good care of you ...as any good neighborhood business should. I guess I'm old fashioned, I love that her daughter hangs around, learning a bit about how hard her mother works instead of hanging out at home in front of the television. The work is professional, the massages are EXCELLENT and the waxing is good. For the price, it doesn't get much better, especially since you can usually walk in. I guess I'm one of those who would argue if you want the red carpet rolled out, you should be looking for something besides a neighborhood nail parlor in a strip mall..and be ready to pay top dollar. read more

What a bummer. I have gotten my nails done here a few times before. But today will be the last time. My nails look terrible. When the tech started to clip my nails when a rusted old pair of toenail trimmers I said "ouch!" And the nail tech laughed!!! She thought it was funny?! So I asked her politely to be more gentle. She wasn't. I should have just paid for my pedicure and left then, but I only have a babysitter once a week and would not have time to go somewhere else. So I stayed. My fault. I have gel polish all over my cuticles; there are bulbous spots in others. There is obvious spots and bubbles under some layers, with what looks like an uneven surface under the polish. The nail tech made an excuse that some of the polishes didn't work well, but she said the nails looked good. I was so dissatisfied and disappointed. I am going to have to go somewhere else to have the polish filed off. When I went to pay, she kept the change as a tip without asking me. When she knew I wasn't happy. I had to ask for my change. I usually tip 30% at least for nail services, but not when I am going to have to go pay somewhere else to fix my nails. I won't be back here again, and I don't recommend it at all. read more

I will never return here and advise anyone thinking to, DO NOT! Not only is it dirty and unsanitary but it's just not worth the money. I received a pedicure and when I put shoes on 2 hours later, it ruined my nails. I don't have time to go back so I decided to fix it myself at home. I literally could not get the polish off, it was on so thick (hence why it got ruined after 2 hours of drying) clearly it was super old polish as well. I had to peel it off with my finger nail when I realized the remover wasn't going to work. Such a waste of money. The whole place smelled like some kind of food that was not very appealing and it was just dirty! So many better places to go. I will never return. Disgusting. read more

Lady that did my nails didn't speak any English at all. I told her not to cut them , she did. I told her when she was filing what little nail I had left that it hurt! She said ," no it's okay". Uh , no it's not okay. Now I have a cut on my finger and my nails are really short. I paid for a manicure as well and only had about a minute massage that didn't feel good at all. She was rushing and there was no one waiting. that's the part I look forward to the most. My gel nails had tons of bubbles in them as well. Super disappointed Other girl was on her phone in her chair the whole time. The other lady ( I think owner) was really nice and she translated everything. It was my first time and unfortunately I won't be returning. If I'm going to pay for a service I expect to get what I want. I came here for a quick eye brow waxing. The lady was nice but never asked what I liked just went to town on me. From previous experiences this is usually OK and means that the person has experience and does a good job, but not here. She practically tore out every hair leaving the thinnest brows I ever had and I'm blond so there even thin er at first glance, Not only did she thin me out when I got to the car I realized they were uneven and there was a small chunk missing out of my right one, which pretty much made it look like I had a scar there or something. I had considered getting my nails done here at some point but I changed my mind after that. It has been a month and I haven't done a thing to them. They are just now looking acceptable. I came in and had cheap shellac on my nails and asked for nail polish to be removed on 5 of my fingers. Owner said it will cost $5. When I went to pay, she changed the cost and said it's $10. I was still okay with paying it even though her words wasn't accurate. I then handed her my card and she said if I pay with card, it will be $1 transaction charge. This place is terrible and is only there to scam their customers. As a business, if you give customers a price, then you need to stick to it. Not just change it and double charge the customer and then go and add an extra miscellaneous $1 transaction charge which should have been waived since the owner mis-quoted me. No. Her daughter is an annoying. I come here to relax. Not to entertain your brat. Sorry if it seems harsh but it is VERY annoying and unprofessional. Last time I was there it was freezing cold. I know times are hard, but turn your heat up! The owner is nice enough, but rushes you as soon as someone else comes in, usually regulars, and you don't get quality. I asked for a new set overlay, and she argued with me for 10 minutes saying I didn't need one! Um, I am pretty sure I know how long it's been since I had a full set, and with splitting and separating, I want to avoid a fungus! Any GOOD nail tech would suggest it, plus more money for them! Duh! They are usually lazy however, and like to slap acrylic over your nails, file and go, and not do any hard work and full inspection of your nails for cracks and such. And when I DO point it out, they say, "That's ok, I fix for you." Fix equals, nail glue that gets stuck to my finger and theirs, and globs of acrylic. I was adamant because I didn't want that! So finally, once she was done going back and forth with me, my nails were RIPPED off quickly instead of soaked properly! I kinda wanted to save my nails and not make them extra thin! And when I said ow, she giggled and tapped my hand! Wtf!? Aaaaand, to make matters worse, I have splitting, separating, and a crack already!!! The whole point of a new set was to get rid of this!!! Also, my polish chipped and peeled a week later! And I did no dishes! I made my husband do them in a point to conserve these crappy nails, and lo and behold, chipping! She also shaped them weird! They are different sizes and globs of hardened acrylic are all over the nails, also altering the shape! My pedicure, done at the same time my nails were being ripped off, SUCKED! My feet are still dry, if not DRYER as a result! I left sore too, because the lady beat my legs to death! I should've learned my lesson last time when she wouldn't make her daughter have a seat... I hate to seem like a b****, but I am being completely honest! I don't save aside my time and hard earned money for crap. BACK to #1 Nail Pro I go!!!!! read more

