He was always willing to jump on the phone to answer any questions, which I appreciated a lot. My house was built prior to 1989 so I received a nice PSE rebate for the work. On the day of, Jo's crew were quick and efficient and provided Before and After photos. They removed my old vapor barrier and insulation and replaced with new one, added new dryer vent duct and flapper, and added new roof vents for all my bathroom fans, and much more. I was able to ask them questions during and provided water and snacks to them for their hard work. The crew respected my home and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. After the work was completed, I thanked Jo for making this all possible and being easy to work with. We went over some of the After pictures together over the phone to help me learn about everything and ask additional questions. They even sent a crewmember to come back for a 2-week follow-up on the work to make sure everything still looks good. We chose Super Attic Solutions based on their strong BBB rating, positive reviews, and the sales pitch that emphasized thorough follow‑up and post‑project support. We received three quotes for our attic and basement work; Super Attic Solutions was not the cheapest, but the promised inspections and customer care were the deciding factor for us. The crew that performed the work was respectful, efficient, and left the space clean. However, everything that happened after they left has been the opposite of what was promised. The sales rep assured us that an "inspector" would return a few weeks after completion to verify that: No rodents had re‑entered the home All work met code Any questions or concerns would be addressed He even mentioned a 6‑month follow‑up to ensure long‑term satisfaction. None of this happened. When I asked the project manager to walk the space with the crew, he was hesitant. I'm glad I insisted -- four ceiling lights were sealed incorrectly and left hanging an inch from the ceiling. I was told an "inspector" would come fix them, so the crew left and I was left with blue tape holding up my lights. A week later, our AC wouldn't shut off. I discovered the furnace (located in the attic) had been wrapped in insulation -- a fire hazard and not to code -- and no clear path had been left for HVAC access. When I called urgently, I was asked to send photos and then told a "supervisor with tons of experience" reviewed them and everything was fine. It wasn't. I had to pay an HVAC company to confirm the hazard, and only then was I told they might reimburse up to $500 because they didn't think they could send someone out. When the "inspector" finally arrived, they were not inspectors at all -- it was two members of the original crew. They fixed the lights (well no disrespect) and removed the insulation, from the furnace just laying on the air ducts. However, as we were communicating via technology translator, I could not get any answer to any questions and was told to call the office. Since then, I've left multiple messages through their AI system and sent two emails. I have given this company over 4 weeks to uphold the customer service they say they hold themselves to and I still haven't gotten a single phone call, let alone an "inspector" to look over the work, but they my check cashed. Bottom line: The initial work was fine, but the promised follow‑up and customer care simply do not exist. Once the crew leaves, you are on your own. Edit: After follow-up discussion with the company, I no longer believe this was a bait and switch, just poor communication from the woman in the office, the original estimator, and the people on-site who showed up to do the work. Each of the three areas that I was expecting to be done (attic, walls, crawlspace) had legitimate reasons for why they couldn't be done.

I was shocked, with the PSE rebate, which NW Insulation takes care of, the estimate was thousands less than I thought it would be! I signed up, and a day or so later I got a call to schedule the install, again, surprisingly, they could do it right away and I scheduled for about a week out. The installers got to my house about 8am and were very polite and professional. They basically worked all day, got the job done, and were on their way. They left everything clean and it is amazing to me how the house looked when they were done. They blew in the insulation from the exterior and the method that they used left no trace, they removed a course of siding, drilled holes, filled the walls, plugged the holes, and replaced the siding. You can't even tell that they were there. I have only had a few hot days to determine if there has been an improvement and honestly it really does seem to stay cooler inside, looking forward to winter for the real test. All in all, this has been a great experience, I very highly recommend NW Insulation for your project.

