We'll likely paint the cord covers they added but this is in the back of the house where no one can really see

Peter and his team did a great job on installing 4 ductless mini splits to our townhouse! We had to wait a while for parts to come in due to supply chain issues during the pandemic, but Peter kept me posted throughout the process. -Installation was just one day, vs 2-3 days that other companies quoted - Very competitive price compared to other options - Quality and workmanship was excellent - We had some building limitations that impacted the design; for example, we couldn't center the AC unit above the window because we didn't have enough space to the ceiling, but it looks fine. The installation team was very communicative and worked with me on any design decisions before doing the work, which I appreciated. I'd highly recommend Home Comfort and Cooling to anyone!

Petr and his crew just completed a 42K Ductless system with 5 zones at our townhouse. They were punctual on the installation day, and completed the job within 6 hours. We are impressed with their work. As a matter of fact, other homeowners nearby are requesting for his service after seeing our system.

I reached out to 11 companies for an estimate to get an outdoor AC unit installed for our existing central air system. Out of those 11, only 9 got back to me and 6 were able to give me an estimate within a reasonable amount of time (during late July at the peak of summer). Peter from Home Comfort Heating & Cooling was not only prompt and courteous, but was also able to give me a quote after sending him ample and detailed pictures of our set up. This might not be possible with every estimate, but ours was a new construction home with ductwork and refrigeration lines already ran. I did my due diligence and checked that Home Comfort Heating & Cooling was licensed, bonded, and insured on the WA State Department of Labor and Industries website. And I also checked that he had no negative complaints on the Better Business Bureau. I was willing to take a chance with Home Comfort even though the company is newer than other companies (I.e. Bob's Heating says that have been around since 1957 - but the age of a company wasn't a metric that was high on my list of reasons to choose a company). After I received quotes from other companies and spoke with Peter on the phone, I decided to go with Home Comfort. I called on a Friday at 4:15pm and was able to make an appointment literally for the next day, even though he typically doesn't work on Saturdays. Peter and Victor from Home Comfort showed up early in the morning and were ready to get to work. He assessed the situation and was able to give honest information on the placement of the unit and how the builder took shortcuts in installing some of the outlets around the refrigeration lines near the furnace and leading outside. Overall the install took about 4 hours and Peter and Victor didn't mind that I hung around and bugged them with questions. Now we're sitting in our cool house in the middle of summer and happy we went with Home Comfort Heating & Cooling.

External AC replacement, 16 seer American standard.

We recently had Home Comfort replace an old AC installation that no longer worked (wasn't working when we purchased the home). We got quotes from a few places but Peter was very knowledgeable. His quote was also very reasonable. They were able to come out and do the job a week after getting the quote. The crew was very professional and quick.

When I talked with Peter at Home Comfort he said he'd have someone out to our house that afternoon.

The backstory: my family and I were in Alaska when the PNW had a big freeze and our pool heat pump condenser and above ground pipes froze and burst. No one was able to come to our home for a couple weeks due to all the other customer priorities dealing with the aftermath of the storm. I completely get it...a pool is not a priority when others are without heat. So our son purchased and installed a new condenser to get the pool water flowing to avoid frozen water in the pool cracking our pool walls and creating a much bigger problem! Our next challenge was to find a way to purchase and install a highly regulated refrigerant requiring a license and special tools. We soon learned that DIYing the refrigerant to get the heat pump working was not possible. For over three years I called different service companies asking for help - pool service companies such as Aquaquip who originally sold and installed the unit, and AquaCal; a different AquaCal, the manufacturer of the pool heat pump; other dozens of other HVAC contractors too numerous to mention except I will mention my serious disappointment with South Sound Plumbing with whom we spend a lot of money annually to service our other home heat pumps. After 30 different phone calls none would help us. "Too risky they" said, "wouldn't be able to warranty the work" said others. The truth? Our problem was simply too small a job or didn't fit their known expertise. Northwest was willing to help (BTW they showed up on the top of a list of HVAC contractors during my ChatGPT co-thinking session). I'm so grateful to Darlene (who took my call and listened with compassion to my unusual problem. I'm grateful to Zane, Northwest's Service Manager, who spent time deeply listening, brainstorming an approach, and getting someone out to our home. Finally, heartfelt kudos to Nate, our HVAC tech wizard, who successfully got our pool heat pump heating water! Yahoo! If you've got an HVAC challenge that doesn't fit neatly into your current HVAC service company's service menu or you want to partner with a company who really cares about delivering value and a great customer experience, I highly recommend Northwest Expert Heating, Cooling, and Electrical!

I had a heat pump installed. The work was supposed to be warrantied for 2 years. After about a…read moreyear, I noticed bolts were getting loose. They failed to install proper vibration pads, which I can understand, but it really should be corrected. At the next service appointment, I reported the issue expecting it to be fixed. Unfortunately, they've since consistently delayed and outright refused to fix the problem. I followed up at least 5 times - each time being told I'll get a call back. Thankfully the issue isn't having a big impact on the heat pump itself, but it is disappointing that they've failed to honor their service contract.
