This was the best fine dining experience we have had in years. Javon greeted us and wished us a Happy Anniversary as we arrived. He was an amazingly gracious host who checked on us throughout evening. Desia was our server and she was friendly and attentive. We so enjoyed the quail appetizer and our salads were amazing. I had the goat cheese eggroll salad with watermelon and my husband had the spinach with almond pecan brittle. Our entrees were short ribs and scallops and I could eat them every day. The raspberry soufflé was like magic cotton candy in your mouth. If you're hesitant to spend the money... don't be. It is an absolutely devine dining experience. We can't wait to go back!

Erling Jensen is my favorite spot for date nights, holidays, and events. The food and drinks have never let me down. The service is very professional and well-coordinated, but therefore the atmosphere is less warm than some other local restaurants with a more casual style of service. It's a good value at $75 for five courses (Thursday and Friday) and $45 for three courses on Sunday only. I have not ordered a la carte yet, but it all seems excellent. My favorite dishes have been the deconstructed beef Wellington, the duck confit en croute, the "shrimp, corn, tomato", and the pecan tart (ie fancy pecan pie). Dishes I didn't love include the sweetbread, the bison filet, and the chocolate mousse dessert. I love their Manhattan After Dark cocktail and their wine pairing offerings.

Yana was PHENOMENAL and provided the best service I've had in Memphis yet (which is a pretty high bar) Extraordinary service, very attentive and knowledgeable while being herself, genuine and very chill. She made me feel at home and welcomed while I was far away from my family and friends on a business trip. Food here excellent and high quality while the drinks expertly prepared and strong. I will definitely be back with family, business colleagues and clients. Thank you!

Amazing!!! From the food to the service everything screams fine dining. It is in a quaint location that makes it feel very intimate. Our server was wonderful! Her name was Lana or Llana (sp?) She was patient (as it was our first time) and very willing to explain and go through menu items. She even came to our table once our items came out to ensure that we liked it and implied that we could try something different if we didn't. That never happened. Everything we tried was amazing!! They even brought out some cookies to celebrate my mom's birthday! It was an amazing dining experience and I can't wait to go back!

The ambience is always beautiful, with light jazzed and quiet conversations. But I would love to recognize Riley, who was my server. She was just the sweetest, kindest and the most thoughtful host. Every year that I've come and they ask what are you celebrating, and I mention my birthday was in a few days. She took the time to bring out the birthday duck with a candle, and it was just beautiful. She also helped me out with a solution to self parking. So kudos to Reilly please someone give her a raise. So onto the food, stellar as always there was only two things that I noticed, I missed the butter that goes with the scone, which I'm sure if I asked I would've received, but honestly, it was tasty without it. The only other thing is with a tea it gets weaker every time it gets refilled. Given that tea service price has increased to $65 plus the 9.25% sales tax and the 20% included gratuity came to about $90 (which was a little more than I was expecting, but inflation right). It would've been great to get the leaves changed out after the third pour, but other than that it was a 10 out of 10.

The Redfish Clemenceau is one dish that is sure to please. Redfish with panko breading, peas, potatoes, and mushroom in a light sauce, I really enjoyed. I am not a fan of all things fish, but I did venture out and I'm glad I did. I have also had the bread pudding and cheesecake, with the bread pudding being my favorite. Oysters are half price on Tuesday and I enjoyed the raw oysters better than the chargrilled. The chargrilled didn't taste chargrilled, because I could only taste the Parmesan, no garlic butter flavor at all. Oh as for appetizers, the bone marrow and crab au gratin, were great as well. I have tried so much in those two visits I can't remember everything! Fried oyster salad is full of oysters and less salad with blue cheese dressing that does not overpower the dish. Bbq shrimp was just ok, unfortunately the dining area I was in had blue lights so all those pictures came out...blue lol! Ladies bathroom was cleaned both visits and the atmosphere is very inviting.

