    Bryce and Efer had everything tidy around my newly installed 5 ton Colman AC

    While time will tell how my AC does, I have to say that Bryce and Efer have exceeded the performance of every AC repair people I have dealt with over the past 21 years. No excuses, no missing parts, no showing up late & leaving early. They arrived at 8:30 am as promised and worked extremely hard almost non-stop in historic 111 degrees heat to finish the installation of a new furnace and AC in one day as promised. They were polite & trustworthy. I had to run a couple errands but left the door open so they could get to the thermostat. My security cameras showed they worked diligently and never went where they didn't belong in my absence. My house was a blazing 93 degrees from the record heat so the AC had an impossible task with temps in the upper 90's at 9pm but I enjoyed cool air blasting to make the house tolerable by bedtime. Prior to this I rated AC companies worse than pimps and lawyers and had a well earned hatred towards them, but AAA's high quality service from the first visit through the completion give me hope that there actually one honest company in King County! -1 star for the outrageous price for the worst efficiency rated furnace and AC

    Had a wall heater go crazy, and I mean crazy like there was a monkey in there beating drums. I opened up the wall heater and scratched my head. Previous home owners went wild with the wiring. Okay, scratch my head some more and close the vent... Realized I should call AAA Heating & Air, because they did a fantastic job last time on our thermostat. Also, I didnt feel like being electrocuted this year. 2020 is already bad enough! AAA H&A responded super fast and sent out their tech on 10/16/2020, (quote was requested at night on 10/14/2020). Their tech was named Chris, and he was by far our best vendor we've had work inside our home. Courteous, professional, but also very educating. Most techs want you to go away and come back later, but if you're like me and like to learn, it's fun to stand back and watch (not in a creepy manner of course). Chris welcomed me to watch and gave me some electrical advice by answering all my questions. Overall, I 100% recommend this company to everyone!

    We bought a $12k heat pump and furnace system from them, March 2021 with a 10 year labor and parts warranty. Everything seemed to be working fine until now. It stopped working suddenly this weekend and the home is freezing. We have a house full of people and babies. We called them Saturday and they said they would call us back and did not. We called again on Sunday. After a few different calls and time spent holding, they told us we were on the schedule for Monday. We even received a confirmation text. Then on Monday, we waited and waited and never got an arrival window. We called a few times throughout the day and they kept telling us we were a priority and would get seen. After 6pm, we got a text message saying the wouldn't come until the week of the 24th!! When we called, they said that was a mistake and could put us on the schedule for Thursday (1/18). Now it's Tuesday and I can't get them to respond to anything. They say sorry but have not offered to put us on schedule or support us in any way with their own equipment and for repeat customers.

He thoroughly explained everything and did a thorough walk through. //COMMUNICATION AND QUOTE// I liked that Andrey followed up with us to check in with us. Again other quotes took more than 3+ days. Andrey had a quote within 1 business day. He emailed us asking if we had further questions. //DAY OF// Vasilly and his team (Mark, Ed, Lubec and Alex) arrived promptly! They did another thorough assessment and provided two solutions: Going through our attic or going along the exterior soffit. Our house has a unique challenge in that our siding is fiber cement with bricks in the wall. They were extremely communicative, cleaned thoroughly, and finished within ~5 hours. Everything turned out fantastic! They made everything look so clean and so sleek! He was able to promptly provide a ballpark estimate for different options, and I picked one option to get a detailed quote. Also got two other quotes. Went with Goat to replace the furnace as well as an aging air conditioner with a new heat pump and furnace. Great service, got it installed quickly once Andrey received it. Price was great and very competitive with the other ones. House is warm and toasty, and energy bills are lower with the heat pump providing heating when it's not cold enough for the furnace. Would recommend and use again if needed.

    tldr - if it's related to HVAC, call the installer of your HVAC system if possible…read more I called Green Bear to take a look at an HVAC system (on second floor) that was leaking water on the 1st floor ceiling (due to AC condensation). They sent someone over, who didn't really open the HVAC system panel much. I didn't seem confident that this would fix it. But they recommended to fix the drain pan inside the evaporator coil box, which they said was much more expensive. For clearing the drain pipe and gluing a loose pipe, which didn't actually fix the main problem, they still billed me $300 - diagnostic fee ($99) + 1 hour ($199) - (there's a 3% credit card fee, but they accept checks) 4 or 5 hours later, there was dripping again. I ended up calling Bob's, they sent 2 technicians who knew what they were doing (they opened the panel properly), they found and fixed the issue - it did not involve replacing a drain pan. Bob's only charged me the diagnostic fee of $175 and did the job right (compared to $300 that Green Bear charged)

    We were referred to Aircare USA to have our air ducts cleaned. My husband called and asked for a…read morequote. He was sold on an "air scrubber". I asked him what that meant, he said it was like an air purifier. He was told we would be only paying for the air duct clean and the product itself. He was originally quoted $800 for the cleaning and the air scrubber for a $1600 package deal. We have an Aerus Air Scrubber cut in and installed into our HVAC system. As I walked in the door that night from work, I said, "why does it smell like an ozonator in here?" He asked me what that was. I explained that it was something that sucks the oxygen out of room to remove strong orders quickly. Companies that do Bio-hazard clean-up and restoration commonly use these machines. I am very familiar with this smell, as I have been in property management for 15 years. In fact, I own a small one for vacant homes. Ozone machines can make people very ill. My husband immediately notified Jim, the owner, that my son and I were smelling this odor and were getting headaches and our eyes were watering. It's important to note: we experienced NONE of these symptoms before AirCare USA. Jim claimed that they do not use ozone as they tried that once and he knows its bad. He had no idea what we could be smelling. Maybe it was the "sanitizer" they spray in the machine. He asked us to give it a little while longer. A week passed and still the smell was there and we were even more sick. I got on a step stool and unplugged the machine. When we called to ask them to remove it "100% Customer Guarantee" they pushed us out weeks. The day before the appointment I called Jim and asked how we would be reimbursed. He told me it would be up to Alex and he wasn't sure how much but he would cut us a check. Late that evening I received a text telling me we were not receiving anything back. During the appointment, Alex told my husband we would only see a refund had they been able to get their money back from the company. My husband asked why we should be on the hook for $1600 for something that was making us sick, Alex asked why HE should be on the hook for it. They buy these units in bulk and can't return them. He also said there was nothing in the unit and he has no idea what we would smell. As Alex was leaving my husband had to ask for our piece of equipment back that makes us sick, that they were going to take and not refund us any money. We have a patch in our HVAC system, you cannot find this model number of air scrubber on the internet anywhere and we are still out money. This was our experience with AirCare USA.

So when we needed help again recently, it felt like reconnecting with a trusted name. And they didn't disappoint. This past weekend, my mum noticed our basement was flooding -- water was pouring from the pressure relief valve on our hot water tank. After doing some research, we managed to shut the tank off, but that left us without any hot water. Not exactly a fun situation! (We were half-joking about heading to the gym just to grab a shower.) I didnt get good vibes from the original company when I asked them about repairs and warranties, especially when I asked them why it failed and why I should expect it to not fail again. Mark was super helpful. There were actually somehow multiple spots where the line set was kinked and leaking due to the original installers error. Mark was able to find and fix these leaks very quickly and he seemed very trustworthy and honest. If I have any issues I will definitely call them again
