UPDATE: Changed from 2 to 3 stars I discussed the situation with Matan the owner of Envirosmart and he was very understanding of the situation. He arrange to have someone come out and clean the foam off the car (Which was great). Although he did get the foam off the car it wasnt in the best manner as he used lacquer thinner and a plastic scraper (Not the best for car paint), some smaller parts he was unable to get the foam off (So will have to live with permanently). But I do appreciate the effort. Matan also arrange for a partial refund of the foam since I only received 2/3 of what was expected. Since the review I found the gap between my roof and gutter was not filled completely and thus I am left with a draft between two floors which will create areas of condensation and gives access for rodents. As per invoice I was expecting this to be filled. I have changed my review to 3 stars since I feel this business does have your best interest in mind and they are an honest company and it was just an unfortunate turn of events that lead to this. But unfortunately I am left with fixing the gap, removing splattered foam from the rest of the house, foam that will never be the right thickness (Since plastered over), and lost time. Again, I think this was just an unfortunate situation and I would do business with them again. ---ORIGINAL REVIEW--- This review is for the business and installation of spray foam. I really hate to give a negative review as this company was so nice to work with but overall when I think of what happened its not positive. The team responded very quickly and had Andrew (Sales) came out super quick. Andrew was friendly and explained the process well. Dan the installer and GM was on another level, super professional, this guy is clearly focused on customer service and no surprise hes the GM. INSTALLATION I had my attic spray foamed and unfortunately, there was some miscommunication with sales as apparently the job was oversold and they needed 40% more foam than originally calculated. Dan was good with managing this and said they will cover the remaining foam that was not accounted for. Unfortunately, this set the project back 1 week. (Challenging when you have multiple contractors lined up, but we managed). Dan came in for the second time to complete the job. At the end I pointed out a few areas that were missed and he fixed that up well. When I asked Dan to spray foam between the gutter and wall I though there was a bug screen in place as per quote, unfortunately. this didnt exist which mean some of the foam went straight through, this stuff is hard to get off and now its all over my backyard and car (Photo). I was quoted 3 inches of foam and after I had my contractor look at it he said its 2 inches at most. I did contact Envirosmart about this and was told 3 inches is the maximum and i should expect less overall. This does sound a little strange and I have now had others tell me thats not the case (Photos - Screwdriver on the final green tape level is 3 inches). The final negative is that after the job was done, there was a fair amount of the spray that wasnt mixed well all over the floors, I was told this stuff if not mixed properly gasses out, it would have been nice for them to clean this up after the job was complete. This would have been a 1 star if it wasnt for Dan and Andrew being so professional. read more

Alan's crews were timely, friendly and jumped in and got the work done. I would recommend this company with one caveat, I wish the men would put something on their shoes when they get the job ready to start, their boots were filthy, now I feel I have to scrub all the floors and clean the carpets, also the walls where they worked-dirty hand prints and dirt on jambs, doors, and attic door cover. I have to admit I am a lover of clean so I may hold the bar higher than others. All in all, they did a good job and cleaned up everything outside. My husband QC'd their work and was good with what they accomplished. As I mentioned, Alan and his crew did not waste any time, called to let me know when they would arrive, came in and immediately went to work. This is an update to my previous review. EnviroSmart missed an appointment with me BUT, once notified of the problem, their manager made every effort to work with me to get it fixed. There was a probelm and the manager made it right! Sean and Antonio were my technicians. They were polite, professional, thorough, and kind. Their sense of urgency and going the extra mile shows me that this is a company with heart. They made the difference. Mystique and Esther at the office were also very helpful and professional when I called. Problems happen with every business, but working with a team who was wiling to reach out and talk about what needed to be done makes me trust this business. Requested a bid for a basic fresh air intake for the house. They had a gal come out who had to call a tech on a lot of my questions and have me talk to them through her phone. Sent me a quote for a $7.5k system instead. When I asked what happened as we discussed a basic setup that was quoted as a $1-2k job by others, I was told that the techs decided this is the best option for us. After getting some quotes 2 technicians were prompt on their arrival time on the day of service. They did a great job cleaning out our ducts and even repaired a few vents. They serviced my furnace and gave me a good run-down on its condition and recommendations for maintenance and lifetime remaining. While Charles was unloading equipment, Brian took the time to explain how the furnace and heating system works to my wife and the costs for each type of labor. They were both very efficient and got right to work and in short time they had our system clean. Just bought a home and we wanted to clean out the air ducts and get our furnace serviced (recommended every 2 years). I looked up the multiple services from Yelp reviews and they were able to get back to me right away with a quote for the air duct cleaning and furnace service at very competitive prices, so I decided to go with them. I was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, but Danny called & texted in the mid morning asking if we could move it to Thursday because he seemed to be backed up with his work for the day. This was a bit of a bummer because I had changed my work schedule to accommodate the visit but was OK because I understand sometimes work takes longer and I liked that he was transparent and was trying to communicate well. On Thursday, they came and did an air duct cleaning and serviced my furnace. Danny also took a picture and recommended that I do a rotor shake brush cleaning showing that the air ducts had stuff stuck on them over the years. He said after that I should be good with air duct cleaning every 2 years. I asked if he was able to give discount, and he took off some off the final price. I was also able to ask for a dryer vent cleaning and get a report that overall it was in good shape. 5 stars for quick response, competitive prices compared to other companies, good communication, sticking to their quotes, and a slight discount off the additional services. 2 other noteworthy things. 1) Danny was able to MacGyver his way to assemble a better holder contraption for my furnace filter and 2) I also appreciated that he did a free inspection of my attic insulation to give me the latest recommendations and later a quote for the job. These 2 noteworthy things well made up for the rescheduling of service. I would come back to them again for my next cleaning/service. read more

These guys did a really good job and were the most affordable option after speaking with five different companies. Andrew was very responsive and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We had them remediate mold in our crawl space and attic and install a new vapor barrier. Alan and the install team was very polite but arrived later than they told me but in the end the project was done on time and looked good! They put plastic everywhere to protect the house and we're very careful to make sure they cleaned everything up. Overall we are happy with the end product and would recommend Envirosmart. read more

Fast and efficient. Very polite HVAC technician. We had 2 furnaces from be serviced on a duplex.

