WHAT A GEM. True old Vegas supper club off Tropicana that still does it right. Like time traveling to 1960 Vegas style. Bruschetta: Perfectly toasted, tons of fresh tomato, garlic, olive oil -- not soggy at all, so fresh it tastes like a garden party. Manicotti: HANDS DOWN one of the best I've had in Vegas. Huge portions, creamy ricotta filling, not dry at all, smothered in their homemade sauce and cheese. Pure comfort. Service is old-school wonderful, prices are actually reasonable for Vegas. Casa Di Amore knocked it out of the park. Such a fun old-school Vegas atmosphere with live music, vintage Vegas photos all over the dining room, and a tiki bar out back. Our waiter Tony was fantastic. Super friendly, knew the menu, and timed everything perfectly. We started with mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad and the complimentary garlic bread, which was dangerously good. For dinner we had the Tortellini alla Pesto, Chicken Marsala, Gnocchi Alla Prosciutto with sausage, and Linguini Bolognese. Everything was excellent, but the Chicken Marsala was a standout. The chicken was incredibly moist, the sauce was delicious, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. We were celebrating my son's 26th birthday and finished with chocolate cake, gelato, cappuccinos, and a complimentary birthday cannoli. The live band even sang Happy Birthday, which made the night extra special. Great food, great service and a really memorable Vegas experience. Easy 5 stars.

We made a reservation at Casa Di Amore, and I would definitely recommend doing the same if you're planning to visit for dinner. The restaurant was packed, and even with a reservation, we waited about 10 minutes for our table. The atmosphere was fantastic. They had live music, the whole room was lively, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the band. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive and made the evening feel extra special. We started with the garlic bread, which was so cheesy and delicious that we finished it almost immediately. I ordered the Gypsy Pasta with fried chicken. Since I had never tried their famous Gypsy sauce before, our server kindly brought me a sample first and suggested I taste it before ordering. The sauce is a very spicy blend of chilies and has a bold, unique flavor that may not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the chicken marsala with mashed potatoes, and he said it was one of the best versions he has ever had. My pasta was also delicious and unlike anything I had tried before. My only suggestion would be to use a little less Gypsy sauce, because the generous amount slightly overpowered the pasta and chicken. I would absolutely order it again, but next time I'd ask for the sauce on the side. Overall, it was a memorable dinner with great food, wonderful service, and an amazing atmosphere.

Bolognese with heavy oil but delicious!

My parents love this place, so every time they come from Nebraska, I take them. My dad will always get a white sauce and seafood, and the frutti di mare did not disappoint. Their bolognese was fantastic. The only criticism is that there was a pool of oil in the bottom, but the flavor was delicious. My mom got a pink sauce penne and cheesecake (not pictured). Waitress Debbie is our favorite! They have photos of old Las Vegas playing all around, which is so fun to see.

My friend EM says that every time he comes to Las Vegas, he goes to Casa Di Amore. We ordered the calamari, Caesar salad, shrimp parmigiana and tiramisu. Super fresh delicious and tasty! The decor and atmosphere gave it an old school Italian vibe. Nicole was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back to try more dishes and listen to live music!

Wings, my daughter loved it.

One reviewer of Casa Di Amore wrote "Wow". And I wholeheartedly agree. Thursday evening, and the parking lot was full and the restaurant was packed. There was a live solo piano player who sang classics. My wife said he could have sang with a little more emotion. However, you cannot find a better waiter than Stephan who was super attentive and exceedingly friendly. The menu was pretty substantial ranging from various pastas to steaks and chops to sandwiches. The prices seemed reasonable, matching the moderately upscale venue. But you would be hard pressed to find better tasting food. I attached some pictures of the food. We all loved the calamari appetizer. It was superb. My wife loved her linguini bolognes and my daughter her wings. I had veal parmagian - yummy, yummy. Off the Strip, but if you're in Vegas, I highly, and I mean HIGHLY recommend Casa Di Amore.

