E. Solution came back out and recleaned my entire ducts and intake. If the first cleaning was as excellent as the second this would have been a review. I continually smell a burning odor every time my furnace turns on. I believe this is from when they cleaned the intake duct and the filter they placed partially collapsed, and over a third of dust and debris fell into the furnace. The guy cleaning the ducts said it was fine and that the women here probably move it. Which she didn't since we went together to look at, what was collected.I could tell from her face this wasn't right. They talked. He then said he vacuumed out the top area just in case. There was large clumps of debris/dust coming out of my kitchen, bathroom and bedroom vents still this morning four days later, now going on five.. My experience with this company wasn't great at first, the cleaning service performed was overall less effective, but who knows since so much dust and debris was pulled back into the system. The last cleaners completed the entire service at half this price. I had two other companies give me a price quotes for less cost. If things would have been done correctly, the cost wouldn't have been as insulting. My advice do your research. Look at your before and after picture, make sure that everything is cleaned. read more

I live in a townhouse and know nothing about vents and ducts. I set up services for vents to be cleaned and was offered a coupon for the dryer vent to be free. I added on a cleaning of the vent fan over the dryer as the dryer area was really our concern. Three people arrived, introduced themselves and their plan, and got right to work. They saw myself and my child wearing masks and all put on masks themselves, which I really appreciated. They had already started working when I was told that the price I was quoted was for vent cleaning with a furnace and since we have wall heat it would be $150 per vent, which was significantly more expensive. I immediately became concerned and asked them to stop working. I explained the quote I had received and that the dryer was my biggest concern. The person who seemed to be in charge expressed his understanding and went to call the office while having the other people stop working. He came back with a new quote and when I said it was too expensive, he said he could do just the dryer vent and the vent fan for $199 plus tax. I took him up on this and expressed my appreciation. Our dryer vents to the roof but they were still able to clean it as their ladder reached (barely). One of the people working was very kind in checking to see if my child would be okay with the noise from the vacuum, which can actually be a concern for him so that was really appreciated as well. They worked quickly and professionally, cleaning up after themselves. They adapted quickly and were able to do the job that I needed despite my own confusion when booking the job. Office staff were also responsive and helpful as I booked on Sunday for a Tuesday, and they actually had availability on Monday as well. I would absolutely recommend this company. read more

We had a terrible experience with this company. They did work in our crawl space and attic and did not do a good job on either. Several things went wrong and they had to come back out 3 times. I was told a manager would call me but never did and then they said a manager would come out to fix the issues but that didn't happen either. Had to call another company out to fix their mistakes. I called around to get a few quotes to have my vents cleaned, all were around $400. When I called Envirosmart I was given a quote of less than half of that - I thought this was too good to be true so I explained to Colleen what the services were I was requesting and she confirmed that the price was correct and it was for an unlimited number of vents. Unfortunately Colleen is knew and not up to speed on the services or prices that her company offers. While she is extremely nice, being quoted less than half of what the service would actually cost when the tech arrived is not right. Envirosmart actually ended up being more expensive for the services I wanted then the other quotes I had received and I would not have gone with them had I been given an accurate quote. Also, something to be aware of you - are charged a fee no matter which payment option you choose. read more

He customized my range hood so it worked properly with my vaulted ceiling, and made everything look really clean (which involved a lot of cutting and work that was a one shot deal). Don't hire these guys. We employed them to clean our ducts and vents. They were on time and seemed knowledgeable but we found out after they left what a mess they made. They did not use a drop cloth and we had to vacuum and damp mop the house thoroughly because of the residue left on the floor. Some of the registers were put back upsidedown and they left a hole in the wall near one where they had difficulty putting it back on. When they cleaned the dryer duct they broke a part of the dryer which I had to have repaired. Obviously they were not trained well read more

I was contacted by this business promptly after I requested an attic inspection from them by using their "Contact Us" button on the internet. I was scheduled for an arrival time window of 9 AM to 11 AM two weeks or so out. When they hadn't arrived by over 20 minutes after 11 AM, I called to ask why no call and no show. They put me on an extended hold, and then came back to tell me that my confirmed appointment with Ne____ didn't appear on their schedule, and would I like to reschedule? Of course I didn't want to reschedule with a business that had confirmed and then not called or advised or even acknowledged that my appointment with them ever existed. Did I want to talk with the manager? Why would I when I can find someone more reliable? Very disappointing. read more

