Ribeye, side smashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, branzino, sourdough bread and spread
    Regina C.

We had a really good dinner at Esther's Kitchen. The ribeye was a standout, and the branzino was also tasty, though it could have used a little more salt. We loved the bread and dip selection--especially the simple butter with sea salt and olive oil, which was honestly so good. We also tried the anchovy butter, burrata, Calabrian chickpea spread, and smashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and everything made for a great shared meal. The atmosphere felt lively and the food was thoughtful, comforting, and easy to enjoy family-style. Definitely a place I'd return to--just with a pinch more seasoning on the branzino next time.

You can't do a Vegas restaurant query on any search engine without coming upon Esther's Kitchen, the award-winning spot in the burgeoning Arts District -- but this is not because of paid ads, it's because this restaurant is just flat-out fantastic, and should not be missed. Esther's is equally admired for brunch and dinner, but I came in for an evening meal and was seated in a good spot at the bar. The decor is a mix of homeyness and industrial chic, with calm lighting, lively music, and very comfortable seating. It's a fairly big place with a lot of tables, but everything has been well-spaced, so the busyness of the restaurant creates a festive mood without feeling crowded. The staff is moving fast, but they always greet you with a smile and a friendly demeanor, so you really feel comfortable settling in for the evening. My bartender/server was Tyler, who is 100% on his game mixing drinks, taking food orders, and chatting up the customers. Another very good egg in a town with lots of great servers. He whipped up a very tasty martini with blue cheese olives, and made sure to make menu suggestions to this first-timer. I began with an order of the Baked Mussels in Nduja Butter, topped with breadcrumbs. I'd seen photos online, and I was very excited to try this -- but my imagination couldn't hold a candle to the reality of this dish. The mussels themselves were plump and briny and fresh as can be, while the nduja-infused butter was savory and spicy and altogether crave-inducing. It would be easy to eat plate after plate after plate of these mussels all day long. Just wonderful. For my main I went with the Calabrian Pork Sausage, served atop lentils that have been stewed with onions and tomatoes. The large ring of sausage (I'm told the serving averages out at a full pound) is expertly chargrilled and boasts a complex flavor profile combining herbs, spice and just the right amount of fat. The accompanying lentils are a hoot -- quite wonderfully cooked to mimic campfire baked beans, their sweet, tomatoey taste profile being the perfect foil for the charred sausage, evoking the most upscale expression imaginable of franks & beans. This is just a winner, though the portion is enormous and really should be shared. I very much wanted dessert, as I imagine their Basque Cheesecake or Butterscotch Budino would be fantastic, but I just didn't have room for another bite. That said, I will be back, and I will be trying other things (including that dessert), and right now I'm multi-tasking: Yelping while searching flights to come back soon for dinner, or brunch, or both with a nap in-between. Don't miss this place. And definitely get the mussels!!!

As good as advertised. Truly an amazing culinary experience. The vibe is so different with its location in Old Vegas. The bar and the restaurant are both quite welcoming. The food was spectacular delicious and tasty. Must start with pizza and the sourdough bread. It was so good. The ment is just amazing. Go and enjoy.

Esther's Kitchen is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Las Vegas, and after visiting a couple of times, I've been very pleased on both occasions. It's a great option if you want excellent food away from the Strip and right in the heart of the Arts District. One of the things I love about the location is that there are several great breweries nearby, making it easy to grab a drink before dinner and then take a short, safe walk over to the restaurant. The service has been great every time, and the food has been stellar. Everything we've ordered has been delicious, and the cocktails are excellent too. My only advice: be careful not to over-order! The portions and food are so good that you'll want to finish everything, but if you're staying in Vegas, taking leftovers back to your hotel isn't always practical. And honestly, the food is so good that I hate to see any of it go to waste! Definitely a place I'll keep coming back to whenever I'm in Las Vegas. Highly recommended!

Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I had high hopes for this place but sadly I think my standards were too high. First and foremost, we came to this place on a Las Vegas First Friday, which definitely contributed to our bad vibe. The streets were busy and people were definitely under the influence and starring directly at us outside from the window while we were dining. Parking was horrendous on this night so we highly do not recommend making a reservation here on the First Friday of the month. However, it is easy to make a reservation via OpenTable. Service was great! We let our server know we were waiting on one more person and they were kind enough to continuously check in on us. Our cocktails were delicious. I wish I made a note of what we ordered but they were pretty and good. Food was meh. The sourdough bread we ordered with burrata was hard. The rigatoni I shared with someone was cold by the time we ate it and the rigatoni pasta was pretty hard. I read that this dish had almonds but I was not expecting almonds with every single bite. All in all, this tasted like cold, hard, crunchy pasta. My friend liked her pasta alla chitarra which was delicious but she said it also arrived cold. For the price we paid, I am not pleased with our food. I will give this place the benefit of the doubt and claim maybe it was an off day for them so maybe I would try this place again some other day.

Dropped by for brunch with girls. It was a very busy morning and we waited for almost 40 min for food. But it is well worth the wait. I got the proper omelette. Kids got the cheese pizza and proper breakfasts. I got the americano. My Americano was great. It comes with its own little creamer (almond milk). The cheese pizza was perfect with sourdough base. My proper omelet was indeed proper. The sourdough bread was grilled with smoky flavor. My daughter also enjoyed her proper breakfasts. Service was great. It was a packed morning and he did what he could to keep us entertained. Restaurant is well decorated. Cozy and sophisticated. Also super clean. We all had a great time!

Went here for lunch the other day to celebrate my friend's birthday. Apparently, she likes this place as much as I do. Can't say that I ordered something new though. We opted for the bread with the three different butters - basil ricotta, cambozola, & burrata. My friend ordered the Proper breakfast and I went with my favorite Radiatore al Limon with chicken added to it. The service was quick, the ambiance is wonderful, and the food was as good as I expected it to be. I have to say, I did notice the portion size has gotten smaller, but at least it was the same quality I've come to expect. This isn't just a tourist restaurant, locals love this place too. Reservations are always filled-up. Just go early and be prepared to wait. It's worth it.

If I could give this place more stars I would. Everything was perfect at our brunch service. The hospitality was top of the line. Our waitress was so attentive and made some great suggestions. We started with 4 dips for the bread and they were all amazing. A round of drinks also. The spaghetti and meatball were so tasty. I had the Diavola spicy pizza and the crust was to die for. The topping gave it just enough spice. Wow! My wife ordered the meatball sandwich. FYI it is a smashed meatball. It was a mess of a sandwich but the flavors worked well together. Our friends the French dip and the Chitarra Casio E Pepe. They were very good also. This place has such a cool vibe with a full bar. A lounge is coming soon to the upstairs area. Definite 10/10 or better. Check out James_eats_Vegas on Instagram and Tik Tok for full review and many more.

Food: BEST PIZZA AND PASTA IN VEGAS! I didn't think a classic spaghetti dish could taste sooo goood. It had a strong tomato and garlic taste while being so creamy and delicious. The pasta was also thick and perfectly al dente just how I like it. Their sourdough pizza is literally to die for. They wood-fired oven, giving their crust pizza the perfect char while still being soft and fluffy. We also had the brunch menu so we decided to try their blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes and omg... it was DELICIOUS. You can taste the right amount of cheese and lemon without being too overbearing. Texture is also similar to japanese fluffy pancakes. Chantilly cream and blueberry syrup was very decadent and not too sweet. Such quality and fresh ingredients I love this place so much I could cry. Service: It seems like its always busy here so I wouldn't expect the speediest service but still proficient enough to make us feel well cared for. Definitely make a reservation on opentable. Ambiance: Upscale dining but not too fancy. Perfect place to bring to bring visitors to impress them with the food and quality dining experience. Also love the rustic barnyard aesthetic.