Lately the upstairs rooms always felt dusty and the temperature kept changing a lot, cold at night and warm during the day. Someone suggested checking the attic and once it was opened it was pretty obvious the insulation was very old and the space needed a real cleaning. Team came out and took their time looking around first. They explained what they were seeing and why the old insulation was not really doing its job anymore. There was a lot of buildup, old insulation, dust, and just years of stuff sitting in the attic. Once they started removing everything it was kind of surprising how much came out. Whole attic was cleaned out properly before anything new went in. They also pointed out a few small openings where air was getting in and sealed those while they were up there. After that the new insulation was installed and the difference started to show pretty quickly. Upstairs already feels more comfortable and the house keeps the temperature much better. Air feels cleaner too, which was something that was noticed almost right away. One thing that stood out was how careful they were during the process. They covered areas they were walking through and cleaned everything before leaving so there was no mess left behind. Attic cleaning and insulation is probably one of those things people forget about until it becomes a problem. Looking back it probably should have been done earlier, but really glad it finally got taken care of. House feels better overall and it just gives peace of mind knowing the attic is clean and properly insulated now. Really good experience from start to finish.

I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job. I've had quite a few companies do various types of jobs for me, and there are only two who I'd recommend. Mathew with Puget Sound Water Rescue is one of them!

I asked him what that meant, he said it was like an air purifier. He was told we would be only paying for the air duct clean and the product itself. He was originally quoted $800 for the cleaning and the air scrubber for a $1600 package deal. We have an Aerus Air Scrubber cut in and installed into our HVAC system. As I walked in the door that night from work, I said, "why does it smell like an ozonator in here?" He asked me what that was. I explained that it was something that sucks the oxygen out of room to remove strong orders quickly. Companies that do Bio-hazard clean-up and restoration commonly use these machines. I am very familiar with this smell, as I have been in property management for 15 years. In fact, I own a small one for vacant homes. Ozone machines can make people very ill. My husband immediately notified Jim, the owner, that my son and I were smelling this odor and were getting headaches and our eyes were watering. It's important to note: we experienced NONE of these symptoms before AirCare USA. Jim claimed that they do not use ozone as they tried that once and he knows its bad. He had no idea what we could be smelling. Maybe it was the "sanitizer" they spray in the machine. He asked us to give it a little while longer. A week passed and still the smell was there and we were even more sick. I got on a step stool and unplugged the machine. When we called to ask them to remove it "100% Customer Guarantee" they pushed us out weeks. The day before the appointment I called Jim and asked how we would be reimbursed. He told me it would be up to Alex and he wasn't sure how much but he would cut us a check. Late that evening I received a text telling me we were not receiving anything back. During the appointment, Alex told my husband we would only see a refund had they been able to get their money back from the company. My husband asked why we should be on the hook for $1600 for something that was making us sick, Alex asked why HE should be on the hook for it. They buy these units in bulk and can't return them. He also said there was nothing in the unit and he has no idea what we would smell. As Alex was leaving my husband had to ask for our piece of equipment back that makes us sick, that they were going to take and not refund us any money. We have a patch in our HVAC system, you cannot find this model number of air scrubber on the internet anywhere and we are still out money. This was our experience with AirCare USA.

