This place is legit! Pictured are "THREE" slices of pie-- we got 6? I guess their single slice = 2! Good value. Crust was nice and crisp on the bottom and the slices were not too greasy. Tasty "By The Slice" option. Beware, these slices are a 1/4 of the pie. There was a line but they kept it moving. There was a small dine in option but lots of take away. You can eat it on the paper plate or box it up. Very good meatlovers but lots of different options. Give them a try. read more

Ernesto's was one of our stops on our north end pizza tour and it was the favorite for all three of us in our party! Not too much sauce (and not too sweet), not too much cheese, cooked well with thin crust. I don't prefer what I call 'shake cheese's but sometimes it just works, along with red pepper flakes. Bummers our tour had to leave quickly, to make room for other customers, because there is very limited seating inside. It was a cool place that I would've loved to sit at a bit. read more

Came here on a recommendation from a friend, and wow, it did not disappoint! This place was awesome! The slices were enormous and they were delicious!! We gad a Buffalo chicken, chicken and broccoli and a meat lover. Loved the variety, so much to choose from. Each 'slice ' varied in price from $5-$9, I believe. It was a nice little place, with friendly staff also. That pizza, though.... my mouth is watering... try it, you won't regret it. I wish I had one in my home city. read more

Stopped by here for lunch and it was a good spot! The slices are the biggest that I have ever seen!!! When I ordered the Ernesto slice it looks like it's two pizza slices! Honestly the Ernesto was okay, nothing special... but my boyfriend for the pepperoni one which was suppper delicious! You can't go wrong ordering the classical best! Second location I've tried. The first being in assembly whilst waiting for the hello kitty truck. Came thru in the clutch. While in the north end for an appointment i decided to get a pie for the shop and selected sausage, ricotta cheese with jalepenos. I tend to choose a style pie that looked good, unfortunately we was starving and i forgot to snap a picture. It was quick, ready in 10 min or so and it was hot and yummy. I do think the sausage would have tasted better with a bit more seasoning. Nothing a bit of garlic powder, parm and red chili flakes can't fix. Small shop like most in the north end, has tables for seating 4 toppers and 2 toppers. Will be back. read more

Ahhh! Ernesto's pizza is just top tier. I've tried their pizza in Assembly Row before and it was divine. Just yesterday, we got a whole pizza with sausage, jalapeños, and ricotta cheese. Chef's kiss!! I highly recommend trying either locations. And honestly, I am not even a pizza person (I know it sounds crazy) but EUREKA! 1 slice is more than enough for one person. The crust is so good! The texture, the chew, it has a crisp to it that's just enough without being crunchy. We got 1/2 caprese and 1/2 cheese. The toppings are perfectly proportioned. Service is quick, the dining room is tiny, so grab your box and head down to the park and enjoy it outdoors if you can. It gets crowded. read more

We ordered through a delivery app and weren't notified that it was delivered to our hotel, so it was cold before we got it. The pizza itself was huge and delicious. We ate it before we left for the Celtics game and after we came back from the bar. I would eat here again, hopefully it will be hot next time. read more

Finally tried Ernesto's. Ideally I'd give it a 3.5 It's a big 'ol pizza pie. Definitely one of the largest I've seen. It seems that buying a pie is a way better value than by the slice. We got a mushroom with ricotta. Like all my other pizza reviews for Boston, it needs more sauce . Probably some salt too. But at the end it was a good pie, the crust was chewy and not too crunchy. Taking off points for the following: - the bottom could use more of a crunch/bite, ours was on the floppy side - the prices on the website aren't up to date - our pizza was about $5 more - didn't love the herbed ricotta, which was a surprise because the menu just says "ricotta" -- I won't get this again. read more

I came here the day after having a lackluster experience at Regina's, I was only in town for a long weekend and needed redemption. On a Saturday the wait was out the door as expected but It went fast, less than 10 minutes and we were front of the line. I read a few reviews that said a whole pie is the way to go over slices but frankly after spending 2+ hours at regina for lackluster pizza the day before, slices sounded great. The duo behind the counter was friendly, smiling, joking, good guys. The pizza was great! Crust had some nice little air bubbles, was light and fluffy and the "slice" is a great value, it's 1/4 of a pizza, 2 large slices anywhere else. This is solid pizza at a good price and the wait time is minimal, what more can you ask for?! read more

This is one of the best pizza places in Boston and a must visit if your in town. This is a sell by the Slice joint for a really decent price. But keep in mind "one slice" is really two giant slices, so one really all you need. If you stop in try the eggplant ricotta it's my favorite! read more

First time here and won't be coming back. Stopped in late Saturday night because just wanted to taste some good Boston pizza. Had several different slices for me and the family and they pretty much all disappointed. Bacon/chicken/ranch forgot to add the ranch dressing. Margarita slice tasted like cooked dough. Buffalo chicken was ok but couldn't find any chicken on the slice. Meat slice was just ok and the pepperoni slice just wasn't worth it! read more

Omg. The best dough and crispy crust with a pillowy center. The tomato sauce is chunky and is simply delicious! The mozzarella is fantastic with a perfect pull. The ricotta is herbed so it's bursting with flavor. Finally, the eggplant was incredible with the perfect amount of breading to add flavor and crunch without overpowering the natural goodness of the veggie and wasn't greasy at all. Great place to stop by for a slice of Boston pizza! Although a slice = a quarter of pizza (Huge slice! Can't beat this deal!) Each slice is $5-8 depending what toppings you are getting. Slices are coming from whole pizzas already made so it's quick (They throw it in the oven real quick to give it a nice toast before giving it to you) Ordered the pepperoni with ricotta cheese. This is my husbands and I's FAVORITE pizza place in all of Boston. We've tried soo many pizza places like Reginas's and other recommended places, but this one reigns supreme ! Crust is perfection imo, thin and crispy and chewy. Toppings are traditional and a few unique flavors like cheeseburger. And you get 1/4 of a pizza as a slice for 6-7$. Yelp suggested this place for best pizzas in the area, specifically the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. We ordered via UberEats abs unfortunately the delivery took forever (not a mistake on the restaurant). When the pizza finally arrived, we were very surprised by the size of the pizza. The slices are ginormous and the full pizza can definitely be shared between 3-4 people.. sharing ofcourse is optional. Let's get to the basics, the pizza had sufficient amount of sauce and the cheese to chicken ratio was fine too. As the delivery was delayed, my pizza was cold and the crust was dried out. However, we were still pretty satisfied due to the flavour and portion size. The Buffalo sauce gives it a kick, paired well with chilli flakes. Walked back to the hotel with this pizza and even semi-cold it was amazing. We decided to take it to go because of COVID, but I'm sure pipping hot it's even better. Half and half: Ernesto Pizza - had to get the namesake! It was really good! A White pizza topped with chicken, broccoli, fresh mushrooms and cheese. Caprese Pizza - a classic that you can't go wrong with. Red sauce, topped with fresh mozzarella, romano & fresh basil. The sauce was the star of the show - it was excellent! It was all delicious. They make wood fired pizzas and their Pepperoni is my favorite. The crust is nice and charred/crispy too, which I like. They also make their own ice cream and have pints for sale! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out.