When they mention "Vegas the way it used to be" it is absolutely right! The food: classical Italian staples like cioppino, lasagna, chicken marsala and veal at an affordable price point. I've had the eggplant parm and spaghetti, and they are both flavorful and robust. Not to mention, the portions are very generous! You can easily share a plate with 1-2 other people. Service: excellent! The servers have worked here for years, so you know they have pacing down to a science. Drink orders were taken right away. Then warm bread is served. Apps are dropped with time to digest a little before the meal. Servers check in without being overbearing. The entertainment also makes for an unforgettable experience. They sing the classics and encourage the cowed to join. It feels like your home, or at least visiting Nona's Sunday dinner. What I love about supporting this place is that they explain why tiki culture is popular with Italians. I had no clue. When I saw a tiki bar attached to the restaurant, I just thought it was a gimmick, but after reading about it, I thought it was the coolest thing. I love how they preserve this unique collaboration and influence of Polynesian culture. Also, my hubby is a big fan of the Jersey Shore. We had to check it out since they filmed there several times. One of my favorite places in Las Vegas. It's definitely a fun and cozy vibe.

Pasta Carbonara

This places environment was one of the coolest I have ever seen. The theme of Italian Tiki is extremely unique and I had never seen it before. All the seats at the bar had slot games for those to play while dining/drinking. My service here also was great, I was helped by Debbie and she did a great job. My carbonara was a highlight, one of the best I have had in the states.

I don't give five star often. Take my word... the best in Vegas. For real! Nothing more to say... Live, love and laugh. - Sha

I love Casa di Amore and hubby and I try to dine here whenever we come to Vegas. Reservations recommended. Their cocktails are all good & service is always great. They have an old-school Vegas feel interior (think like "Casino" the movie) and entertainment/performers for dinner on weekends, I believe. We always get the Steamers (clams) for an appetizer with a white wine sauce. So good. The broth is liquid gold and pairs so well with the bread. Their pasta dishes are all good & hubby was so excited to see they have Veal on the menu because we haven't been able to find it anywhere here since our trip to Italy. We got it with Parmigiana and my goodness, it was very good. Shrimp and crab ravioli was generous portion and loved the sauce. Crème Brûlée dessert was good. Loved it. Restrooms are fairly clean. The back Tiki area is only open during spring/summer I believe.

Came here Monday night & was decently busy! Still got seated within 5 minutes though but got busier as the night went on. We sat in front of a live band which was nice but just a little loud! Amazing music though. The pasta was delicious & extremely flavorful. We loved both pastas we ordered & I absolutely loved the calamari, it was super delicious. Would come back for sure & highly recommend !

4 cheese pizza with sausage. The ricotta blossoms were incredible

Our night started off slow but picked up traction. We made a reservation for 6 and I was disappointed that the most comfortable booth for 6 had just had a party of three people sat down and we were shoved into a smaller both. Poor planning especially for a reservation made a month ago. I told the hostess before we sat that it was both an anniversary and birthday celebration for the couple to be surprised by the entertainment but the waitress blabbed it out first thing. Then she started telling us how a second basket of bread would be extra before we even ordered....poor form. After I called out what she was doing she quickly got the hint. The food we ordered was allgood as usually. The place can get a bit noisy when full but this place is definitely an institution but you gotta wonder about the new policies on service and seating.

Lollipop Lamb Chops
Juvanny J.

This place had incredible pasta and steak. I got the filet mignon and the meat was excellent quality and cooked to perfection. I get my steak medium or medium rare (the only ways i steak should be cooked). My sister and mom got different pastas. The pastas were incredible too. My sister got the lasagna (which was a standout) and my mom got the fettuccine alfredo (also delicious). Their appetizers are also delectable, especially their garlic bread, calamari, and lamb chops. I just wish i ordered two orders of the lamb chops. The ambiance is nice with low live music in the background. The service was attentive and friendly.

We love the food there! We will not have a rental car on our next trip, and we're wondering about using their Limo for transportation to and from the restaurant. I saw $40 charge, but is that one way or round trip? I already checked Uber prices.

We were greeted right away and led to our booth. He took our drink orders while we waited for the rest of our party, and once they arrived, we were told about their cinnamon rolls. 2 people in our party were vegan so we skipped it, but I will be trying it when we come back. I got the orange juice to drink and the french toast with a side of grits (because I feel like it's rare to find a place that does just straight grits in Vegas). Orange juice was a good size for the price, and the side of grits was a hefty portion, I was super excited for that. The french toast had cream and fresh berries on top. The french toast was soaked and griddled to perfection, thick bread that takes on the moisture very well. And the berries kick it up a notch! They have a good selection of vegan and vegetarian food, which our friends loved! When we finished up, we were offered complimentary cookies. They were warm and sooooo good! The service here was phenomenal. Our waitress was so nice and we were having quite a laugh with her, we had a great time. It wasn't too busy in here and this place is kind of tucked away, but more people need to check it out! I will absolutely be coming back to try a savory breakfast along with that cinnamon roll!