The workmanship of the…read morefinished deck exceeded our expectations, and every person we encountered was pleasant to work with. Our project was the installation of an 8' x 11' elevated attached deck. I had whittled my initial list of contractors down to six before choosing All Decks. Cost was competitive but was not the lowest bid. This was the third deck in this location. The previous two were wood. This time we chose to have a composite deck installed, to not have a stairway, and to have the area underneath the deck protected from rain. As this was an elevated deck, it was covered by municipal code requirements more stringent than when the previous two decks were built. We worked with Adam during our initial contact, and in designing the deck. We chose Dekorator planking, Trex handrails, and the Trex RainEscape system. We wanted to minimize supporting posts, as a competing bid would have used 6 posts, and we had seen decks on houses like ours that had 5 to 6 posts. All Decks was able to use only 2 posts by having larger-size (6"x6") posts and by attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor. The All Decks showroom was extremely helpful in choosing materials and colors, and in evaluating the RainEscape system relative to alternative underdeck rain coverings. Kendall did thorough work when he visited to do the detailed yard survey required by code. The level of detail in the resulting documents was unexpected and illuminating. The three-man team led by Chris who put up the deck was professional and unobtrusive. A special challenge was attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor as the current municipal code requires an exceptionally robust connection. Installing this connection required removing several plank-and-tongue grooves from under the overhang of the cantilevered 2nd floor, which is very difficult without causing damage. I was skeptical that it could be done and was pleasantly surprised to see the excellent appearance of the re-installed planking. (As expected, I repainted the reinstalled planks myself.) As for the steel-bar-reinforced concrete footings, Chris meticulously set their height so as to enable the potential future installation of a ground-level deck made from pavers. The gentleman who delivered and picked up materials and the portable toilet was discreet and careful. Crystle ensured smooth communications for scheduling, billing, etc. We are very satisfied with the All Decks team and their work.

They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.

When we arrived at the house, the seller didn't have the power or heat on, so Jay recommended we reschedule so he could do a thorough inspection. Once all the power and heat was turned on, Jay went above and beyond going through all the parts of the house. He pointed out everything they needed to repaired and gave rough estimates and referrals throughout the house. The thing that really stood out though was that Jay was straightforward and honest in his assessment. I work on a lot of houses, so all the figures he gave for estimates were pretty much in line with what I would expect. Not too high, like he was selling me on a repair I didn't need. But also not underselling the cost of what needed to get done. To me, there's nothing more valuable then getting accurate information. Don't try and overinflate or udnerflate what costs will be. Just say it like it is and let me decide how to proceed. I will absolutely be using 4 Seasons for future Home Inspection work and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a home assessed.

Simply put, Attic Crew was amazing from beginning to end and everywhere in between! And there was a lot of in between! First, I RARELY leave reviews unless the service/product is excellent, or terrible. I believe this is my first on Yelp, couple on Amazon. Point being, I don't waste my time unless I feel it's DESERVED, and they do deserve the Kudos. Scheduling was easy and professional. Not a lot to say about that but it was as good as could be. I was VERY impressed by the consultation with Tom. I am a personable guy and so is Tom so we chatted about "life" as we went through the process (there is a point to this.) When he made his recommendations he listed vapor barrier removal, spray, disposal, new barrier, plug entry points, etc. Pretty much the MINIMAL I would even consider and I like minimal. We had some ducts that were damaged and some insulation that was pulled down and damaged. Tom said he would repair it for free. (What?! Work for free and no "upselling"? Talk about a person/company you can trust.) I said, so you wouldn't recommend replacing the insulation? He said something along the lines of, "That is how you will get the best results but I heard you say(while talking about life as mentioned earlier) you are a single income household (I am a stay at home dad) and that you just started an insurance claim (a pipe burst which is how I discovered I had a mouse issue in my crawl space.) with a lot of uncertainty and costs ahead so I wanted to make it as affordable as possible doing only what NEEDED/MUST be done. I very much appreciated that and his quoted cost was great! I told him that and that he was my first appointment and that I needed to get at least one more estimate. He said, "I would get at least 