I have been a customer (friend/family) of Hosanna Nails for some 12 years now! I never thought to write a review until my sister recently said she saw some negative reviews on Hosanna, so I thought it my duty to give my girl Julie a shout-out! Julie and her crew have always been the most gracious and respectful people to my wife and I; Julie is very professional and at the top of her craft and is so sweet and kind. She is a hard working business woman who surprised me on how she stayed in business during the 2008 recession, owning your own business is not easy, but she is a survivor. So despite my wife I moving into a new neighborhood a little farther away we will never move from Hosanna's care of our hands and feet. Over the years my wife has developed dementia and Julie and Nancy are so nice and patient with her, answering the same question no matter how many times she ask. I really appreciate Julie, her husband John and watching their children grew into such wonderful persons, going to her shop has been a special part of our life that we look forward to doing often. And the bonus is that our hands and feet always feel and look great! read more

Either they're hating their job or they're not really a pleasant worker. They don't clean your nails thoroughly and always in a hurry. It's not relaxing. Been here 4x and still the same experience. Today 8.18.18 will be my last. I'll go find somewhere else. read more

Been here a couple of times and am definitely going back! Best Mani/Pedi's I've ever had! Place is clean and neat and doesn't reek of chemicals, the staff is super friendly and NEVER make you feel like they are talking about you in their own language. The Pedicure massage is wonderful and so relaxing. Been to many other places and won't go back for one reason or another, but this place I Like!!! Also they are very attentive to, and careful with, clients with diabetes/neuropathy. My mother and some family friends have these issues and they all swear by Julie and her staff that this is the ONLY place to go!!! read more

I have a good Vietnamese relationship with the manager and she has always been a sweet heart squeezing me in when it's busy with nails. I have gotten eyelash extension fills a few times from her and my eyelashes become extinct because of the poor quality and poor service. I would say this place is great if it stayed with its genre. read more

Hosanna Nails is my favorite mani pedi salon because they are extremely clean, careful with my tender feet, and the pedicures seem to last longer than other places. The operators are all very friendly, especially Julie, the owner, and Mai, who has been here a long time. I've also had great experience with waxes here, and eyelash extensions. From the outside there is nothing to distinguish Hosanna from other strip mall salons, but give them a try, they really are great. read more

This place was horrible. My first visit, every single acrylic nail was extremely bumpy and noticeable along with many being thin enough at the tips to bend. Not even 24hours and I had two nails break. So I went in again the next morning. They were so much WORSE than what they were. They are so unbelievably thin and I kept telling Julie that I just want them smoothed out not any thinner. I am now able to bend all my nails. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more
