    Mushroom pizza burnt!
    Ricky S.

Visited LAVO Las Vegas with a group of 7 on a Monday night. Service: We had reservations, but the experience started off poorly. The host was very rude, which honestly set a negative tone right away and almost made us want to cancel. Thankfully, once we were seated, our waitress was nice and helpful throughout the meal, which helped improve the overall experience. Complimentary bread was provided for the table, but it wasn't anything special. Food: The burrata appetizer was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the eggplant that came with it. The burrata and arugula pizza was my personal favorite of the night. The penne pasta was also good. The tomahawk steak was decent and fun with the tableside garnish presentation. The seabass was just okay and didn't stand out. Unfortunately, the mushroom and shaved truffle pizza was not good at all -- we didn't realize until we took it home that the bottom of the pizza was completely burnt. Ambiance: The ambiance felt very typical Vegas -- dark lighting and loud music, which can be fun for a group dinner. However, we were seated in the back room away from everyone else, which felt a bit odd. The back room didn't have the same energy and wasn't as nice as the main dining area. Overall, there were some solid dishes and our waitress was great, but the rude host and uneven food quality made the experience a bit mixed.

Had such a fun time at LAVO Party Brunch in Las Vegas for a friend's birthday! Huge thank you to our VIP host Brandon for hooking us up with a noon party brunch... honestly perfect now that I'm in my 30s lol. A daytime party in Vegas just hits different. The whole vibe was great, with entertaining dancers and a lively atmosphere, and the service was on point the entire time. We all had an amazing time. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun, high-energy brunch experience!

Today was our first day in Las Vegas so after my friend Mat and I were done walking through the strip, we stopped at this resort, which is the palazzo and we decided to stop at the restaurant Lavo for dinner. After talking to the hostess I asked her if she had a dairy free noodle and a gluten-free noodle and they have both options available at this restaurant. For dinner this evening I decided to get the spaghetti with olive oil and marinara which is a dairy and an egg free noodle and my friend Mat decided to get the margarita pizza with a gluten-free crust we haven't gotten food yet, but we did get a complementary seasonal veggie platter from the shop and I did get my drink, which is the Velvet Petal. The ambience and decor reminds me of something really casual and upscale at the same time. The decor of the brick walls and lanterns, the flowing curtains, and the ambience lighting, makes the restaurant very romantic along with the fresh herbs and greenery. There is a lovely gentleman who came over with a tray of fresh, fruit, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and watermelon for our waters, and he placed the lemon slices from the tongs into our glasses. There is also another lovely lady who I believe is our server she brought me my cocktail. Her name is Brittney and she's outstanding. She's kind, attentive and charismatic in all the right ways! 10/10 Miss Lorena At the restroom was a peach and was very kind.

Made reservations for Lavo for a Wednesday evening and glad we did. There were multiple conventions in town and a line out the door of people hoping to get in. Once we checked in, our table was ready on time. A lovely lady in an amazing black dress seated us. They have a nice bar area, and a couple different seating areas. Generally the restaurant is lowly lighted, but somehow we ended up at a table with better lighting than many other tables - so we were very happy. They have limited Pepsi products - no Mountain Dew. Their specialty cocktails on menu can all be done as adult or nonalcoholic. They do have complimentary bread and vegetables. Their Fritto Misto was cooked perfectly. We of course had to get "The Meat Ball" - their monster 1 pound meatball. The Jumbo Shrimp Scampi was a healthy serving of 8 pieces and was prepared perfectly! The Reginette Seafood Alfredo has both sweet scallops and shrimp. I got it with a lobster tail - which was okay, but I would've been fine without the tail. The Alfred sauce was somehow a lighter preparation and not a heavy Alfredo. We ended the night with a Tiramisu, NY style Cheesecake and some sorbet. The server was lovely and the staff made our experience very nice. I would've definitely go back again!

Delizioso! First timers, met some from LV local friends for drinks and a bite after a show at the Sphere. Dinner, cocktails and service was fantastic. Our servers were very attentive. Hubby and I dined Italian, Aperol Spritz & LAVO-inis and pastas; Burrata Ravioli, Pappardelle Veal Bolognese (I could eat this everyday).

