After the first company I called to clean our dryer vent said it couldn't be done and misdiagnosed the problem I had a hard time finding out who could actually get us up and running again. I called Greenwood Heating who installed our minisplit to see if they had a recommendation and they said to call Ventmasters. Tim was responsive in returning my calls and got someone out quickly to assess the problem. The next visit they were able to quickly fix the problem at a fraction of the original estimate. All 4 of the employees I worked with were polite and punctual. With some recent negative reviews I was wary, but after my experience I have no problem highly recommending Ventmasters. read more

Had multiple vent companies out, they all said I had a super complex problem that was going to be $500+ and also "we can't guarantee it'll solve your issue" Enter VentMasters -- their technician got it all sorted in less than an hour. Said he's not sure what the other companies had issue with, but it was a standard job. I had 2 meetings in the time he was here; nobody could hear a thing. Spoke to Shane on the phone to sort out my invoice and he had it done in under 2 minutes. Will never use anyone else for our vent maintenance + cleaning, quality and professionalism just beat out everywhere else we tried. I'm impressed with VentMasters. I was recommended by local vendors to reach out to them re: dryer vent issue that I noticed in recent week. To cut the story short, while I was at home, I heard the bird making noises and flapping in what I thought was an odd location..it sounded super close the closet that a dryer/washer was situated. I looked around to try to find where thr noises were coming from a bit and determined that there were birds involved...around a vent dryer tube....and I had no idea how to get them out (I honestly could careless about the immediate fix of the dryer..but I just wanted to make sure the bird had the best chance of survival as much ad possible). I called during mid week and they were able to send someone a few days after. Unfortunately, the bird got lost in the pipe and died already. The VentMasters guy explained what happened and helped clean up the dryer vent for me though. It was just by unfortunate chance that the bird got into where it wasn't supposed to be and got lost trying to get out afterwards...I felt bad for the bird...but at least I know I tried my best to help him. Overall, VentMasters service was impressive. They came right on time to my appointment time, were suprr polite and knew exactly what they were doing. They also took the time to explain the situation to me, what I could do or what their recommendations were. The quote they provided was right on point to what I ended up paying as well..so I could see they were super honest! The aervice was super quick! 30 min and they were out on their ways to other appointments already! I highly recommend VentMasters for your dryer vent cleaning needs. Not sure what happened to ventmasters. They've serviced the condo that I'm on the board of for years, including our annual cleaning, but their service has changed in a very strange way. My unit had a disconnected dryer vent line, which ventmasters came out to quote a repair cost for. After that, they have been impossible to get in touch with. Phone calls go straight to voicemail regardless of the time of day that you call. Multiple emails and voicemails go unreturned. I have been trying to reach them for nearly 3 months. If it weren't for the good relationship our condo building had with them, id have given up a long time ago. Not sure how you sustain a business when you don't pick up your phone calls, but unfortunately I have to go elsewhere to repair my individual unit's vent line and our entire building will be looking elsewhere going forward. read more

I'm so impressed and grateful for the work that Tim did for us! We bought a house where we needed to install two sets of washer & dryers with some half-way installed vent work. During the evaluation phase, Tim gave a very thorough explanations of what he was going to do, and helped answered a lot of the questions we have. He called out the parts that we could get to make the installation of the appliance easier. On the day of the vent work, we also scheduled Home Depot delivery of the washer and dryer. I really had a great experience with Vent Masters. Scheduling with straight forward and I was really happy that they did have an opening next day. I had already inspected my vent and understood the issue. My dryer vent joint that connected the house to the main vent came undone. It wasn't something that I was comfortable doing on my own, since it involved opening up the drywall and inspecting the whole line. After the repair was done, they tested the airflow and confirmed that everything was working great and that my dryer vent was clean. The work took about an hour and costed about $200. The price was amazing and I am more than happy with the quality of work. Now I can turn on my dryer without having some of the air trapped around the house. I will be using them again read more

