Dominic and David did a great job completing the install of our new heat pump and furnace HVAC system. Love that it works with our existing Ecobee thermostat and Apple HomeKit setup. System is very efficient with excellent airflow and filtration. Mayster was always prompt and courteous whenever I called and made the entire process easy to do. Thanks for being a fantastic local company and taking care of my family. read more

Mayster Heating and Air is amazing! Esther and Tailor helped me get an appointment for my grandfather. Ken came out and did a fabulous job getting the system ready for the winter and now I can rest easy knowing he is taken care of. I recommend Mayster Heating & Air, plus they do Electrical now, to everyone I know. The prices are reasonable and the quality of service is the best! read more

Fast service, great communication and did a thorough job. Very pleasant to work with!

If you're looking for HVAC services in the Tacoma area, these guys are worth checking out. Whether it's AC repair, furnace tune-up, or just figuring out why your system's acting up, they seem to really know their stuff. Nikita especially, that guy's got energy and actually cares. You can tell he's not just going through the motions. Solid people, great value, would recommend! read more

I reached out about reducing low-frequency vibrations caused by a mini-split AC system, and Mayster was the ONLY service provider who answered with any sort of meaningful experience/expertise in the matter. They were able to quickly get a tech out to address the issue, and the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend Mayster! read more

I reached out and was told by David that i could not get a quote over the phone. I immediately advised i would contact the firm during regular business hours. David continues to contact me, now just asking 'if I'm serious'. I am being badgered by this person and company. I blocked this person and reported them but just got vintages again, at 4am, asking 'if im serious'. I'm hoping yelp will help me. read more

They were able to squeeze me in last minute on a Friday and did a great job troubleshooting the issue with our older furnace. Rates were competitive and reasonable. I would recommend them and will use them again in the future. read more

My heat pump went out on our first scorching day of the year. I called the original installer and they were not helpful at all. I called Mayster based on the reviews and I couldn't be happier. Talked with Ester, who was amazing, got set up for an appointment day of. My tech Ken arrived promptly a d sorted the issue quickly. Couldn't be more impressed and happy with a team and the service. 10 out of 5 stars. read more

This company is amazing! They show up on time, do what they say they're going to do AND that are pleasant & professionals.

i provided all the info and they just kept on asking more. Not sure what they are trying to do with all my personal information. I was very upfront that I needed a comparable quote for a new system and submitted all the photos and model numbers. I even had to give them my phone number just so they can solicit me. Very disappointed on time wasted. read more

They were able to get me scheduled quickly. Technician was friendly, explained what he did, took pictures and gave a useful write-up. Really 4.75 stars. Only thing I have to say that isn't "glowing" is the ceiling attic access wasn't shut very well after he was done (we had to get a ladder to shut it properly) and there were a few pieces of insulation on the floor. read more

Vladimir came and explained that our system needed replacing he was very nice and helpful.

I would recommend this company, even though they didn't do any service for me. They answered the phone and they answered my questions and they help me understand how my heating system was working and that it was normal. My experience is, not a lot of businesses even answer their phones anymore. read more

I gotta say I was very impressed with the service I received from Mayster Heating & Air. My furnace conked out unexpectedly and I was surely expecting the worst given the age of the system, however their technician Simon was able to restore operation and revive the old beast, at least for now. Now looking forward to working with them again in the future to replace the old system with a new high efficiency unit when the time is right. Thanks Simon, you are a miracle worker! read more

We are quite pleased with the heat pump system that Simply Efficient installed five months ago and their approach to their work and their approach to us, as customers. Dmitryi presented alternatives for us to consider. We chose the pricier option which involved two different systems, one for the main floor and a separate system upstairs. Both are vented systems as we did not want splitters in our vintage craftsman bungalow. They were responsive, organised, hard working, and they showed us a little problem beyond their scope of work for us to address, later. They brought a large crew and they worked well into the evening in an effort to complete the entire project in one day. They almost accomplished that and completed the job in an hour the next morning. Their work is tidy and neat. This winter our home has been much more comfortable and more evenly heated than before. We will see how the heat pump works this summer. Never had air conditioning before. As they warned us, the cost of going from gas to electric upped our overall (combined) utility bills by about 5% but I am happy to make that change to reduce our carbon footprint. read more