Five stars all the way for Lavo. From start to finish, everything was spot on! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and provided quality recommendations. I offered the LAVO-Lini cocktail per her recommendation and it was exactly as described: fruity, bright, and refreshing. We started with the garlic bread paired with basil pesto, marinara, and gorgonzola dolce. A simple starter, but done exceptionally well. For my main, I had the Brick Oven Salmon Oreganato and it was perfectly cooked with a flavorful garlic butter. One of the best salmon dishes I've had in a while! Overall, an exceptional experience at Lavo and I can't wait to return on my next Vegas trip.

I went for a birthday brunch at the Party Brunch on a Saturday, and it was definitely an experience. The patio has a $500 minimum, but you get a bar and a nice view of the Strip. Inside is a whole different vibe with a $1,000 minimum and up, a bigger DJ setup, and dancers who change into these super elaborate costumes throughout the afternoon. The menu is on the pricier side, so hitting the minimum really isn't hard. We tried the wagyu sliders, avocado croissant, calamari, shrimp cocktail and the benedict very good food. This is the kind of place where sharing with the table is the way to go so you can taste a little bit of everything. My random favorite part? The rainfall faucets in the bathroom. Seriously the coolest thing I've ever seen. FREE 3 hour parking for locals. Brunch opens inside at 1PM. Ladies get a free drink wristband until 2PM. I had a blast celebrating, but I probably won't be there too often unless it's for a special occasion

Did the brunch party here on a Saturday - reserved a table on the patio terrace area. The pros: DJ was awesome, weather was gorgeous, patio view is nice, and food is solid. The cons: people without table reservations on the patio were hovering over our table, crowding under our table umbrella, using our table to put down their drinks, and their personal items, uncomfortably close to our heads (I literally had someone that kept hitting the back of my chair/head), wasn't able to sit at our table comfortably bc they were blocking our chairs, no one was managing the crowd on the patio, service was slow and mediocre at best, we had to ask for several things throughout the meal, however the servers are very nice (the most helpful server was Jeffrey). Our pitchers were brought out without any cups, food we ordered were never brought to us, etc. We finally complained about the crowd being in our personal space and our server addressed it immediately which we really appreciated. The bathroom line gets long, it was faster to go to the hotel lobby and come back in than wait on the bathroom line. We enjoyed ourselves bc we were a group of friends, but for the price, we expected the service to be sharper, the food we ordered to actually arrive, and the patio to be managed better for the guests that paid $$$$ for a table.

I hadn't been to LAVO in a while and we thought, why not go for our friends birthday dinner! We arrived for our reservation and the host were very nice and welcoming. LAVO is truly a dinner place for all occasions. Once we were sat, our waitress didn't really come to us. We thought, maybe she is by herself and there was a bit of a dinner time rush. We noticed she was at least providing bread and waters to other tables. We got her attention and asked her if we too could start with bread and water and she told us they were all out of the bread... but can bring us water. She was gone for another 10 minutes. We then placed our order for food and drinks. We decided to share a little bit of everything, and honestly, the food quality was solid. Truly did not have any complaints and the portions were big. The four of us shared: - The Meatball - Caesar della Casa - Pappardelle Veal Bolognese - Penne alla Vodka - Bone-In Ribeye - Jumbo Asparagus Besides the service, everything else was good. I wouldn't say it is amazing for the price, but you are definitely paying for the experience and ambiance.

Just finished an amazing brunch at Lavo inside the Palazzo. We had a reservation for 10am when they opened and was seated as soon as we checked in. The decor is beautiful and relaxing. Service was outstanding. Our server Andrew was so attentive and made great recommendations. High quality food. The dishes that stood out were: oysters (max of 24 per table), meatball, alfredo pasta and tuna crudo. I really wanted to try the bluberry pancakes but I was so full. There will definitely be a next time.