After shopping around, I set-up an appointment for a yearly maintenance and inspection of my Gas Furnace from Envirosmart Solutions. Xavier & Zac showed up exactly on time, politely calling prior to their arrival. They introduced themselves, asked if they could come in, and were kind enough to honor my request to take off their shoes before walking through the house. They got right to work and immediately began inspecting and cleaning the unit. Xavier graciously answered my numerous questions the entire time. As a new homeowner I wanted to make sure I had a rough understanding of what was going on. They didn't hesitate to explain, all aspects of my furnace, and provided general tips and tricks regarding heating my home in the winter. It was the perfect amount of detail for a rookie like me, making me feel like my concerns were first heard and then addressed. Zac ensured the unit was cleaned thoroughly, showing me things that if left untreated could have caused me issues in the future. Update: These people don't give a receipt for services at the time of service which is kinda sketchy, instead the gal says the office will send one once the photos they took are uploaded. Well that never happened. It took me 3 calls to them to get a simple invoice of the services i paid for! All the while they kept telling me that it takes several days for my check to clear??? Like what does that have to do with anything??? So I insisted i needed a receipt regardless so she agreed but each time she said my email was "bouncing" back to her? And she confirmed it with me more than once. Ive never experienced this before from any company that came to my house to do work. And I always get either a hand written receipt at the time of service or one emailed to me while they are standing in front of me right before they leave. I mean what kind of company doesn't give a receipt at the time of service??? Not one I've ever dealt with before! Seans team came on time and did a great job of cleaning the ducts as well as my furnace. Best job I have ever seen the doing the entire system from furnace through air intakes - spotless. They literally pulled the fan blower assembly from my furnace and cleaned out years of crud by hand. Finishing touch was the dryer vent. It had grown shut with an ivy branch and the used an auger to pull out about 2 gallons of lint. talk about a fire hazard!!! Great guys, knowledgeable, polite and efficient. I have an old house from the early 40's, so they had a messy job sucking up all the old quarry fill up there in the rafters. After completion of the job, Jose, the team leader came up and showed me about a dozen pictures from his iPad as they were cleaning and packing up the truck. I hired Envirosmart to complete an air duct cleaning of our HVAC. I found them here on Yelp. During negotiations to complete the job, the company stated that it would be $199 to clean all vents. Upon arrival, I was then up-charged to clean the return vents ($125 a piece). Even after agreeing to do that work, the tech then told me that my attic was too hot and I needed a solar fan (appx. cost $2k) and that the company that installed my insulation (Clean Crawls) didn't do it correctly, left bating with mold and did not install enough vents (hence the need for a solar fan). He also said our cellulose blown in insulation was "crunchy" due to the overly hot temperatures and that it smelled of mold in my attic (I smelled nothing), going so far as to point out areas along the eaves that had "mold". He then tried to up-sell me again to treat it. It didn't sound accurate to me (just had the attic cleaned and insulation blown in 5 years ago) so I got on the phone with the Clean Crawls, relayed what the Environsmart tech stated and they agreed to come down a few days later to verify the issues. After CC came and inspected my attic, they relayed that none of what the Envirosmart rep said was true. They thoroughly explained this by taking me in the attic and personally showing me, explaining what I was seeing and verifying we had the correct number of roof vents installed. The "mold" that the tech said he saw was some of the blown insulation collecting on cobwebs, the "moldy" bating he saw was just the type of recycled, brown bating we decided to use instead of the classic pink bating. Buyer beware of this company. My hope is that my experience is an anomaly but, regardless, be cautious of what they recommend and get a second opinion. Won't be using or recommending this company. Oh and when you finally do pay your invoice, they charge you a service fee whether you pay via credit card or via checking account. ------- Update: The owner contacted me directly and we discussed my experience. he also offered to refund the money spent on the return vent cleaning which I accepted. I appreciate the conversation and the refund, therefore I changed my review, giving one more star. But again, my hope is that the review prompts further review of their current practices. read more

I got furnace maintenance and cleaning service from the company. The guy just dusted around for 15 minutes and I didnot see what kinds of maintenance and testing he did. I also asked him to give me a quote of replacing my exhaust fan, and he said he will give me a quote but never got any response from him. Very unprofessional. I used the company a few times and the company is quick to respond but the company is all about making quick money and never cares about service quality. Will never use the company again. read more