My husband and I went here twice while in Las Vegas off a recommendation from our Uber driver and were very impressed (ergo going twice!). First of all, the place is beautiful and very buzzy. We sat at the bar both times (first time because it was the only seating available, second by choice). Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Logan was working the bar the first time and was great with walking us through the menu with recommendations. It was fast but not overbearing or pushy by any means. We tried a bunch of things off the menu. The house sourdough bread was good, not great. You can choose from a number of spreads to accompany it and we got the fegatini (chicken liver, foie gras, saba, and strawberry) and it came with butter. We got the Italian chopped salad both times (salumi + provolone + chili + tomatoes + garbanzo + olives). At $19 it was a bit expensive for a salad but it was large and filling. We really enjoyed this. We got the Zucca pasta (fennel sausage sugo + roasted tomatoes + rabe + pecorino). Also a bit pricy at $29 but a large portion and absolutely delicious. We would definitely reorder this. The Ricotta Gnudi (beets + truffle + golden balsamic butter + pistachio pesto) however, was a paltry size for $28 and wasn't very good - we didn't even finish this one. Anyway, some hits and some misses, but definitely a spot I would recommend if you're looking for something that's not on the strip. I'd personally go back and reorder the chopped and zucca for sure.

    Meatballs amazingly delicious

Our server, Kanesah, was incredibly kind and accommodating. One of our dishes came topped with chives, which we don't care for, and she took it back without any hesitation and brought out a fresh order right away. The atmosphere and decorative touches throughout the restaurant are beautiful and elegant. The food was outstanding--the meatballs were excellent, and the pastas were spot on, made with clean, high-quality ingredients. We'd definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Esther's Kitchen has finally been ticked off of my Vegas must-visit list! Getting a dinner reservation here is difficult, but I lucked out on a Sunday brunch- booked two weeks in advance. Our party of 5 celebrated my birthday a little early, and it couldn't have gone better. Firstly, the restaurant is very cute! Open kitchen, beautiful bar, and an eclectic decor to match their rotating, experimental menu. Interesting pairings all around. These chefs have fun building fresh and flavorful plates. We started with the sourdough and three dips. The basil dip and the burrata were tasty, but they had some interesting options from anchovies to bleu cheese. It was tough deciding, but well worth ordering! The loaf was fresh and flavorful, and I'm a sucker for a good sourdough. Pictures did not do Esther's justice, because each one of us was shocked at the portions! They are generous. My biscuits and gravy came with 4-5 biscuits and took me literally all day to finish! Well worth the price. The ingredients are very high quality and it comes through each bite! Service was fantastic. Regular visits, refills, and great cocktails. The staff knows whats up and how to keep a fun, relaxed vibe. They even offered to take group photos for us! The complimentary birthday dessert was definitely a bonus, and delicious. All in all, Esther's is a Las Vegas must. Dress it up or down, come for dinner or even brunch. It's a good time with fantastic, QUALITY food! A great balance of Instagramable, delicious, and fairly priced!

Before our trip to Vegas, my husband I did some research on amazing dining off the strip and Ester's Kitchen kept coming up. A seasonal Italian kitchen with great cocktails sounded right up our alley, so we made a reservation for lunch. It was on the arts district so nice area to walk around as well. There was some street parking a few blocks away that was actually free during lunchtime hours to encourage business. The joint was hopping inside. We were greeted and told our table would be ready in a few minutes. The interior was very aesthetically pleasing, lots of tables of various sizes and a large bar area. While waiting I saw Howie from the Backstreet Boys come into the restaurant! He also knows what's good. You could smell the amazing sourdough bread baking when you walk in the door, so we knew we were ordering that and also got the three choice of dips to go with it. We got burrata, fegatini, and a third I can't recall. I enjoyed all three. Definitely some flavor profiles I hadn't tried before. But it was fun to try some new dips. The sourdough was pure perfection, soft and warm inside with crunchy and flaky crust. It also came with a salted butter and olive oil. You can order a loaf to go which I recommend if you can. You gonna be thinking about the bread all day anyway. For the rest of our food we decided to share a couple thongs so ordered a salad, two sandwiches, and a pasta. There was so much on the menu that sounded good. First to arrive was the Garlic Oil Poached Tuna Salad. It was a mix of refreshing mixed greens, tomatoes, a nicely poached eggs, and pieces of tuna. I was thinking it was going to be a seared tuna, but it was cooked. Regardless it was well seasoned and tasted good. To me, the Chittara Cacio Pepe was the entree star. It's such a simple pasta topped with pecorino and peppercorns but when it's done right, wow. The pasta was clearly freshly made and the sauce was so creamy. Yum! The sandwiches came with some mixed greens and various potato chips including purple and sweet. The Garlic Roasted Turkey Sandwich was deli style turkey served on a sesame roll, topped with a slaw and parmesan frico. The Meatball Sub was also on sesame roll, topped with pomodoro, basil ricotta, and provolone. The meatball was a little different, shaped more like a sausage but similar flavor. The tomato sauce was excellent as expected. Of the two the meatball was my favorite, but both were solid. This was a first class meal and I highly recommend coming to Esters if you want to break away from the strip and okay to pay for a nicer lunch experience. You can taste the quality and honestly worth it to just stop in for the Sourdough bread alone! The service was also top notch, very attentive and prompt. We all agreed we wanted to come back next time we are in Vegas to try their dinner.

