I've been coming to this place for over 10 years and I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. They switched up their menu every couple years so that keeps things interesting and everything is fairly good for the price I'm paying. I respect the selection of drinks, and the decor and ambience that they put together. The staff has always been friendly and the food always comes out fairly quickly. Okay. First things first. Kenny is The Bomb. He is such a delightful person and we were fortunate to have him as our server. Best server I've had in recent memory. This is my third time to Eureka! My visit has always been a good one, this time it was exceptional. Kenny offered helpful explanations and tips regarding both the drink and the food menu. The 'cocktail of the month' was so fabulous that my aunt and I each ordered it twice! I can't recall the name but it was served with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a cinnamon stick. Stir gently, sip and enjoy. For lunch, I ordered the Fresno Fig burger, subbing havarti cheese instead of goat cheese. Great choice!! I only eat cow 0-1 times per year and this burger delivered on flavor. The sweet potato fries were a nice addition. We sat in the patio section which offers a relaxed ambiance and wasn't too chilly. It's bit smaller inside and outside has more room for our group of 6. I was too involved in conversation and forgot to take pics, so you'll just have to trust me. Came with a big party (12 people) after a special event. When we first walked in and asked if they could accommodate our party, the first server who greeted us looked annoyed since they had closed the outside patio and said there wasn't enough room inside for us to sit together but the server who came right after that helped us throughout the night was super nice and accommodating! She helped us move tables to seat us all. There was only 4 other people dining there so there were lots of empty tables. The server answered all of our questions and made us all feel welcomed. I would go again because of her. I didn't get her name but she was a younger petite girl with light brown/blonde hair and a bubbly personality. This is already one of my favorite place for burgers but they still manage to delight you more each time. I brought my team here for a recognition lunch and they reserved the tables immediately as I waited for everyone to arrive. Because I am a regular I was hoping to have a burger they now only serve on the weekend. The waiter asked the cooks and made the exception for me and more of my team also with a couple requests outside of the daily menu. Now this is what a burger should be and a place to satisfy your carnivore craving. The 28 Day Dry-Aged Bone Marrow Burger is thick and rich. I like the taste of beef, and this delivered. The hamburger is carrot-fed Angus with added bone marrow - yum! I ordered it medium, and it was still appropriately pink inside. The seasoning had a mild garlic flavor, accentuated by the right amount of salt. The tomato had a mild hint of vinegar. All the flavors melded well. The bun held up well and it didn't fall apart. The American Cheeseburger is a classic. Its thinner than the 28 Day burger and has a smoky hint of flavor - like charred broiled. On this one the medium preparation didn't have any pink inside. All the fixings inside were fresh and crispy. Let's talk pickles........ Their pickles taste homemade - zingy and great. The Cole slaw has a mayo based dressing with cilantro and the dressing was used sparingly. The sweet potato fries were okay. The best part was the packet of honey to drizzle over the fries. The Mac & Cheese balls had a crunchy shell and the inside had a kick of heat. The buttermilk dip was a refreshing contract and made for an interesting side dish. Service was horrible from the time we walked in. The team seemed scattered and not sure of how to handle the group we arrived with. We regularly attend Eureka in Redlands and love both service and drinks- but tonight the team seemed they didn't want to help nor attend to the group we brought in. At least that was what we were treated with upon arrival. We were waited on and had our first round and when the second round arrived there was a miscommunication between what we had ordered and what arrived at the table- the waitress seemed upset we were displeased with what we were saying. Trying to correct us that we ordered a specific way when we simply were trying to explain what we had originally ordered. At that point, I didn't even care to be much more of a bother than it already seemed we were to the crew that night. It sucked having to get up to leave because we usually have a great time there. But seems that the shift we arrived at wasn't having much of a good night. I manage myself and the customer service and vibes that were over looked and dismissed at first, soon became very prevalent throughout the stay. Sad to say this visit put a bad taste in my mouth. We came last Sunday for lunch and our waitress was very disappointing. It was my husband's last day in town for the week so we wanted to spend sometime before he left. Sweet and tangy. It really complimented the brussel sprouts. 3. Spinach and artichoke dip. It was good, I got nothing against it. I'm just not a spinach and artichoke dip kinda guy. 4. Truffle cheese fries. These are amazing!!! Truffle really comes thru. Crisp, but pillowy soft on the inside. They were just oh so good. Salty, hot and slightly greasy; the trifecta of fries foods. 5. Tour of Kentucky flight. I didn't realize how many different types of whiskey eureka has!!! Didn't want to go full baller status, which they had. But I went with the $22 flight which included 4 different types of Kentucky whiskey. I really enjoyed the 4 roses single barrel whiskey. It was pleasing to the palate. But all the other whiskeys were also really good. Smooth but each one tasted different. I was gonna give this place 4 stars. This was my second time visiting this restaurant. I'm happy to upgrade my review to five stars with this service. Gaby was fantastic. She was very attentive from the moment we sat at her table. We went on a Friday morning right as they open. We got our favorite tuna appetizer, which did not disappoint. My husband insisted on giving the cauliflower another try and this time it was grilled rather than fried. I stand by my original thought on this cauliflower, however, no one will like every single item on any menu so I don't fall the restaurant for this. I had to get the same burger though to see if the first one's amazingness was a fluke. That is just simply one killer burger. Next time I'll have to try another one. I had a different experience at Eureka Burger this time, but still and amazing one. I went to pickup my order and as soon as soon as I walked in the door, people were meeting me to help me. The host asked me if I wanted water although I had only been waiting for a moment, which was very nice and thoughtful. Within a couple minutes, a waiter brought my food to me and wished me a good night. When I got home to eat the food, my family member noticed that her order was wrong. We decided to go back and get it fixed because she has Celiac Disease (can't eat gluten products) and couldn't eat the food that was in place of her food. When I walked back into Eureka, the chef immediately came out and asked if I was (name on order). He already knew the issue and apologized for the mistake. He went back to get the correct food item and came out with it AND gave me two $10 promo cards for the inconvenience. Although they may have messed up on the order, they owned their mistake, and fixed the issue. The food was absolutely incredible and the mistake only cost my family about 10 minutes. This place has always had amazing food, a nice feel, friendly people, and is beautifully decorated inside the restaurant. Eureka has a few list of burgers, but my favorite one on that list which no one in town has it. No one! Their bone marrow burger is so so delicious. It's so greasy because of the marrow.
