I have this thing about applying polish to up to the very sides of my nails. Linh did that without being told. I didn't get the name of the tech who did my pedicure but that was mediocre, could be the fact that I had chosen the lesser valued service.. the massage was barely there, quick and simple. The energy is calm and relaxing and appears to be clean. I appreciate that they appear to have their stainless tools in a sterilized packaging that gives me the impression that it's been cleaned. I'm not sure if they follow the same practice with the pumice foot scrubber, nail filer and buffer etc. and when I say same practice I mean, each client getting their own brand new sets. My second visit, unfortunately, wasnt a wow factor. I was a walk-in and the gal who asked me what service I wanted was actively working on a client, looking like she's working on the massage and she paused (mind you glove is still on) and went to their tablet to probably check on their schedule; then proceeded to massage the client with her gloves still. Today's visit entails a regular polish collagen manicure and regular polish organic pedicure. Pedicure: The tech one who did my pedicure wrapped up with a client and attended to me, however, I don't believe she switched gloves.. beside that, the pedicure was fine, polish looks Manicure: This is where the displeasure lays. Pictures attached, this is from today's visit. I had already mentioned after the first coat about touching up in the sides, thinking that would be a hint. Didn't think I had to look at each nail and call out every one of them.. pictured are evident on the lack of quality of work. Note to owners.. I got the wrong plumful polish.. something with a plum in its title.. on the samples it's a lot darker, perhaps 3 coats worth.. but I believe they did 2 coats which is the norm and the color is no where as dark as the sample. So l, I would suggest the sample cards reflect that actual finish color and if your standard is 2 coats, then that's what it should look like.

She was looking forward to the massage chair and a manicure and pedicure. This trip was ruined by the fact the owners 5 year old child was running amok down the establishment and screaming at everyone. My wife mentioned it to her manicurist and was told: "Don't say anything. It is the owner's child." It later transpired the child's Grandparents were there who were making things worse by encouraging afore mentioned child to carry on causing mayhem. This totally ruined what should have been a nice relaxing atmosphere and my wife has already told me she is going to find somewhere else. Definitely not a place to go if you want to relax while you get your nails done.

The spa part of the pedi was nice, but the water wasn't warm. I asked a couple of times to put warmer water and it just never really got warmer, so I just dealt with it. The rest of the spa part was lovely though. The polish wasn't great. It got on my sandals and bled into my toes pretty good; it's just thick and I assume it'll probably chip pretty quickly. The mani was okay. Shellac had the same issue, bled into my fingers. My nails also were over filed and some are crooked. The polish on my fingers is done better than my toes at least. Anyway, overall, not good not bad. I don't get my nails done very often, but next time I'll probably try somewhere different. **updated to add: less than 24 hours later, my shellac already chopped. And I thought those were going to last longer than my regular polish on my toes. Guess I was wrong.

Halfway through the service, the nail technician told me that if I wanted regular nail polish (not gel or shellac), the price would be $25 because the basic manicure supposedly didn't include polish. This pricing change was only mentioned in the middle of the appointment. If regular polish isn't included, that should be clearly stated before the service begins. Changing the price midway is unprofessional and misleading. This isn't about the extra $5, it's about how genuine , transparent and honest they are. Customers shouldn't need to go through this experience or feeling cheated. You wanted that extra $5 because it was a basic manicure plus tip. Truly disappointed by this experience.