I have lived in my condo for over 15 years and served on the board of the HOA almost the entire time I have lived here. Annually we have had our vents professionally cleaned from the outside and they are supposed to be cleaned from the inside. On July 8, 2022, Ventmasters came to our condo complex to clean the vents. On July 28, 2022, my 7 year old LG dryer stopped working. The heating fuse died due to a lack of air flow caused by the lint that was crammed in the lint catcher. (See attached picture containing a clump of lint pulled out). I contacted Ventmasters and Nathaniel responded in a timely manner stating that they may cover the cost of the repairs but they needed the make and model of my dryer. I promptly sent him the info needed. I followed up with a copy of my receipt from the appliance repair company. And last week I followed up again. Still no word from Vent"Masters". It would appear that they are attempting to master the art of ghosting to go along with their skills of just cramming lint into my dry as opposed to getting any lint out. read more

The "technician" walked into my home with his street shoes (after going in and out of other condos also without covers on his shoes). When I noticed that he didn't have shoe covers on, I asked him why and he said, "Oh, do you want me to put on booties? I usually carry them, but I didn't bring any with me." He went on to say how he "Follows the lead of homeowners." My shoes were outside my door and I had slippers on. So, clearly he was not taking my lead. He said if I wanted him "to take his shoes off and walk around in his socks, he would." He had already walked through my condo with his street shoes so at that point, the damage was done. As soon as he left, I had to pull-up my rugs and wash them and vacuum my carpeting. If this man is any indication, VentMasters has no COVID 19 protocols in place. Walking in and out of condos and apartments with street shoes (while most homeowners are not present) is indefensible during a pandemic. Masks and shoe covers are the most basic way to prevent spreading the virus as our economy tries to re-open. VentMasters should ensure that their techs arrive prepared to safely enter homes without placing homeowners and tenants in the uncomfortable position of having to ask them to not track diseases from the street and from one unit to the next. In my case, asking did no good, because he'd already traipsed through my condo with his street shoes because he didn't have shoe covers with him. read more

He explained what needed to be done for repairs, as well as answered questions I had about dryer venting. He worked efficiently and did an absolute excellent job. The day he was working was one super hot day and he had to dress in full overalls and go into my crawl space. He did it all with such a great attitude. Very nice person. So I noticed that there has not been a review written on Vent Masters. They specialize in maintaining and cleaning out dryer vents. Well, I give them a 5star review and if I could give them more I would. I continued to get "flow" error messages on my new LG dryer. It has a sensor in it to notify you if there is a hose connection issue and/or your dry vent to the outside is clogged. The pickle is...I live in a newly built very contemporary home and the dry vent is located 30+ feet high. Many companies I called would not go those heights to clean out my vent (and it had to be done from the outside). Vent Masters was referred to me by two different companies that I called so I called them. NO problem Clarence said. We carry very tall ladders and could have a look to see what was going on. In fact Clarence sounded so confident with everything he said and seemed to know already what my issues were without seeing anything. He also sensed my urgency and said we can be out tomorrow. Yeah!!! Vance came out and what a nice guy, and climbed up the side of one wall and that was not the dryer vent. He looked around the entire house and we found the vent. Vance grabs another ladder and climbs up again cleaned the vent and replaced the vent cover with the proper device, mutiflapper, and NOT the mesh cover the builder of our home put on. This mesh cover was holding the lint in and not allowing any thing to flow out. Who does that!! Thank you thank you Vent Masters! Now I am on a yearly rotation for them to cal me very 12 months to come back out. That was the BEST $150. I ever spent!!! read more

Called to make an appointment on a Monday, and they had me scheduled by Wednesday- talk about quick! Andrew was very efficient, honest, did a great job cleaning the outside dryer vent, and he took out an abandoonned bird's nest that was inside. No wonder my dryer was no longer heating up properly! Andrew recommended that I have my vents cleaned every five to eight years also. I highly recommend these guys- quick turnaround and does not try to sell extra stuff not needed. read more

Hard working staff---Nathaniel and Andrew! I have a 3-story townhouse with the dryer vent runs a long way to the side of house. The exit is high (between 2nd and 3rd floor. The staff climbed up using to 28 foot ladder, used motorized brush to loose the heavy lint, and brew it from inside. They also approached from inside. Throughly clean the dryer vent. Can't image how much lint is cleaned out. Both men worked in a professional way! Very happy from the results! Highly recommend! read more

The re-route didn't turn out to be possible, but they replaced the old flexible junk with hard pipe all the way to the dryer and cleaned everything out.
