Wonderful service today from Rick the owner and his apprentice. My furnace went out over the holiday. I rent so I had to wait fro my property management company to call someone out. They were on their way as soon as they got the call, and drove through the snow and ice to get here. Very quickly fixed the furnace and had the heat going in no time. This company is amazing! Our heat at our rental house was not working at all. We have a "zone" system because we have our rental and a mother in law house connected, so we called the company and Angela sent someone out to help us right away. We have had other companies try to help but it never lasted. We had patriot come out about 2 months age and it is still working flawlessly. If this matters you you, the technician did not take any COVID19 precautions in our residence. They also didn't use any sort of shoe protection on the carpet. Kinda disrespectful if you ask me, but he was relatively polite aside from that. Otherwise repair went fine so far, however a precursor to the issue has already returned so we'll see how that works out. read more

It had been 4 years since our last furnace tune-up and I feared the worst, like a recommendation for expensive parts. However, the tech (Landon) was extremely informative and it just ended up as a routine tune-up at the quoted price, which was a fair one. He pointed out a couple of things (like the dead electronic air filter and old venting) but did not push nor even recommend any changes. I was recommended to this company by my realtor. I scheduled a servicing appointment for the house I just purchased to have my AC and Furnace serviced. Angela is very sweet and she even sent me a reminder text which I had requested because my memory is not the best with all my kids. Chris arrived on time and was very kind and professional. Took time to make sure everything with functioning properly. He found an issue with the AC and there was no pressure to fix it but I still decided better to replace the part than wait for it to die on its own. He was not able to get a full check on the refrigeration level of the AC because of the cold weather but told me if I have any issues just to call in. Well this past weekend hit 85 and guess whose AC decided not to cool down the house I left a message and Angela promptly got in touch with me during the after hours which I thought was so nice because the situation was stressful. Chris came out at no charge like he said and found there was a leak but could not figure out where it was exactly coming from so he scheduled a follow up. A few days later Chris and Rick(owner) came back(the weather cooled btw which is why a few days was fine with me) to find where the leak was. They spent a good hour inspecting everything until they found a very tiny leak in a valve that emptied my entire 5lbs of refrigerant over 6-7 years of the homes lifespan. Rick and Chris took a lot of time explaining things to me and I felt you could see how long they had been in this business. Even after they finished repairing and replacing the refrigerant, Rick took the time to answer any other questions I had. I recommend this company because they are honest and their prices are extremely fair. It's a family operated business and they have the experience to back it. We will be lifetime customers but I really hope I only see them for annual service on my units Thank you again Angela, Chris and Rick!!! read more

I had this company come out In June to replace an old unit. Two men were here. I told them they didn't have to wear their masks but they insisted on wearing the blue booties so they would not get my floors dirty. They were very professional and friendly. I was grateful for their excellent work. My house cooled down right away and I love it. Patriot Heating repaired my furnace 09/22/2014 and it worked for three Months. I was not impressed with their service. The proceeded to do the repair without letting me know the cost or the cause. It was not until they handed me the bill that I knew what was wrong and what it cost. They replaced the pressure switch with a $22 part and charged me $240. My experience does not end there. The furnace failed in again in December 2014 and I troubleshoot the issue to the pressure switch they installed. however I noticed something unusual. The switch was installed with the electrical contacts set for NC (Normally closed) instead of NO (Normally Open) this is actually backwards as the furnace functions on positive pressure and will actuate to a closed circuit position. I could not understand how this could be until I removed the part for inspection. The technician Rick installed the part without the calibration/actuation spring so the switch was not actually functioning. The Pressure switch in a furnace is actually a safety mechanism. It actuates on positive air flow pressure from the furnace fan so that the gas valve will not open unless their is adequate air flow through that system. I installed the new pressure switch I obtained from an online dealer and installed it with the proper electrical configuration. All is functioning correctly now. Needless to say I will never do business with this company again and neither should you. By installing a non-functioning part they put my entire family at risk. Please remember this post if you are looking for a repair to be done on your furnace. read more

Rick is awesome! After almost two weeks without heat, he was the third guy I had out to look at my furnace. (Third time's the charm, right?) He actually spent time troubleshooting and locating the problem and fixed it. I didn't even need any parts, it was just a couple of wires that were reversed. He's friendly, knowledgeable and didn't charge me an arm & leg like the other guys. I will use him in the future and definitely recommend him. read more
