When you're new to a state there is this major difficulty finding your salon for everything. And the right nail salon journey started about a year ago for me here in WA and I have finally found it, not only is this place super inviting, well maintained the staff is friendly and welcoming. I was greeted at the door, welcomed in as a walk in and immediately taken care of by the best nail tech I could have asked for. She knew how to maintain the builder gel journey that have been on, for natural healthy nails, she provided me with even more knowledge on the how I should lean toward keeping my nails stronger while growing and not to mention how friendly and accommodating she way while working on my nails. I was given some water, tissues for my waterworks lol, and a delicious snack. Even got a bit more than I asked for turns out she's a great listener as well. The salon is nice and clean, but my nails had to be redone because Nancy did it incorrect. After having her redo them, the ombré still isn't right and close up looks bad with brush strokes!. I won't return to this spa. Especially paying $80 for a full set and ombré. Hanna who did my pedicure was fantastic! AND they want a tip of 35%. Ha! I only tipped Nancy, my nail tech because she was clearly unhappy I didn't like her first attempt and then they proceeded to speak with each other, I assume about me, and numerous times she let out a huge, HUH, with shrugged shoulders. I have been coming here for a few years now, even back when it was Hollywood Nails. I love the relaxing, friendly, and casual vibe. The only real downside has been that every time I have found a person I really like, they have eventually left. Not sure why they seem to have a high turnover rate. But, for the past year I have been seeing Jay and she is now my go-to girl. She does a great job, is very talented, and personable! In the beginning I started out with dipping powder manicures because I knew they lasted well and wasn't sure of my other options. Then I was introduced to Builder Gel, and more recently Hybrid Gel. I am very happy that Jay introduced me to Hybrid Gel, and I think I'm going to stick with it! Also, I have to say Hana does a great job at pedicures! I can't believe I discovered this place thanks to Yelp. They were BUSY when I walked in, so I had to return that same day, but they took me as soon as I got back. I ended up getting a gel manicure and a deluxe gel manicure. I walked out absolutely thrilled with the results. What I didn't realize is that this place also offers head spas. I've never had one before, but the lady doing my pedicure suggested I give it a try! So, I scheduled one for the next day. OMG, I'm so glad I decided to have the head spa. Ivy, who performed the service, was amazing, and the experience was so good that I can't say enough about it. I'm forever a fan and might even plan a day to enjoy both the mani-pedi and head spa. The place is clean, and the vibe is wonderful; all the technicians are super friendly and helpful. Additionally, which is a plus, my appointments were on time both times. read more

I had both a pedicure and a manicure, done by two different ladies. I was satisfied with the pedicurist -- the result was decent and acceptable. However, I was very disappointed with the manicure. First of all, the manicurist seemed to be in a big rush. From the moment she started trimming my nails, she was fast and rough. I was genuinely afraid she might cut into my skin (and this is not normal -- I get my nails done often, and this was the first time I've encountered someone so careless). She did ask whether I preferred long or short nails. I said I like short nails, and mine were already quite short. But she went ahead and aggressively trimmed them even shorter without asking whether the length was okay. She cut them down to the point they were right against the nail bed. When she was trimming the cuticles, she was just as quick and rough, almost cutting me several times. I'm not a picky or unreasonable customer, but I couldn't help letting out a few gasps and asking her to be more careful. The whole manicure process was so rushed that later, in sunlight, I noticed the polish was uneven, with small bubbles, and the edges hadn't been cleaned properly. The nail shape was also unattractive. Because she had cut my nails so short, when it came time to file and smooth the edges, she could barely use the file without filing the skin -- it was painful, and I had to ask her to stop. I politely discussed it with her. Although she was polite in response, her reasoning was that I had said I liked short nails. But I usually tell nail technicians that I like short nails, and professionals typically confirm what length is appropriate -- not just aggressively cut them down without asking, especially so close to the nail bed. The nail shape ended up looking terrible. Finally, when checking out, I was told there would be a 4% credit card surcharge -- and that this was the rule at all nail salons. This was the first time I'd ever heard of such a rule. Even though I was very unhappy with the service, I still tipped 20%. read more