Ask the Community - Esther's Kitchen

Do they accept tap pay or apple pay?

They took our physical card and returned with a paper receipt, but we were also seated at the bar.

Do they have a kids menu?

I did not see one there nor were there any children there. Menu is basically pasta and flatbread both of which can appeal to children.

Can you eat at the bar?

Yes, your best bet is right at 5pm. After the seats are gone, it’s first come first served by checking in at the host stand. We have an auxiliary bar upstairs where you can just get drinks or wait for your seat or table.

Is there a private dining room for small parties?

I'd call into the restaurant as there was a staircase, but it was blocked off so your possibilities may be high

    What is the corkage fee?

25 but if you buy a bottle we waive a bottle

Is there really _only_ one vegan option? :-(

We can modify 12 items on the menu to be vegan. All our servers can walk you through the. menu and what changes are made to the dishes.

What are the gluten free options? And do you guard against cross-contamination (for those of us with celiacs)?

It's pretty sparse since they make their in-house sourdough bread and pasta. I remember they have a cauliflower all's romana with anchovies, chili, spices and garlic- just ask for no breadcrumbs

Would you recommend for this spot for a graduation dinner? I have only been for brunch

Absolutely! We had my sister's wedding dinner here and they were great with our group of about 10. Definitely add it to the notes when you make your reservation, and try to make it far in advance.

    Do you offer gluten free?

Esther's Kitchen downtown does have some gluten-free options :)

What is the average wait time to get any seating for dinner on weekends for walk-ins? I've given up on trying to get reservations as it's always booked?

i walked in at about 11am on a Saturday with 30 minutes wait time. can't speak for dinner though

    Is it kid friendly?

    Yes

Is there a trick to getting a brunch reservation? The website for rest keeps showing an error and I have called a few times but keep getting a voicemail which I did leave a message?

Great question! The trick is - you can set a same day reservation using the Resy app. Sometimes you can call too, but if they're busy (often), they might not get to the phone unfortunately. Good luck! Also... Al Solito Posto in Summerlin has a…

    Do you need reservation?

