Recently went in with my daughter for a pedicure. Service was nice and toes look pretty good. They did ask why I don't come that often any more and where I had gotten my nails done. Last year I felt overcharged without communication on my nails and had stopped going. Thought maybe it was just the nail cost. Each pedicure was $90 which was not communicated again this time. We did get deluxe and shellac but prices don't match brochure or website. We won't be back which is sad because I have taken my now grown girls here for pedicures for years. Absolutely one of the worst nail salon experiences I've ever had. I told them from the beginning that I needed to be finished within 1 1/2 hours because I had somewhere I needed to be. Instead, I was there for more than 2 hours and ended up late for my appointment. The pedicure itself was fine, but my full set shellac manicure with Melissa was incredibly frustrating. She was extremely slow and repeatedly interrupted me with "I know, I know" before I could even finish explaining what I wanted. If you're going to say you know, then listen and get it right. She ended up having to redo every nail on my right hand because the gel started warping. She was also so rough around my cuticles with the nail file that she made one of my fingers bleed. What made it worse was that she knew I was pressed for time, yet she continued chit-chatting with the owner and asking me personal questions instead of focusing on finishing my nails. Eventually, Lisa, the owner, had to take over because I was clearly upset. I also felt very uncomfortable with the staff speaking in Vietnamese around me throughout the visit in a way that made me feel like I was being talked about. Whether that was actually happening or not, it was unprofessional and added to an already unpleasant experience. After keeping me there for over 2 hours, redoing my nails, making my finger bleed, and causing me to be late, they still charged me $60 for the pedicure, $65 for the full set shellac manicure, AND a credit card fee. Not even the slightest discount or adjustment was offered. There were no customers when I walked in, and only one other customer came in during the entire time I was there. After my experience, I'm not surprised. I will never return to Unique Nails and would not recommend this salon based on the service I received. read more

DONT GO TO THIS NAIL SHOP! UPDATE: Im writing the review again because i got my nails done 3 days ago and tip of my finger was hurting so bad. When i looked close to it , i saw this. And it still HURTS and warm.Look how it is red too. This has to be an INFECTION. Also when i called the salon on the day when i just got my nails done, because my nail shape was all wrong and this isnt how ombre should look like, The woman who picked up my phone started getting mad for no reason and kept cutting my words and she said thats how it should look like. NEVER APOLOGIZED. She said 'thats how it should look like, if you dont like it, just go to another salon to fix ur nails or something' I was like WOW. I put some photos how my nails looked after the service. Expensive, I paid $60 for simple pedicure manicure. Not gel for gel pedi- mani. She did not soak my nails in water- directly removed my cuticles by scraping scratching with cuticle trimmer. Did not put top coat in my toe nails and nails surface was not clean. When I showed her there is chunk of nail polish, instead of cleaning my nail with nail paint remover and putting a new layer. She simply placed third layer in top of previous two layers. I would not recommend this place. read more

What a great spot with a friendly and welcoming vibe. Also the price point. Pay cash and you save a bit. $35 for a pedicure that comes with exfoliation, hot stone massage and of course the foot jacuzzi in the massage chair! Can't go wrong. Did I wait a bit longer than I wanted to? Yes. No big deal. Self care is not about rushing. They have tons of nail color choices and when I was there a few locals were too. I could tell from the banter. The manager was kind, the television was on with a cool video of a woman building a fish pond in Vietnam. My feet are happy! They didn't ry to upsell me on anything. Reasonable prices, good service is what I ask for. And I was not injured in the process, lol. But seriously, some nail places are scary and I have been cut before. Not here, sweet, kind ladies doing their best. I had been here in December with a group of coworkers and they took us all in without any attitude or rudenss and we didn't have an appointment. Terrible service I scheduled an appointment with them. When I went in about 15 minutes later while I'm sitting there the lady got up and started taking another customer that had just walked in, IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING MY SET. The whole time she was rushing and not listening to me when I told her that wasn't what I had asked for. She applied oil to my hands all while having powder from filing the other ladies nails and when I told her she threw my hand. Disgusting. All I wanted was French tip set. I paid $60 for this unbelievable. They were all very rude and clearly talking bad about me giving me dirty looks. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AND I CAN RELATE ALOT TO MANY OTHER REVIEWS ON HERE. She cut my nails really weirdly, looks like round triangles, did not remove my cuticles or dead skin at all, literally scrubbed for 15 seconds and called it a day. The polish was applied in a very thin coat so it's all streaky. I paid 40 and I had to go to another place and get it redone and now I have to wait for my nails to grow because she cut them so badly. read more