Took over two hours, technician attempted to do chrome and for some reason it didn't work. She then pulled up designs on my phone, suggested we do one which I agreed was cute. While my pedicure looks fine. The service could definitely be improved. From the time I walked in the "spa" and was not greeted for several minutes - even though 3 technicians were behind the front desk having their own conversation to the end - it was never more than OK. My pedicure was scheduled with a friend and while we were seated next to each other the technicians carried on their own, very animated conversation, while they completed our service. It felt as if we were intruding on THEIR TIME. They even walked away to include someone else in their discussion at one point (maybe twice, I can't remember) but more than once they were laughing so hard they stopped massaging. I won't be back. The service I paid for and the service I received were two very different things. read more

I can't believe I haven't found this hidden little gem until now! Place is very clean, staff is professional, and prices are very reasonable. I took my daughter and her friend today for a mani pedi and they have specials for kids 10 and under. We even added a little nail art without breaking the bank. Great bright sign outside prompted me come in with my little for a couple manicures. I did the shellac manicure and my daughter had a simple kids manicure. We both received wonderful attentive care. They were patient while we took our time to choose just the right shades and were gentle and meticulous. I'm sad to review this place so low. i've been coming here for years since before it was Herbal and went through their rennovation and ownership change. In previous experiences it's become not only my staple but I've brought many friends and family members here. Recently, within this month Oct. 2025 I have had two appointments for manicures. My first appointment was Gel X which sadly was not the best quality. I had issues from the beginning with that set, the nails were improperly angled and I was getting them caught on everything. I returned for another manicure, getting the gel x removed, and just wanted a simple set of builder gel. This set was also incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I had them for maybe a week and a day or so and they have now all peeled off. I've never had this happen before. I am extremely upset by not only the abysmal quality of the manicures, but the appointments themselves have been very late. I had to wait for over 30 min for my first appointment for gel x. And for my second appointment, less than a week later, they were running late yet again, and I had to wait again. I paid both times over 70$ for each of these appointments. Neither one of them had a massage, or even lotion applied after the nails were done. Which is unusual, in previous experiences, there is a massage, lotion and parafin wax treatment. It felt very rushed and like we were being ripped from the full experience. My friend who I went to get the second set done with, had gel x done, and her nails were done much better, she hasnt had any peeling issues, lifting, or other quality issues I have been experiencing. I saw the same tech both times. I understand that she is learning, and newer but I cant continue to extend my patience and am extremely disappointed to have wasted 140$ and several hours of my time getting these services done only to have both of them fail. In quality, time wise, and overall experience. Sadly, I might need to start looking for a new salon, I had mentioned to the owner I was unhappy with the wait times when I had a specific appointment, and the issues with my nails. He said that I could always "come back in or call" so tomorrow I will be calling tomorrow to discuss my issues. Depending on the outcome it will effect if I change my review to a 1 star. I really am sad that this has tainted my view of this place. I used to love it. read more

This place cured my nail anxiety! For the first time in years, I was able to relax at my nail appointment and nearly fall asleep. I arrived at 11:30AM and was greeted warmly by Leslie. She was amazing through and through! She made sure my water was warm enough for me and gave me the best massage I have ever received. I got the most PERFECT gel pedicure with white French tips. Leslie slayeeed! This place felt so luxurious and pampering, without breaking the bank. Definitely my go-to spot from now on. I cannot wait to try all their other services. read more

I've been going to the Bellevue location a little over a year, also when it was a different name. I haven't ever had a bad experience until recently. Usually I will go out of my way to book Marky to do my nails. Yesterday I went in and Linda did my fill, she took almost an hour to do just a fill, and kept shaving off skin way past my cuticle, almost every other finger has a deep cut around my nail, because she was using the nail drill tip too close to my skin. I even told her it was hurting and it started bleeding. She also just didn't do a good job with the actual fill, the nail paint is uneven and thick and theres bubbles under it. She also then filed off the nail paint on the side of my nails. I showed the lady at the counter at check out that i was bleeding and she clipped my skin and I did receive a $5 discount which I appreciate but this is a bad job overall and I came out of the spa incredibly in pain in my fingers. It's also a major hygiene concern because my blood got on nail drill tool tip. read more