2 more. 3, is kind of a rule of thumb." So, he didn't upsell me AND encouraged me to talk to other companies instead of pressuring me to lock in a deal. Tom=A+. Thanks Buddy! Got my 2 other estimates. One was more, and the other one was the same price but with less work to be completed. High pressure on one as well. Went back to Tom and pulled the trigger. Daniel and crew came out and did a great job! At first I was super impressed (will come back to this.) Offered him and his crew some beer at the end of the day. Much deserved. Great work! Great Job! We even had text conversations in the following days about a couple different things I didn't understand in my crawl space. His job is to run a crew, but he was texting me at 7,8pm at night. Top notch service. Daniel (and crew)=A+ In further researching the things I didn't understand in my crawl space (and going in and out of there several times and bringing in a professional to look in to it. Nothing to do with their work.) I noticed some things that were done a little different than what I had talked to Tom about. So, I wanted something redone at my request, not that they did anything wrong and some small details that I talked to Tom about that are above and beyond what a normal replacement would have entailed. I e mailed them and they basically said no problem, lets schedule it. Came out again and did my requested re-work, and fixed some other things that 9/10 people wouldn't have noticed. I didn't notice it either BUT like I said I went down there a ton of times for this other issue. I wouldn't have even asked anything to have been "fixed" if I didn't "need" my own issue fixed. Anyways....they were great about all of it! Fixed my issue and their small issues above and beyond what I expected. Excellent. A+. Oh, all at no cost! A+ Angie, and especially Sandra were also GREAT on the office/scheduling/service side of things. I couldn't forget you as your customer service was a very integral part of this from the very beginning to the end. Everything about this company, the people involved, the quality of work, the desire for me to be 100% satisfied was so refreshing. In a time where you feel like you have to fight for companies to do the very minimum that they promise, this company went above and beyond. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Get an Estimate from them, or get 3 as Tom would tell you. I tell you though, if I ever need their services again I wont waste my time getting 3. I will just call and schedule an appointment. (Just so you know, this company doesn't offer any form of benefit to me for writing this. No gift card, discount, etc. I took the time to do it because they deserved it. I hired Attic Crew to resolve a known problem in my 30+ year old house of birds in my attic, and a suspected issue of rodents in my crawlspace. The estimate included over 100 pictures showing every issue discovered. In addition to the bird problem, my attic also had rodent activity, a minor mildew problem, and bathroom vents that vented inside the attic, not outside the house. The crawlspace was a mess. There was a missing vapor barrier, but rats had done a lot of damage. Heating ducts were destroyed, pipe insulation was chewed through, and much of the insulation was knocked down and covered with rat droppings. The estimate was extremely detailed and was reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. I was told the work would take up to 2 days. On the first day of the job, Eric, the project supervisor, and his team showed up on time and immediately went to work sealing the work areas to keep my living areas clean. Eric was exceptional to work with. He continually let me know what was going on and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. Some mold was discovered that morning in the crawl space, as it could not be seen during the estimate due to being covered by insulation, Eric showed me pictures of it immediately, and quickly got an estimate for the mold remediation. He seemed very apologetic for the extra cost, but the extra charge was much less than I expected. The work the crew did was fantastic. They first cleaned out the attic and crawl space, removing all insulation, rat droppings and debris. They replaced the damaged ducts, put new vents in the attic and vented them to the outside of the attic, did the mold/mildew remediation, and installed a new vapor barrier and new, thicker insulation. The team also spent a very long time to eliminate all entrance points for the rodents and birds. All vent holes were covered with new, stronger wire mesh, and sealed every crack, slit or hole with polyurethane foam. The team surprisingly finished the job in one 10 hour day! I was sent over 100 pictures of the work done, and the attic and crawlspace look immaculate. Included is a 2 year warranting for rodent proofing, and Attic Crew will come back to check their traps to make sure my house is sealed up. We contracted Attic Crew to replace 40 y.o. insulation in 2 attics and a crawl space. It was a 2 day job. Details follow, but most important to me is the quality of the work and the products they installed. The crews who performed the work were impressive. They worked incredibly hard and they did good work. Insulation was tucked into corners, vapor barriers fit, attic and crawl