Called them for an issue on my heater, came out the next day and fixed it right away. The hvac tech Hunter is very professional and nice throughout the process. read more

Mayster Heating & Air (previously Simply Efficient) installed a heat pump & air handler in my home and did an amazing job! I vetted 8 contractors prior to choosing Mayster and found that they were the most thorough and professional in their assessment. They were competitive on price, extremely responsive & patient with my never-ending questions, and went above and beyond to provide stellar customer service. I can't recommend them highly enough! read more

David kindly provided a second opinion on a furnace issue that my current HVAC company couldn't quite figure out unfortunately despite the time and money I'm spending on this with them. I appreciated David's candid approach in our interactions. I'd definitely reach out to David first when the next HVAC issue arises. Their diagnostic offer is probably the best in town (e.g., the diagnostic cost counts toward the repair cost, which is often billed separately elsewhere). read more

They were able to come out in less than 24 hours, fixed my AC emergency and left both mini splits in sparkling clean condition. The technician, Mark, was very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. read more

From the quoting process with Dimitri, to scheduling with Esther, and our installation team led by Alex... the entire team is awesome to work with. We purchased a new name brand heat pump system from them for a very competitive price (believe me, I saw a handful of quotes and massive variance in price and equipment) and the entire process was too easy. Looking forward to staying cool on hot summer days while saving money on energy costs without running portable units around the clock (if you need a portable unit hmu) Thanks Simply Efficient team! read more

I started looking to add AC and replace a furnace in late spring, and I didn't expect it to take so long to find a good company. My first experience was with a company out of Kent who had good reviews. They completely caught me off guard when the person who takes the calls had a bizarre emotional outburst. I still don't know what to think about that. Then I called several others, some of which didn't call back. One went out to the property but never sent a quote. Some were a little too "salesy". One quote came out suspiciously low. I then settled on Simply Efficient, and they did a great job. Dimitry communicated with me all the way and got the job done on time and for a decent price. Would definitely use them again. read more

Great experience all around, from the initial scheduling to diagnosis and ultimately installation of a new heat pump system. Everyone was great to work with. Alex and Andrew really knocked it out of the park with the installation in terms of speed and professionalism. The whole team really went out of their way to ensure the entire process was smooth and seamless. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to work with them again! read more

Awesome experience from start to finish with Simply Efficient. Dmitry is first class and a true pleasure to work with. I did my research and had gotten 6 quotes, but Simply Efficient won out because of their honesty, vast experience, and proven track record. Alex was my installer and he did a superb job installing my Mitsubishi mini split. I had interactions with multiple members of the team--Dmitry, Esther, Vlad, Alex and Oleg---they all treated me with respect and were extremely pleasant to deal with. It's easy to see why this company has been successful and will continue to grow and prosper as they consistently keep the customer first. Thank you for a job well done Simply Efficient! read more

We had some trouble finding someone in the Seattle area who could fix our Fujitsu Halcyon Mini Split and often got turned down by other companies once they found out what model our ductless units were. However, I'm glad that I found Simply Efficient since Vlad was very knowledgeable and got the job done. Scheduling with Esther was a breeze too and they were able to make an appointment really soon. Both of them were really nice people to work with and I'd recommend! read more

The team did a great job installing my ductless mini split. They were great in terms of sticking to my budget after shopping around for quotes from other companies, they offered very competitive pricing plus made sure to measure out the space in order to size the correct system. Dmitri made sure to walk me through my options and what would qualify for federal tax credits. Also I would not let the number of yelp reviews put you off their google and thumbtack reviews checkout. The team was very knowledgeable and attentive as to not make a mess during the install. read more

When I was looking to replace my furnace and add an air conditioner I didn't know where to look, so I got quotes from 3 companies. I'm very pleased that I chose Simply Efficient not only for the price but the knowledge David has with all the brands of furnaces/ACs. He told me what's good/better/best and which brands to avoid. The installation looks good and was quick. I highly recommend his company! read more
