They promptly sent a technician out to assess the issue and determined it was a failed GFCI. Their electrician, Lucas, quickly replaced the faulty component and resolved the problem. Throughout the entire process, everyone we worked with was outstanding. Miles took the time to explain our options and helped us make informed decisions. Jean and Kyle did an excellent job with the installation, and Lucas was professional and courteous in resolving the issue. The person that came to our house for the estimate has experience with HVAC installations and performed a thorough assessment of our residence to determine the HVAC size required. The bid documents were very detailed compared to other vendors and made the decision process easier. The price of work fell in the middle of all the bids we received from other contractors. On the day of the installation, we received a text that they were on the way and everyone arrived on time. The process of removing the old equipment and replacing it with new went very well. The work took two days and the entire time, everyone was professional and respectful of our property. Drop cloths were placed to protect the floors and no construction debris was left afterward where the work was done. The conduits, pipes, wires and access holes were well crafted/positioned and look very good. Kudos to Juan and Jayden for a great job. The electrical contractor was very thorough and their work also looked great. During the entire process, the attitude of the staff was very good and the team worked well together. At the end of day 2, the new HVAC units were turned on. We were given a "walk through" of the work that was done, and what to expect. Pro's - Basic work seemed to be done well and at a price that was competitive with others I contacted at least for the basic service. - Communication was prompt. - After some re-scheduling on their part, the team did the work swiftly and efficiently. - Most of the terms were clear in advance, using Yelp Projects. Con's - This is a fairly shiesty corner of the home maintenance world. Many providers seem to give you a low-ball estimate to get in the door and then upsell significantly. - Envirosmart is not an exception. - The initial quote was $200. This included scoping the ducts and doing the negative pressure clean-out. - Onsite, they then upsold me to $670 for a more thorough brushing of the vents, sanitation, and some other ancillary services. - They were only modestly well-organized. They called the day-of to reschedule because of a conflict with internal training. They also confirmed a different time than I had originally scheduled. It was the difference of a 9 to 11am original window and a 2:30-3pm arrival. - The Yelp Project communication could have been clearer. They did not specify whether they were calling to quote me or coming to do the service! Amid all this and with some clarification and flexibility on our part, we worked it out. I would have appreciated either a discount or additional service for the delay. None was proffered. I did not go ahead with the upsell as I had already gotten quotes for less from other providers with somewhat more transparent pricing. I think the work they did appeared fine. See attached pics. Your guess is as good as mine which are before and which are after! They did not specify when they sent them to me and email took off the timestamp. I'm hoping the cleaner ones. I probably will try another service when I do this again and with a higher rated provider. All in all, though, I had low expectations and those low expectations were met.

I got a random text on my phone for a $50 tune up on my A.C. I hadn't had it serviced in 9 years…read more So I said what the hell and they came and serviced the unit. I told them that my system never kept up on hot days. They offered a bid and I thought they were totally fair on price. So we pulled the trigger. Especially helped to make my mind up as it was around 78 degrees outside the next day and the old system still didn't keep up. They gave me 2 bids and I opted for the more high efficiency bid. Jacob and Aaron arrived at the house to complete the job. My house being 100 years old, it wasn't the easiest and Jacob had to put in the O.T. to get it done. I was still skeptical that it would keep up. But this new system is actually amazing. We've already hit 90 degrees since the install and my thermostat never varied from 72 degrees where I set it. Im 100% satisfied with this company and would absolutely recommend them. Also when Aaron did the electrical, we had a light start blinking. I wasn't sure if it was from the work they did and so I called the company. Aaron came out and fixed my light and it just happened to be a random occurrence not caused by the work being done. But the discounts to do the furnace and AC was so incredibly good I did both at the same time. He came out for measurements and offered another discount to do the install the next day! Then Brent and his team came right out the next day. What I like the most is the promptness! When they tell you a time the technicians show up at that time and get straight to work. I appreciate the 3 team members working together to take equipment out, explain what they are doing and test everything for quality. The photos helped to ease my mind and not charging me for attic patching saved us an unnecessary bill. The technician turn on the air conditioning and went to the back yard. And come back to me said the compressor is toasted. The sound for that compressor is not right bra bra bra. I know the compressor.is working. The compressor run for 30 second and shut down wait for 2 minutes will start again and it shut down after 30 seconds, and it has good pressure inside the compressor. I paid $130 for that useless system diagnosis report. I have another guy come to check. The guy went up to attic, then he find that wet sensor is dead. That is the problem, $60 fixed. After we change it. The air conditioning is good now. I would never call this company again.