space vents and other potential entry points were sealed with wire screens - all signs of quality work. Angie, whom I spoke with on the phone to coordinate the project is delightful to work with. Very pleasant. Good sense of humor. Accountable. A crew of 8 arrived on time on day 1. They worked about 10 hours on an unusually hot day to remove old insulation and vapor barriers. They also inspected for mold, openings for vermin, and furnace duct issues. After they left for the day I went into the spaces to see what they had done. All of the spaces were literally spotless - just as advertised. Day 2 was similar, but a different crew of 5. These men installed rodent barriers, cemented a hole in the foundation, added attic vents, replaced furnace ducts and installed the insulation. I inspected the spaces with the crew leader at the end of the day. Once again, everything was as advertised. Both crew leaders, Joey (day 1) and Erick (day 2) were actively engaged in the work and kept me informed of status throughout the day. I've been around construction enough to know the materials Attic Crew used are all of good quality. The cost for the insulation work was very reasonable. The cost for some of the other services seems kind of high, but if it's work that you want done you ought to consider that Attic Crew is already on site and very capable of doing the work. And it's better to do some of the work while the insulation is out. Finally, Attic Crew showed me in several ways that they are committed to customer satisfaction. I won't go into details beyond saying sometimes something needs to be worked out between a property owner and a contractor. One such thing came up on this project. I was able to talk with the crew leader who spoke with his office and we had a good solution without stress or ill feelings. Very business-like. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Attic Crew, from the beginning to the end! Unfortunately, our attic got infested with rats and it was impossible to sleep at night from the noise. We had scheduled a few estimates with different companies and Attic Crew was by far the best!! Within the first few minutes that Jay, the knowledgable and kind sales representative, stepped in the house and explained their process for getting rid of the infestation, we knew they were the perfect fit for this job. Jay is so professional in what he does!! It's thanks to the way that he thoroughly and professionally explained the process to us and right then and there sat down with us at the table and explained the costs (without anything hidden) that really made us breathe easier that we found the right crew! There was one company that wanted to use poison and come by every two weeks to see if the rats died, and only after that clean the attic (which risked having the rats die inside the house and in between walls and start smelling and rotting). Another company told us that they will clean the attic, but recommended to not cover any openings up there and guaranteed that the rats won't come back (?!!). Attic Crew, however, went for the root of the problem. Jay explained that they will clean out the attic (replace the installation) and cover absolutely all the openings/holes that the rats could enter through. And after that, they put up traps to catch any rat that might be left after the cleaning, without using poison. And they did such a great job!! Juan with his crew were absolutely awesome, taking care to note all the details in the process and provide us with photos of the work that was done (before and after). He was also very kind and thorough in all that he did! Within a few days of contacting Attic Crew, we were completely rat free and sleeping peacefully ever since. Whereas, if we had used another company, we would still be dealing with checking for dead rats in the traps and smelling rotting rat flesh in the house. Attic Crew recently completed work on our property and we could not have been more pleased--hence the long review! From contact with folks at the office to the completion of the work in our home, my husband and I appreciated Attic Crew's courtesy and professionalism. We were impressed with their integrity both in relation to the work done and the pricing. The company also has solid guarantees for their work. Jay was the first to come to our place and identified what work needed to be done in an older structure on our property, primarily related to rodent activity. (Note that we had employed a pest control service for over a decade with minimal input from that company regarding prevention.) Jay inspected our second structure, a fairly recent construction. He identified a very significant black mold issue in the attic which had been caused by the insulation installation blocking the soffit vents. Jay outlined a plan to get both structures on our property taken care of, helping to schedule the work to be done quickly due to relevant health issues in our family, particularly with our one our children. When Daniel and his crew came out to do the work, they were phenomenal! They had to navigate some icy road conditions just to access the house but were determined to make it happen for us. The crew took care to cover our personal belongings and furniture during the work and left the place spotless. Daniel was very receptive