When you live in Las Vegas, visiting friends frequently ask, "What's your favorite restaurant?"…read moreIt's a tough question--Vegas has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to dining. But after about eight visits, Sparrow + Wolf has become my answer. The folks at Michelin seem to agree: they recently included it in their guide. Like many of the best restaurants here, S+W is tucked into a corner of a nondescript strip mall in Chinatown, west of the Wynn. The dining room is small, dimly lit, and elegant without a hint of pretense. No tablecloths, just solid wood tables. The atmosphere feels more like a lively dinner party than a stuffy restaurant, and the focus is squarely on the food. It delivers. Chef and owner Brian Howard's approach is modern American cooking with global influences, particularly Asian. Before you even walk in, the aroma of wood-fired cooking draws you toward the door like a siren song. Sharing dishes is the best way to experience this place. The menu changes frequently, but there are a few dishes whose removal might inspire me to stage a protest outside. So I'm skipping down the menu to start with my favorite: Bánh Cuốn ($21): Ground duck, wood ear mushrooms, and habanero wrapped in delicate rice sheets and served in a coconut sauce that will have you reaching for a spoon. Three pieces come to an order, but you can add a fourth. I love this dish so much that I frequently order it twice. It captures the care and attention to detail that make the food here so special. Two of the "snacks" deserve particular mention: Isaan Sausage ($7): Two slices of Thai fermented pork sausage made with garlic and rice, served with gem lettuce, perilla leaf, green mango, and nam pla (fish sauce). The sausage's tangy, slightly sour flavor makes for a terrific opening bite. Wood-Roasted Dates ($7): Three dates on a skewer with lamb belly bacon, pistachio, goat cheese, Aleppo pepper, and honey. Sweet, salty, smoky, and rich--the perfect tease for the meal to come. Another dish in the "don't ever take this off the menu" category is the Oxtail Hummus ($19), with crispy chickpeas, curry oil, and naan. A generous portion of meltingly tender oxtail sits in silky hummus. You'll want to put that naan to work and leave nothing behind. Snapper Tostada ($26): Raw snapper tossed with salsa macha, fermented strawberry, and toasted sesame, served on a blue corn tostada. It reminded me of a Peruvian ceviche, with its own distinctive combination of flavors. Wonderful. For larger plates, two stand out: Coal-Roasted Dry-Aged Dorade ($65): Served with calamansi, serrano pepper, and koji butter, the whole fish arrives split and filleted. I'm running out of adjectives, so let's just call it somewhere beyond delicious. Mishima Ranch Zabuton ($58): Steak lovers, this one is for you. Zabuton is a richly marbled shoulder cut prized for its tenderness and buttery flavor. Here, it's wood-roasted, served with puréed potatoes, and finished with a delicate Panang curry. I could not stop eating it. Brian is also a sommelier, and the wine list is extensive and interesting. Refreshingly, the prices don't start at $150 and climb from there. There are plenty of excellent wines at reasonable prices. The cocktail menu changes regularly, too. One current standout is "Fat of the Land" ($19): Las Vegas Distillery gin, pandan, lime leaf, jasmine-steeped coconut milk, and melon. Oh, and this review will also serve as my request to bring back the "This is the Way" cocktail! Then there's dessert. You have to try the Vietnamese Coffee--and no, it's not a drink. Coffee ice cream, Maracaibo crémeux, black Okinawa sugar, and condensed milk espuma. You'll be scraping the bottom of the dish to get every last bit. The service is warm and welcoming, completing a meal that keeps me coming back. If there were a sixth star, I'd leave it.

Let me start with the only thing you really need to know: order the foie gras. Then order it again…read more Honestly, I wish we had ordered ten of them and skipped everything else. It was heaven in my mouth and easily the star of the night. The wood roasted date was delicious too. It's very tiny, so don't expect much more than a bite or two, but every bit of it was worth it. The rest was more uneven. The rabbit dan dan was okay, nothing I'd rush back for. The snapper tostada didn't impress me at all and was the one dish I'd skip next time. We each had the Yuzual Suspects cocktail, and while it was good, the pours are super small, especially for the price. That's worth knowing going in if you plan to have more than one. I'd absolutely come back, but next time I know exactly what I'm doing: a couple of roasted dates and as much foie gras as they'll bring me
