(2/20/26) Recommend. Efer and Alec did a good job custom-installing our new Mitsubishi heat pump and ac units. They were professional, on time, and hard working. The efficiency of the new HVAC is a noticeable upgrade from the last, a system that came with our (new at purchase--now, 22 y.o.) home. Though the system lasted us a long time, it was never the right BTU for the size of the house. The old HVAC thermometer was around 6 or 7 degrees off. Plus, there were always cold (during winter months) and hot (during summer months) spots at the farthest corners of the house. Now, the uniformity of the temperature throughout the house makes it seem like a new and improved home. Hopefully, this will last a very long time. We are only 7 weeks out from the fresh install. Efer (owner) was very knowledgeable. He was communicative with my questions via text beforehand, and Alec was very informative and gave me the quote at the beginning of this project. Needed a fast turn around on the furnace in our rental. Was available to inspect and provide a quote within 24 hours of my posting. What set Alec apart was that he asked to call me back immediately following his inspection to go over the quote in detail, which I accepted. He provided several details that allowed me to compare the quotes I would receive from others with what he was quoting, equipment wise. This allowed me to compare "apples to apples", as I reviewed the quotes (4 other quotes received). Some of the others either came in late, were the same price for lesser content, or just did not justify their quotes to the same degree. We finalized the deal, including hooking me up w/ 0% financing for 18 months and was able to install the next day. I was in New Orleans at the time and although we were able to do this entire transaction remotely, he still came out when I returned to go over everything with me F2F. It went so well that when I found out I needed some additional work done (by the gas company inspector) he was able to give me another quote and complete that job as well, before the new tenants moved in. He was by far, the best communicator of all of the people/companies I worked with in getting this job completed. I went with Air Pro Solutions to install a ducted Mitsubishi heat pump after getting quotes from four different companies to replace my old electric furnace. Setting up an appointment was easy over text, and Alec spent about an hour and a half taking measurements and answering my questions during his initial visit to give me a free estimate. I'd done some research beforehand and had a good idea of the heat pump I wanted. I chose to proceed with Alec based on his quality of work (which I saw in his portfolio), responsiveness, and a competitive quote for the equipment I wanted. I knew they're not a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor--which would extend the parts warranty from 10 to 12 years--but I still felt confident going with them. It'd be nice if they got that certification in the future. The installation took two days, with Alec and Efer mostly working together. Everything was installed with good attention to detail and looked tidy. They also hauled away my old equipment and left my garage as clean as they found it. I've had the system for just over two weeks, and it's been working great so far. My only complaint is that the permit process was a bit of a hassle because of scheduling issues with city inspectors. That said, both inspectors praised the install quality and passed everything without any issues. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Air Pro Solutions to anyone looking for furnace replacement. I came across Alec at Air Pro Solutions in a time of emergency - forecast for the week was frigid and my furnace/thermostat stopped working. Air Pro was one of the few companies who responded to my request for information/services from yelp who tried to help me troubleshoot free of charge in efforts to get me up and running. They ended up having to assess situation onsite but did not charge exorbitant weekend/after hours rates. They arrived when they said they would (and proactively provided an update on their ETA) which is a godsend in the contracted services world. After inspection, Alec outlined to me all options including cost and associated pros and cons. We aligned on a medium term fix with prospect for establishing a service contract. I am a value shopper and Air Pro's pricing is very reasonable. Lo and behold, I encountered another HVAC problem recently, and I was treated with same great text-leading-to-visit service. Alec remembered my system and furnace/AC set up upon sending a couple of photos. They arrived next day and handled the issue within an hour and squeezed me in for follow up service within next 48 hour window. I am COO of the house and have felt only the opposite of being "mansplained." Alec does an amazing job breaking down options and answering questions, without excess jargon.