to questions we had and kept us updated throughout as their work progressed. The crew worked hard and were very efficient and yet I was struck by how much they seemed to enjoy their work. To me, that says something about both Daniel's leadership style and how Attic Crew as a business is run. In sum, Attic Crew has friendly, hardworking folks working for them, communicating with the company was easy, and they stand by their work! While any customer would appreciate those things, we were especially grateful for their sensitivity to our child's health issues, as it related to getting the work done. Recently, our plumber advised us that our insulation look raggy under our house and suggested we have someone come out and take a look. I called Attic Crew and set up an appointment. Tom came to the house, took a look and said that the insulation was definitely old, worn out and, we had signs of rat activity. Since he mentioned rats, we had him look in the attic. Activity there as well! We had been invaded! AND the exhaust fan in the bathroom had somehow detached and we had mold. He went over the plan for Attic Crew to take care of it all. Daniel and his team came out on a Sunday! He and his team were so professional. They arrived on time. They had all the necessary tools and products needed and began work immediately. They worked all day. They made sure that they respected our property. Since this is a very old house, they faced the challenge of mountains of old insulation in the attic. Apparently, previous owners had just added insulation over the years instead of replacing it. They removed everything and carted it away to the dump - a couple of times! While removing the insulation in the crawlspace, Daniel's team noticed that we had a leak under the sink in the bathroom. We tried to get a plumber while they were here to no avail so we just turned off the faucet where the leak was happening and they were able to continue. Daniel and his team cleaned up the mold in both places, removed all the old insulation and put a better insulation in for us. Daniel answered every question I could possibly ask! And never seemed to be tired of them! Their service is impeccable. The quality of their work is superior and their warranty is stellar. In fact, when the plumber came today to fix the leak, he mentioned they did an excellent job! When the plumber's office called to verify that he had taken care of the plumbing problem, she asked who did the work because she wanted to recommend them to her customers who constantly ask about insulation replacement! The Attic Crew was fantastic and very easy to work with, I highly recommend them if you have a rodent issue and/or need new insulation installed. First, Daniel came out, inspected both of my houses in Everett to give me a bid to get rid of any rodents, clean up the rodent droppings, torn insulation and mess that a couple of raccoons had made. He is one of the nicest, most competent inspectors I have ever met. He didn't flinch going under my houses in tight spaces and up in the attic to provide me with pictures & comments on what needed to be done. He said they would clean out all the bad insulation & haul it away, then spray for any contamination & mold, seal any open holes around the foundation to keep rodents out, put a new vapor barrier down, wrap all the bare pipes and put in new insulation in the crawl spaces & attic! He gave a very detailed bid and even added extra items as I found them during the week before the job was scheduled to be done. Daniel is very easy to work with, understand & extremely honest! Next, I needed this done quickly due to a tight move in date. Attic Crew sent not one, but 2 crews of 7 workers each to complete my two houses in one 12 hour day. And, they did it with the leadership of two excellent foremen: Ron and Diego. These two guys were fantastic, knowledgeable, not afraid to get dirty, hard workers and worked well with their respective teams to clean out my two houses in one day! I can't say enough good things about Ron & Diego both and would hire them again in a flash. If you have a major rodent problem, you need to call The Attic Crew to get a bid. You will be glad you did! Also, a shout out to Angie, the Attic Crew office manager. She was on top of everything including communication, billing and getting me pictures of what was done. I moved into a recently remodeled home in Seattle knowing that I would soon need the old (rock wool & cellulose ) insulation removed and replaced with something more up to date. That part had not been included with the remodel. The attic looked scary (lots of old creepy dust floating around) and was energy inefficient, the house has a chill to it all winter. Additionally our old attic door (accessible from inside the garage) was loose and too heavy for me to move so I could not check on things myself. I received five (5) preliminary inspections and quotes from Seattle area attic professionals. All 5 companies seemed to be on the same page with what the situation was and what needed to be done to make long term improvements. I reviewed the quotes and determined Attic Crew WA offered the best value for services at the time. Service was scheduled about 2 weeks out from initial quote acceptance (so, work early April '23.) Erik's team arrived promptly, even