I love getting my nails done but I'm still trying to find my go to spot. Unique Nail & Spa is just one of the many naiI salons I've tried. About 6 months ago I reserved space for a group of 6 - it was for three couples. However everyone wanted pedicures (including my boyfriend) and I just wanted a manicure. When we got in - everyone in my group got seated right away. It was about a 10 min wait for me which was not bad. I picked out my color (I always do shellac) and then got seated close to everyone else. That was nice because I was still able to socialize. They did an a-ok job on my nails. They weren't perfectly coated on the ends and a little was attached to my skin. Because of this the edges frayed a little faster than normal. I also thought the color I chose would have been a little less see through but that is not the salons fault. When we were finished I asked my boyfriend how his pedicure went. He said that they let his feet soak in the water, quickly clipped his toenails and then gave him a quick massage. They also didn't ask him for a color (he was just going to get a clear coat). It took no longer than 10 mins. He was next to other people and saw them getting their nails filed, cuticles clipped, nails painted and legs scrubbed. None of which he received. Paid 60 bucks and they were hovering over me looking at my tip amount before they painted my nails. I paid ten and guess that's not enough for a whole nail? The paint chipped before I even got to change for the wedding and had to redo my own nails before the ceremony. Such money wasted!! I use to be a regular here but I started to get fed up with the enormous amount of loud talking between coworkers. Multiple times the ladies that would do my nails would be talking extremely loud with each other and would actually stop working on my nails to get up and go chit chat with other people. Sometimes they would even be texting or on their phone while working on my nails. So I became just fed up with the unprofessionalism and started seeking new nail places. Today I decided to give them one last chance but I know for sure I won't be back. They of course were still chatty today but it was fine I tried to overlook it because at least today the lady doing my nails tried sparking conversation with me about the holidays. So she got my whole fill done within 25 minutes because she didn't put much effort into it at all. She was rushing and also too busy looking at her coworkers while talking that she wasn't even looking at my nails and left 2 of my top coats uneven. It was whatever I was just trying to get out of there at this point. When all was done I paid $40 cash and the lady only gives me back $5. I asked if they raised the price to $35 because fills have always been $30 and she said no. So I told her she didn't give me the correct change back. So she sends another lady to get my other $5 and before she hands it to me she asks me "you're not gonna tip her?" Like wow I was so blown away. She took it upon herself to take the tip out of what I gave her instead of asking if I wanted to tip. Common sense is to give the exact change back and then receive the tip. Not take it out yourself. I've been coming here for years. I am very picky with my nails. A few times I have gone elsewhere because of time restraints or because I was out of town, and I quickly had to come back here, to have them fixed! These ladies always do a great job, and shape my nails just how I like them (not too sharp, since I have a little one)! I normally get a shellac for my toes, and a dip for my hands, and they always last at least a month. No chips. No breaks. They even do a really great job with my ingrown big toe nails.. they always magically get rid of them, which is something I can never do on my own! The service here is comical. I was unfortunately greeted by a rude group of nail techs who grumbled in their native language for five minutes before eventually greeting me. Maybe it was my fault, I came in a hoody that day. And so I was paired with a nail tech who barely spoke two words to me and frowned the entire time. I ended up having to shape my own nails she was unable to get them even. In fact it was not until I pulled out the keys to my Mercedes that she showed any interest and kindness at all. At the end of my nail appointment her comment was,"I stayed 30 minutes late for you." I have one tip share with this Nail tech. It is better to turn away a client and get off 30 minutes early than too accept one and run 30 minutes late and provide an uncomfortable, limp service to a first time client. read more

I have been a customer for many years. Best to call ahead but they also fit many walk-Ins in. They do a spectacular mani and pedi, with Lisa leading a talented team like a quiet Drill Sargeant! Never really had any huge issues with this place, it is my normal "go to" place for pedicures or to get my nails done. They do a nice job and I always leave with my nails looking great. The problem here is the women that work here are not super friendly. They ALWAYS talk to eachother in Vietnamese and you can't help but think they're talking about you. I just think it's rude when you're running a business to completely ignore the customer and be speaking in another language to your coworkers the entire time. (Also doesn't reak of nail polish remover and has no dusty acrylic leftovers.) Once you walk in you notice how much space they have between the pedicure stations and the nail technician's stations. When you're getting your nails done you're sitting in a modern looking comfy white,round Ikea chair (where the back of the chair doesn't go all the way up to your head) They give great pedis!!! There is one employee who isn't up to par as the rest, she doesn't do your pedi in the same order and she seems very forgetful. ALL other employees are the best! They are quick efficient and seriously always smiling. I notice they all do this thing when are buffing nails while standing up and they getsevery part of your nail smooth and shiny. Beyond shocked that the staff is clueless when it comes to doing nails. I was in there when the owner Lisa was not there (which is very rare, and now I see why) the rest of the staff are like 2 year olds without supervision. If you like to be blatantly talked about in another language right in front of you..... GREAT place to be, they are rude, disrespectful, and I have been there and heard them lie an seen many disappointed people leave there before, because they customers when they would say something the "staff" would give some BS story and expect the costumer to believe it.
