The first quote I received was the price of a small, used car to repair a freeze damaged underground water line to my shop. The break was within 1 foot of where it daylighted from underground. At the price quoted, I was debating whether to repair it at all. I then got a quote from MV Plumbing, and it was 15.8% the amount of the other. That is not a typo, or 15.8% discount over the other quote, it was literally 1/6th the amount of the other company. Not sure if they used a different approach to the work or not. They showed up at 8:00 AM, and left at 8:50 AM, so you know they did not misquote the work to be done. I had installed a water meter, so could immediately verify the repair was proper and not leaking. Anyway, this is my 'Go To' plumbing company for sure, and another lesson in why we all need to get more than one quote whenever possible.

As soon as I called Fred that morning before I could even introduce myself, Fred immediately knew who I was. I called Fred at 10am and he had 2 guys show up by noon. Now that's service! Especially since it was 2 days before Christmas. Fred told me he would call a half hour prior before his guys would show up. Fred originally called an hour later about 11am but I was out shopping for Christmas dinner. He sent his guys to a job in Seattle first and I received another call from him a half hour later and his guys showed up at noon. I love how Fred kept me updated throughout the whole process. The two gentlemen that showed up were considerate and put some protection on their shoes so they don't get my carpet dirty. I lead them to my master bathroom and they worked away. Unfortunately. the part that was needed to fix my faucet wasn't readily available in their truck so they had to go out and purchase it. I was glad they were able to purchase the specific model and only charged me for the part, which was quite a reasonable price...of course including the labor. The guys did a wonderful job fixing my master bath faucet and cleaned up nicely after themselves. I highly recommend Aardvark Rooter!

I stopped to talk and they said they were out of Auburn WA but that they have family on Vashon Island and that they work out and around the island now and again. They are licensed to do plumbing in new construction, remodeling and commercial. They also work and install boilers, on-demand hot waters and do a bit of drain cleaning. It was nice meeting up with these guys again, very down to earth and personable.