Went with the girls for Sunday buffet brunch ($65 pp) and had so much fun & food. We got a choice of appetizers (truffle fries, oysters, salmon crudo, tuna tartare, salads (Caesar), for entrees, we ordered the mushroom truffle pizza 3/10, pomodoro pasta 8/10, and the penne alla vodka 4/10. And for dressert, we got different options to pick from the dessert cart and my favorite was the tiramisu. Our server was great and super helpful. Hostess was friendly and very accommodating. Ambiance was quiet, aesthetically pleasing and great for a Sunday brunch. Loved the interior, looked completely different from their Saturday brunch party scene.

Shared a few appetizers: - the meatball: this was very good, not sure why some reviews slam it down. Perhaps, too hyped? - burrata: this was tough for a burrata and wouldn't get again - eggplant parm: decent Branzino: seasoned so well with lemon slices in the middle. Top tier branzino dish. It didn't need the lemon butter sauce. NY cheesecake: classic and decent 20 layer chocolate cake: huge. While decadent, not as sweet as it looks. Strong peanut butter flavor in the cream.

Dessert plate - chocolate & peanut butter cake, cheesecake and deep fried Oreos.

I did a group dinner here recently and in the end, it went very well. When I got there, I found out our group of 20 was in the main dining room even though I had work with the sales manager (who was now on maternity leave) to be put on the outside patio. The hostess was rude to me and not very accommodating. Luckily the restaurant manager stepped in and made it happen. We had a wonderful table on the outside patio and our waitress and other staff were amazing. We had pre-arranged the food and everything was served family style. Everything was delicious. Antipasti: Margherita pizza Crispy fried calamari The meatball with whipped fresh ricotta - so tasty! Salad: Classic Caesar - I don't normally like Caesar salad but this was very good. The dressing was not too garlicy or anchovie-forward. Entree: Penne alla vodka - this was delicious Chicken parmigiano - very thin pieces of chicken with lots of cheese on top grilled branzino Center cut fillet - very tender beef, nicely cooked Sides: Steamed broccoli Mixed wild mushrooms - yum! Crispy Smashed Fingerling potatoes - so good! Dessert -these were the best part of the meal! chocolate & peanut butter cake - so many layers but not super heavy cheesecake Deep fried Oreos - delicious and I don't live Oreos Vanilla gelato - so good to dip the Oreos in Overall a wonderful meal! So happy the restaurant manager stepped in and accommodated us.

We were so lucky that we did get a reservation because the food and experience was great! When we arrived, we were informed that we had booked our reservation for the wrong date, but they helped us get a table which we really appreciated. Once seated, our server greeted us and he was super friendly and high energy. What we really appreciated was when he went through the menu providing us with recommendations, he also shared his perspective on some dishes that didn't really stand out for him. This really helped us narrow down our order. We ordered the sourdough bread, a margherita pizza, the beef cheek, mussels, butter lettuce salad, and the Zucca. All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and balanced. The sour dough bread was crusty yet fluffy. We ordered the basil ricotta, anchovy butter, and the fegatini. The fegatini was rich and mild. The anchovy butter was briny and savory, but not overwhelming. The basil ricotta was good, but the flavors were a bit too mild for me. The margherita pizza was what I was hoping for in a pizza. The crust was crusty and tender. There was also the right amount of sauce and toppings. The Zucca and it was a very robust dish. The past was perfectly al dente and the dish was quickly consumed. The mussels were very tasty and a bit spicy. After squeezing some lemon juice on each mussel, all the mussels quickly disappeared from the dish. Lastly, the beef cheek. The beef cheek was perfectly braised where the beef shredded easily and was tender, but didn't fall apart. Given that the cheeks were glazed, we were concerned that it would be overly sweet. To our surprise, the glaze, though sweet, was done very well. Pairing the beef with the polenta resulted in the perfect bite. Overall, it was one of the best meals we have had in a while. Completely diff but fabulous meals. Like I said, believe that gives my review creds - trust me :D p.s. Almost forgot: bring your fav bottle of vino - no corkage