Yet again, Envirosmart didn't deliver. I had them come in Sept to clean my vents/ ducts. The 2 guys who came out left tape on my vents and vent covers unscrewed. I reached out to Environsmart several times via email and phone. I finally got in touch with Sean who I was told was the manager. He apologized profusely and asked to come out and fix the issue. He came out was very nice, put all of my vent covers back on (so I thought) and said he would reimburse me what I paid. As he came out with Matthew and seemed to do a good job I said I'd be happy with half of what I paid reimbursed. This was Dec 4th, at Christmas while moving furniture I found a vent without it's cover. I texted Sean with a picture and asked about the check he was gonna have sent to me. He said he'd get right on it. Still no check. The folks who answer the phone don't seem to know who the owner of the company is. I found him on LinkedIn and will be contacting him regarding this matter. I don't know how this business stays open. The reviews are terrible, wish I had read them prior to hiring them. Do not use them!! This company is basically a general contractor that rips off people and not doing much besides over charging. I hired them to install a mini split system at my parents house and after my elderly partners signed a contact 3 times the market price I found out that the work was not even licensed !! First time using this company, I had a great experience. Sharhar (Sean) and John came to my house right on time. They inspected my furnace and cleaned all the airducts, and the cold air returns (that we have not cleaned at all). We also have them to install an UV light and an electrostatic filter on my furnace to improve the air quality in my house. Sean is really knowledgeable and explained everything well. I was pleased and happy with the work the Envirosmart Solution team did on my air ducts. They did an excellent job of cleaning including detailed explanation of the work in progress. Prior to the cleaning, I noticed a fine film of dust on my ceramic surfaces. After cleaning, it's gone. Previously, I had a cursory cleaning done but it was not comprehensive as Envirosmart. E. Solution came back out and recleaned my entire ducts and intake. If the first cleaning was as excellent as the second this would have been a review. I continually smell a burning odor every time my furnace turns on. I believe this is from when they cleaned the intake duct and the filter they placed partially collapsed, and over a third of dust and debris fell into the furnace. The guy cleaning the ducts said it was fine and that the women here probably move it. Which she didn't since we went together to look at, what was collected.I could tell from her face this wasn't right. They talked. He then said he vacuumed out the top area just in case. There was large clumps of debris/dust coming out of my kitchen, bathroom and bedroom vents still this morning four days later, now going on five.. My experience with this company wasn't great at first, the cleaning service performed was overall less effective, but who knows since so much dust and debris was pulled back into the system. The last cleaners completed the entire service at half this price. I had two other companies give me a price quotes for less cost. If things would have been done correctly, the cost wouldn't have been as insulting. My advice do your research. Look at your before and after picture, make sure that everything is cleaned. read more

I needed an inspection & routine maintenance on my gas furnace. Was really happy with Envirosmart. The price was the quoted price, nothing was tacked on, which was refreshing. Sean and David, the two technicians they sent, were great. I felt they went above and beyond. They talked me step-by-step through everything they were checking, and explained what steps I could take to keep my system in good shape. They made some recommendations for future service, but did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. They responded very quickly and gave a competitive quotation to remove and replace attic insulation. They showed up exactly as scheduled and called me 30 mins before arriving. Dan and his team quickly removed the old insulation and cleaned and disinfected. They then sealed all the gaps and holes caused by rodents and redid all the insulation. They also fitted new extractor pipes for the bathroom extractor fans. The attic is now in excellent condition and smells clean and fresh. I live in a townhouse and know nothing about vents and ducts. I set up services for vents to be cleaned and was offered a coupon for the dryer vent to be free. I added on a cleaning of the vent fan over the dryer as the dryer area was really our concern. Three people arrived, introduced themselves and their plan, and got right to work. They saw myself and my child wearing masks and all put on masks themselves, which I really appreciated. They had already started working when I was told that the price I was quoted was for vent cleaning with a furnace and since we have wall heat it would be $150 per vent, which was significantly more expensive. I immediately became concerned and asked them to stop working. I explained the quote I had received and that the dryer was my biggest concern. The person who seemed to be in charge expressed his understanding and went to call the office while having the other people stop working. He came back with a new quote and when I said it was too expensive, he said he could do just the dryer vent and the vent fan for $199 plus tax. I took him up on this and expressed my appreciation. Our dryer vents to the roof but they were still able to clean it as their ladder reached (barely). One of the people working was very kind in checking to see if my child would be okay with the noise from the vacuum, which can actually be a concern for him so that was really appreciated as well. They worked quickly and professionally, cleaning up after themselves. They adapted quickly and were able to do the job that I needed despite my own confusion when booking the job. Office staff were also responsive and helpful as I booked on Sunday for a Tuesday, and they actually had availability on Monday as well. I would absolutely recommend this company. read more

I asked for a quote from 3 companies for air duct and dryer vent cleaning. This company was fastest to respond and had comparable pricing (not the least expensive but definitely not the most). I called and was able to schedule an appointment same week. He called to let me know he was 20 minutes away, arrived on time and for right to work. He was very professional and kind, working around my three (often annoying) kids. He took photos during the cleaning so I could see all the nasty in there and at the end of the visit quoted me for additional services. He wasn't pushy in the least bit - he took time to explain everything and I told him we would need to wait a few months and he remained professional.
