First time at this computer repair store. They were great. I took in a desk top and lap top to be checked. Neither one was working. With in a few hours received a call back on what was the issue with both units. Pricing was more than reasonable. They called once they were finished with the repairs. If I have any problems I will be going back and will recommend this location to everyone. read more

Took my gaming pc in because it kept shutting off and restarting while gaming. Took it in to be checked by Jeramiah and Justin. They were quick and thorough to identify the issue. Great service. Will be bringing my pc back when I get the replacement parts needed. read more

Love this place! They are so friendly and are willing to help you out. They give me such great deals every time I go in and they are so considerate of their customers. If my computer ever stops functioning I will immediately go to Error Code PC! But the good news is I'll never have to go because they fix everything! One stop shop! Highly recommended! Ask for Dennis! read more

My computer is back up and running and I couldn't be happier! I heard about these guys from a friend at school after my laptop wouldn't start up. I don't know anything about computers repair service so I decided to call these guys up. Dennis offered to diagnose the problem for free for me so I dropped off my computer and they had it back to me the next morning up and running just like it was brand new! They even let me borrow a "rental" laptop so I could do my homework. If you are looking for a computer repair shop that isn't going to nickle and dime you like the other bigger stores, this is the place to call!!!!!!! read more

Great customer service. Excellent work done. The PC is running better than ever.

These guys are great! Fixed my flickering monitor and my broken computer quick! Good as new. I used to be IT for everyone I know and I'm so tired of it, but I never found a place that I was satisfied enough with that I could recommend them and be confident that they would do the job right an not cut corners. Other places are lazy. They find a problem, don't bother to diagnose it, and replace the motherboard with a lame one that's junk and charge you a bunch. Not here! Anthony checked my capacitors! Who does that? Nobody else. These guys are the best. Highly recommended!! read more

Any computer problems, come here! Highly recommend. Friendly, knowledgeable and affordable.

Even though my laptop was a gonner, Dennis was very helpful in recommending both refurbished & new laptops. He also identified all the parts of the old laptop that I could sell and told me what they were currently selling for on ebay. That was above and beyond what I expected. Thank you Dennis! read more

The laptop computer we use to operate our label printer at work went down. Needed new fans. The lent me a portable fan base to use temporarily while we waited for the replacement fans to come in. They cleaned up the operating system and it runs better than ever. Super nice guys and excellent pricing. read more

The problems I had experienced with my relatively new computer were driving me nuts! Slow, pop-ups, pages jumping, I couldn't use my computer. I was nervous about taking it anywhere because I have hundreds of legal documents that I could not lose somewhere out there in cyberspace. Several times I Yelped local computer repair places, but my fear won out until I couldn't take it any more! I found "Error Code" here on Yelp and my only regret was I didn't do this sooner! We took my computer to them. Dave was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. I felt comfortable leaving my computer with him. Within 24 hours, Dave called to let me know my computer was alive & ready to be picked up! He cleaned up all of the viruses and even installed a program to detect malware. I am now using my computer and it's now running smoother than it did brand new!! I highly recommend this place if you are having computer issues. (And the price was a lot less than I expected!) Thank you Error Code and Dave!! read more

I was expecting to have to spend a lot more to fix my laptop and ended only being $35! It is so refreshing to see a repair business being honest with no gouging or up-selling. read more

It's amazing that I've never used these guys before. In less than 3 hrs my Mac goes from something I'm ready to throw across the room, to the thing i could never live without. Thank you guys so much for making my macbook pro fast again, and also for making sure my design programs run as they should. So excited, again, to own my computer, and use it everyday. It's a toy once again and I know it's going to last me a much longer time than I thought. Your knowledge of Mac OS operating systems really paid off. read more

An unconventional set-up gives way for individualized and personal service. There are lots of cool things for a young person to look at while diagnostics are being done. My son was excited about the robots peppered throughout the store. Dave was very helpful and informative! I thought the price was fair, which is especially important given my lack of knowledge about IT/computers. If I buy a new computer I will definitely return to get it ready for use. read more

Great help. Dave quickly diagnosed my desktop and found the problem. Unfortunately, it was the motherboard so I got a recommendation of getting a new computer. Great customer service. read more

My laptop had a Bios code and wouldn't start up normally. I refuse to buy another laptop as I am almost done with school. They fixed it within less than 24 hours. Price was reasonable and I feel that they work closely with their customers. It's hidden from the main rode. I totally recommend this place. read more

Great place, wonderful service and not an arm and a leg! Worth the drive from Costa Mesa!

This business was able to recover thousands of cherished photos for a very reasonable price when my computer failed. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing data recovery, don't hesitate to give Error Code a try! read more

When I turn on my laptop, the screen is completely blank. I tried to connect it with another monitor but it still didn't show anything. I took it to the Error Code and the prices are very reasonable. Got the $40 for $30 deal on yelp. This place is a rare find they will do a very good job and not rip you off. I hope I dun need their service anymore but, if I do, I will definitely come back here again. read more

Took my laptop to this shop to have my screen replaced as it was cracked. I was in/out in an hour !! Great service ! Thanks Dave !! read more

They did a great job and everything was done for amount they quoted. Took a bit longer than we expected but that was because they had to order a part and when we got the laptop back with the info they wrote down, they had my credit card number written wrong. Would definately use them again though. read more

This review is long overdue: Was a graduate student until just recently and a few months ago, during my busiest week- my hard drive just crashed... money, what money... had just paid a $4000 tuition bill. Dropped in to this storefront just off the 405 N bound in Long Beach and found the technicians understanding and most proficient. They diagnosed the machine and explained the next steps that were required. The Damage was permanent, but that was the type of day it was. They made it better by refusing payment and only took a few minutes- maybe 20 for the evaluation and service. I owe them a favor and this review should indicate that I'll be back and use the Error Code to service any of my computer issues, any time. Thanks guys, JB read more

I would just like to say that Alex came out right away and took care of all of the problems we were having with our computers. He was polite, business-like and very knowledgeable. We were back working in no time. Thanks Alex! Anthony is also very nice to deal with and called to followed up. Great service! Thanks guys! Lisa W. read more

I took my Sony VAIO laptop to Error Code because it was overheating. Chris checked it for me and cleaned it for me. It is now not heating up anymore, asked him how much and there was no charge, This does not happen very often so I am extremely pleased and will definitely take all my computers/laptops to this place. Awesome service and thank you Error Code! read more

Upgraded my Mac mini with an ssd hard drive that I provided. It was done well and they cloned my old hard drive to the new one with no problems. Only thing that would have made it a 5 star review is if they had better customer service with their ETAs. I had to leave a message for them to call me back. I also had to go to the shop to find out an ETA. It doesn't have to be a live voice. Maybe an email with an ETA? read more

Just found a new computer repair company. Honest and reliable techs here. Come check them out.

Found about the company through yelp. External hard drive failed on me. I got an upfront quote, and even was told I wouldn't be charged if the hard drive was unrecoverable. Did an excellent job, was able to recover all my info. I'm very happy, would recommend and use the service again read more

I used to go to Error Code and found out this is where they relocated. Great experience, a gentlemen named I believe, Dave was very informative and attentive. I was quoted a price and ended up paying less. Dave was able to give me information on out to circumvent specific issues in the future, and essentially gave me a diagnosis and prescription for my computer. If I encounter problems in the future, this will be my Go-To! read more