Our waitress was super friendly and really encouraged us to try some things because we really weren't sure about the menu. She was super attentive and we really appreciated that. The reason I'm giving this a three star review (and I feel bad doing so) is because I genuinely hated the drinks. Like viscerally hated. The menu really was a struggle as someone who's a gin drinker. There wasn't a lot on the menu which I'm often used to, but the drinks were either cloyingly sweet or incredibly tart and bitter. There seems to lack of balance and there were a lot of really weird flavors that really didn't seem to go together. Now I can't speak on every single drink on the menu, but I did try a couple that are either premixed or on tap and I really struggled with them. I was excited about the ginger drink, and I was given a taste of their homemade ginger beer, and it felt like it was going to burn a hole through my stomach. Which is typically not my reaction to anything gender flavored. I just think the balance of flavors are not quite right and so certain things overpowered other flavors. I ended up really not wanting anything on the menu because everything was so rum based and I really don't like rum, so they offered to make me a cocktail with some flavors that I liked. They told me they had passionfruit, which I was really excited about. It usually is a really nice combination of sweet but not too sweet and good fruity flavor. I had a passionfruit gin drink made, and it was absolutely gorgeous coming out. Unfortunately, what I didn't know was that the passionfruit that they have is on the very sour and tart side (contained by a staff member later), which has never been my experience with passionfruit in the past. One of the things that I told the waitress was that I really don't like sour. I like citrus but not something that is so overly sour that it tastes like I'm eating a warhead. And the drink that was made for me had both lemon and this really tart passionfruit to the point all I could taste was this awful sour flavor. I felt bad and drank it and was not about to ask it off the bill because they were so kind about everything. The drink ended up only being nine dollars and I genuinely wonder if they undercharged me, but I felt a lot better that that's all I paid for it. Aesthetically it was beautiful, but it tasted horrible. I tried my friends drink, which was a play on a margarita with Mezcal, and that was also incredibly bitter and sour. I'm not someone who needs disgustingly sweet drinks, hence me not liking rum, but I do need a balance of sweetness with the other flavors. My friend thought her drink was OK, but she said she wouldn't order it again. I would definitely give this location another shot if I could figure out a drink that would work, but it seems their drinks either are very sour or very sweet and I'm hoping that at some point they will be able to find a good balance between the two.

My absolute favorite bar of all time! 1000000000000000/10!!!…read more I could live at Dark Sister!!! It is my go to place to hang out with the girls on a night out! If I am in the arts district, I am at Dark Sister (if they're open... sometimes I'm there in the day and they are not open yet and I am sad. lol) It's moody, it's witchy, it's got all the Goth eclectic goodness! I love how it is decorated!!! It's giving dark academia, mixed with a séances, sprinkle in a little bit of dried flowers and top it with a tarot card. They have such a variety of seating, they have large loungey couches in the front, smaller couches with chairs and tables as you go inside, long and larger tables for larger groups in the back, a massive bar area with seating, as well as a gorgeous patio with bar seating as well as tables and loungey bench areas. It is comfy, cozy, and an amazing place to just chill and hang out. The music is always perfect. The lighting is the perfect dark dim. I have never felt more at home somewhere in my life. It is my happy place. It doesn't matter what I'm doing. If I go there it makes me happy! I absolutely love that they have a mocktail menu and that they rotate the drinks every season. I don't drink and also a lot of my friends don't either and their mocktail menu is a winner every single time, I've never had a drink there that I did not enjoy. Honestly, I would love if they had more mocktail options than they already do. I'm really glad that they added snacks!! Their snack tray is amazing I get it almost every time I'm there. The only thing I would like is for there to be more variety of snacks! I do love the chocolate covered espresso beans but somehow, I am the one that ends up finishing them and then I don't sleep... which is definitely a me problem but like... they're addictive man... we need something else chocolate, like, of course keep the chocolate covered espresso beans, but like maybe chocolate covered raisins or chocolate covered berries? If you guys added a charcuterie board... take our money!!! My friends, and I would never leave, Take all our money!! Like a witchy charcuterie board!! I absolutely love that they have an outdoor patio now!!! It is stunning! Being witchy in the fall is going to be amazing there!!! I've been going there since they opened and from the moment I walked in I was in love. I have watched as this bar has continued to grow, and it only gets better with age. I adore the staff, they are so sweet! They have always been nothing but kind and caring. If something is going down outside, they are locking us in and keeping us safe. I was there one time when there was a shooting going on outside and they immediately locked the doors until it was safe for us to leave. I appreciate how much they take safety seriously! I really love that every single time I go there it seems that they have added something new to make it an even more fun experience! They have a lot of really awesome places to take photos! Definitely cute place to have a girly witchy photo shoot! They do a lot of of events and classes, I haven't been able to go down for one of their events/classes yet, but I'm really dying to go take one of the crafty witchy classes! I love that they're not only a bar, but they're also trying to build community! Dark Sister is absolutely perfect. PERFECT. It is all I have ever wanted and more in a space. I will continue being a happy loyal customer for as long as we both shall live. Thank you, Dark Sister for existing... and making my life complete.

