I have been here three times. And all three times the owner has been in a mood and hovering. This salon is also oddly obsessed with stiletto nails. I have asked for almond and oven shape and have gotten stiletto every single time. They offer a one week period to fix any issues that come up, but will give a ton of attitude and ask what you did to mess it up or claim they don't see the issue. Twice I have gotten my nails done and in less than 12 hours have had the tips chip. read more

I've been trying for years to find a great nail place and I think I finally did! Everyone here has taken great care of me. They listen and really check to make sure I'm getting what I want the work done is top notch. I get dip powder on my natural nails with designs. My nails are so healthy and strong! I had been on a nail salon hunt for a while, but I finally found one that seemed promising. However, my experience at this salon was far from satisfactory. One of the ladies who worked there was particularly rude and dismissive. When I mentioned that I wanted to change my nail color to a nude shade, instead of showing me any examples of the color I was looking for she showed me a completely different look. Feeling frustrated, I decided to go with an ombré French tip instead (it was my second choice.) However, the lady who did my nails had a top coat that was the exact same color I had initially requested. I quickly changed it to the desired shade. When I was about to pay the lady taking my card, she made an uncalled-for remark about me being low-income. When I asked her what she had said, she laughed it off and said, "Oh, I just joking." When clearly she wasn't. I'm not a stupid person. Sad to say another nail salon bites the dust. read more

They tell you the cost of your nails before they start which is actually pretty amazing. Sophia and her team are so nice and talented. Their forte is definitely almond shaped nails and they do a great job. My dip nails grow out unchipped and still look decent for a 3 week grow out. Now that I've been here 3x times, I recommend this nail place. read more

I really like the owner and how clean the salon is, but they have one technician who seems adverse to giving foot massages when paid for. She will rub my calves the entire time when she should be rubbing my feet, its frustrating. I don't say anything because the owner makes a big deal out of it which can be embarrassing. read more

Great job doing the nails but once we payed they charged us more then they needed to me and my aunt got 2 pedicures and each was 35$ so 2 of those would be 70 and they charged us 146$ this is unbelivable. read more

I work in Auburn and live in Olympia. Traffic was awful, so I stopped in to Sophia's Nails to get a fill. I was greeted by a pleasant woman who asked if I had an appointment (they were busy) I didn't. No problem, they sat me down and handed me colors to choose from. Soon after I sat down with Kelly. She was so sweet. She did a wonderful job. I am so picky, and I left very happy. First I'm a stylist with my hands in water and hair all day long - my nails are a must I use them as a tool :) I'm picky, I'm in the industry. It's my treat to myself - i don't like to be rushed in and out - Sophia takes her time making sure every edge is smooth - I've never been able to go more than two weeks between fills but with Sophia's nails (on my hand ) I've been able to go almost 4 weeks!! (Not great for her.. but my time ) I will add once I picked a color I ended up not liking at all 3 fingers had been painted, no complaint she was totally fine switching it for me (we added sparkles ) On to pedicures- BEST EVER !! different choices of fragrances sets so your soaking water,massage lotion, mask , and relaxing muscle oil all have the same fragrance that you get to pick :) Instruments are opened from a sterilized packet in front of you every time The salon is always clean - read more

My mom and I came in here today for pedicures and I came in for a full set with dip. Let me tell you, I'm very picky when it comes to my nails (as well as my mom). This place, hands down, was the best experience I had a nail salon yet. Sophia was very inviting and sweet and kept checking in to make sure we were doing good. The rest of the staff was excellent and very detailed oriented, especially Kelly. The place as a whole is very clean and adorable! I recommend Sophie's nails. I'm from out of town SFV visiting my niece wedding don't know the area looked up nails and Sophie's nails came up called and got an appointment immediately the two ladies that worked on my beat up toes: Tracy one that did my manicure Tracy she was amazing I like the natural look and she did amazing gel nail looking very natural, pedicure was good I feel the price was a little high and the tech didn't do all what was on the pedi menu but overall it looks good. I went in for gel-x 2 days ago and I was shocked at how horrible they were. I'm okay with imperfect, but these were oversized, glued onto my skin over my nail bed and extremely thick with the gel bond adhesive that was sticky and coming out the sides. They used the Beetles brand gel bond, which is literally from Amazon. They were lifted from the bond being so thick, so my hair was getting caught under every single nail. I just spent 2.5 hours trying to soak them off and the bond still won't come off - but it did wear my nail beds down to the skin. I have no nails left and it's so painful. I have had gel-x done many times and this is NOT normal. USE CAUTION when going here for this service, or any. read more

So many colors to choose from ! Mani / pedi package options are outta this world. Service was friendly and staff engaged in conversation with clients. I let her know that I had called her on Saturday and kindly fact checked her. Thirdly, less than 7 days from my original appointment, 2 of my gel-x tips popped off nice and clean. You can see and feel the layer of gel on my natural nail. I'm not sure what part she skipped or if it really just a result of poor quality supplies. Overall, if you're looking for gel-x, make sure they're using the Apres system. It has never failed me, and i've had sets last over 4 weeks with no problems.