Went with my mother and sister while we were staying nearby attending a wedding party in Bartlett. Read about Catherine and Mary's online and decided to give it a shot based on pics and reviews. As soon as we stepped inside we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. I must say here that my sister has a small disorder such that it's hard for her to talk in complete sentences, and she has a notable stutter. This means she also experiences a great deal of social anxiety. She felt so welcomed that she hardly stuttered while we were there, and when we left she said, "This was such a good place for people like me." I loved that they made me and my mom welcome, but am doubly grateful that you went out of your way to make my sister so happy. She really felt like you treated her like an old friend. My sister has a speech problem, but she's not mentally disabled (in fact she's an electrical engineer). So the kindness was not lost on her, and I know this will be a place we'll look forward to when we visit family in the Memphis area. Thank you so much for the excellent food and the awesome vibes! A prime location for a prime steakhouse. The service was strong as was the pacing. I found the server a bit too eager to explain the restaurant and the menu. I'm a ribeye eater so I had a pretty good idea I was getting a ribeye before I went in. I think the talking is used as a way to upsell and push guests towards opaquely priced off-menu "specials" which from my understanding are always on offer (such as their deviled eggs and bone marrow sauce). We started with the beef tartare and duck ravioli. I preferred the tartare, which had a nice spicy seasoning throughout. The duck ravioli had an excellent sauce on it, too. For our mains, I got the prime boneless ribeye ($68) and my brother got the prime strip ($56). We also shared the Yume A5 Wagyu experience ($225), letting us try three different cuts of Wagyu side by side. For sides (about $15/each), we did the fontina potatoes, truffle honey tots, and carrots. We also added the gulf prawns ($21), foie gras ($14), and bone marrow sauce (~$20) which was prepared table side and was plenty to share. It was very rich and peppery, though a bit of a salt bomb. For dessert, we shared the French toast bread pudding with maple butter ($14) which is one of my favorite bread puddings I've tried. They also brought my brother a dessert since it was his birthday, it was something like a raspberry mousse with coconut foam and a sharp raspberry sauce. Excellent. The Yume experience was a big motivation in coming here, as getting to try cuts of A5 Wagyu next to cuts of regular (albeit prime) beef is unique in the Memphis area and really for hours around. It was priced as an experience rather than a food item. It did not disappoint, nor did the prime steaks. The A5 is so unbelievably tender by comparison. My favorite was the ribeye, but I'm biased. My brother, normally a strip guy, agreed with me there. The potato sides were underwhelming, particularly for the price. I don't know how I let my brother talk me into buying him $15 tater tots for his birthday. I could get the carrots again, though. My total was $800 for the two of us for the above food, six cocktails, and tax and tip. A big chunk of that was the Yume experience as well as the drinks (we were celebrating!). If we were to go back, it would be closer to $350 for the two of us, and I would go for the prime ribeye with foie gras again, no need for Wagyu or sauce. I enjoy the sister restaurants in this restaurant group (Coastal Fish, Flight, Southern Social) and frankly I'd bet Porch is the cash cow of the group due to the relatively poor value proposition. We had a great experience exploring the finest steak and accompaniments one could wish for. But, for my money, Coastal does a pretty good steak too.

I was seated fairly promptly. I asked for a teaspoon for my coffee (was provided a soup spoon). The server didn't remove the 2nd table service until I was 1/2 way through my meal. This restaurant is upper mid 'quality' yet the table service provided a "diners" coffee mug instead of a cup and saucer. I asked, and got, cream with my coffee (not packages). I don't eat pork--there are no non-pork meat options. The menu (and server) represent the croissants and muffins as "fresh baked." I think the croissants are store bought nuked, they're a bit soggy and became rubbery as they cooled (not buttery/flakey). I ordered my side of eggs over-medium and they arrived over-hard. The breakfast, is over-priced. The location and ambiance should/could be exceptional. I'm clearly disappointed. (They might want to look at The Capital Hotel in LR for ideas.)

Although I have a great deal of empathy for the employees dealing with the situation at hand, I felt like we were brushed over and never truly had our horrible experience acknowledged outside of a rose and champagne given to us in our line of 30+ people. The only redeeming part of the evening was our waitress who clearly worked her butt off to make sure we were taken care of. She was sweet and hard working. But at the end of the day, I don't want to have to feel sorry for the wait staff because of a terrible decision obviously made by management to overbook a prepaid experience. Overall, I'm not sure if I'd ever be willing to give Paulette's another try after the evening we had.