The outside patio was covered and had a 2nd bar out there which was very nice. Once we sat down, someone came over to let us know to order at the bar. Once we ordered, we got our drinks very quickly. I can't remember what I got, but 1 of my friends got the spicy drink that comes in a skull glass with 2 peppers to look like horns, loved the presentation! We had great service from the hostess to the bartender! There was a place across the way playing live music, so that was nice in the space. Not sure if we could hear music out there without it. I thought the prices were pretty average for a bar downtown. We also gave the photo booth a try inside and came away with 2 great strips. Great place to stop in for a drink!

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

I absolutely and I love with this hidden treasure and after my first visit here this year it is my favorite establishment in Las Vegas!!! I love a great tiki bar and am an avid pina colada/tiki cocktails lover. I also love rock n roll and am a vegetarian so when we decided to check it out for dinner I was very happy they had some vegetarian options for me!! The decor of this bar is an absolute dream and I am so so happy we were seated in the room with the shrunken heads. We were seated at the Sebastian Bach shrunken head table which is absolutely perfect because I love that guy!! Anyways, our server was incredible and super accommodating. There's a little hidden thing they have throughout the bar that I won't disclose on here to keep your eyes out for and it is so fun!! The drinks were all amazing, their shots are so good!! We have since moved away and the last two visits here were not good. This place used to be fun with good drinks back in the day. Now it's morphed into a tiki tourist trap. Tonight, our server wasn't at all friendly and the drinks were mostly just crushed ice. You couldn't even taste the rum because they were all so watered down. For around $14-$18 a drink, I expect better. Their "zombie" drink was a joke. No flavor at all (it used to be good years ago). Sadly, this will be our last visit here. With so many cool bars in Vegas, I'd rather go to one that appreciates our business. This place no longer does and it showed so tonight. BTW, I read that a new large Tiki bar will be opening soon in Vegas so will try that one out once it does. Maybe The Golden Tiki will up its game and revert back to what they used to be once it opens (and there is more competition). Two stars because it used to be great. Constantine, don't bother replying -- just fix this. Both you and your team can do better.

The atmosphere immediately took my wife and me back to our early adult years in the best possible way. The dim lighting, mellow crowd, and music all worked together perfectly, and somehow the playlist felt like it matched the crafted cocktails and overall vibe of the room. One of the things we appreciated most was being able to actually sit together and have a conversation without having to yell over loud music or a packed crowd. It felt relaxed, mature, and genuinely enjoyable--a breath of fresh air compared with so many bars that seem focused more on being loud than creating a good atmosphere. The cocktails were excellent, the bartenders were top-notch, and the entire experience felt thoughtful from beginning to end. If you're looking for a place with a mature vibe, great drinks, good music, and an atmosphere where you can actually enjoy the person you're with, Velveteen Rabbit is a must-visit.

There were a bunch of seating against the wall on the couches but they were all reserved. My friend and I ended up at the bar in the "standing room" which was fine! Their seasonal menu is Conspiracy Theory based. I from that menu and my drink was called the Moon Landing Hoax, which was recommended to me but pretty strong in my opinion. I will say that the aesthetic of the drink was super cool with the astronaut. My friend ordered from their regular menu. She enjoyed her Repo Espresso Martini and she would order that again! All in all, I still like this bar a lot! I would come back again.

The market price old fashioned was $295 due to the vintage old forester in it. The cheapest cocktail I saw was $38, the velvet moon, which my husband has had many times. He had it again, as his second cocktail, so that I would try it; it is so good. His first cocktail was the Passion's Serenade $45. What a cool idea and it was tasty. Most drinks were around $60. I took my time and ordered the Liberty's Torch. I had no idea they would bring the elements to the table and make it right in front of me! Wow! My second cocktail was the Maison de Luxe $70. Our friends had the velvet moon as well! And they had some sort of Mexican style drink like a cantarito which came with a little sombrero hat that they got to keep! I was impressed that they brought a second snack set for our friends who joined us a little late. I was glad I could eat everything and not have to share! Haha This place is so unique but very expensive. We asked for the check so we could get on to dinner and they surprised us with four gelatin shots! Thank you! We will be back.