a few minutes early, and was able to complete the entire job in half a day. This included mounting the too heavy attic door onto hinges so I can actually open it myself. The results were immediate and measurable. I noticed the thermostat maintained a more consistent temperature upstairs after the new material was installed. From what I could see, *all* of the old creepy dust was sucked out. Nice new insulation replaced the old gray gross stuff. I look forward to many years of energy efficiency in the future. There was some minor damage to the ceiling below the attic. These things happen; I remember the same thing happened at my old house when I was growing up and the attic was getting worked on. Attic Crew WA sent a drywall pro out to repair the ceiling issues and I am 100% satisfied with this resolution. I received many photos of the in work performed along with the final invoice. I have a very old house which needed crawl space cleaning, wrapping of water pipes, insulation, vapor barrier, and last but not least rodent proofing. From the initial call to set up a free estimate to completion of the project the company and its workers were very professional, knowledgeable, and nice. I was especially impressed with their attention to customer interactions. They have very clear verbiage on their estimate and invoices. It is very easy to understand "the small print" regarding warranty, methods of payment, and services provided. The workers were on time and provided a 30 min notification of their arrival time. Ditto for Tom Klein who provided the estimate. Everyone I interfaced with at Attic Crew was nice, attentive, and professional from the receptionist taking my initial call to Tom Klein, who provided my estimate, to Eric Libert the project manager that stayed on site for the full duration of the work, and the 2 guys that performed most of the work with the utmost skill. After the project was complete I could find no evidence of dust or damage to either the indoor or outdoor adjacent garden areas. The whole process was amazing. In fact, when I initially called them I thought that I had just one crawl space but when Tom came out for the estimate he actually got into the crawl space and located another larger one. He took lots of photos of both spaces so I could see the condition and not have to go in myself. I was shocked to see that there were raccoon footprints in the larger crawl space! After the crew completed the job and left and since the crawl space was clean, I got into it to take a close up peek at the work performed. Excellent work way exceeding my expectations. I had a pre sale inspection performed on my house that called out an issue that may have come up with the baffling used to hold the insulation away from the soffets that the Attic Crew may have installed. I reached out to the business during the week to see about getting it addressed under warranty (Which they honored).Once they came on site they discovered other issues not related having to do with exhaust fan tubing and wet insulation and the discovery of mold. Mind you I had just had a whole house inspection done no mold was indicated on the report. Long story short everything was fixed and the person who held it all together was Angie who is just fantastic from the moment I told her that a problem was discovered with a warranty service to the discovery of failed ducting related to the Exhaust fan(s) in the attic. She stayed on top of it called on Sunday with updates and stayed late as the team stayed into the evening performing the remediation. She gave and gives 110% and is just a wonderful human being that kept her cool even though cracks were showing in mine. She is a real gem and I hope 'Attic Crew' appreciates what they have in her. And a shoutout to Diego who in spite of my initial response at the discovery of additional problems showed the pics and the video of what was going on. Gotta love that video evidence I couldn't really argue with it lol. Thank you Diego for keeping your head and completing the work in one day much appreciated! Can you imagine what would have happened if I relied on that inspection provided it to prospective buyers and they in turn performed their own and fold theses issues? I always have my doubts about what I will get for $39, so went into this deal with low expectations. I have a two story house with basement. The Green Apple crew arrived on time, with a text reminder 1 hour ahead. That always helps. Make sure you know where all your vents are, and that they are accessible (move beds and furniture if they cover a vent, that gives the crew more time to do their job). Tony explained the difference between cleaning the vents, and a deep cleaning of the ductwork. After confirming that I had not had the ducts cleaned in the 20 years I have lived here with 2 dogs, Tony walked through the entire house and took photos inside the ducts. How embarrassing! It was obvious I needed the deep cleaning service (what was that lump in there? We needed to find out). Deep cleaning is more expensive, but when you see how much work it takes for Tony and his energetic assistant, Julian, to really get into and clean the ductwork, you will understand why. They worked steadily for over 2 1/2 hours, and had all the correct equipment to do a very thorough job. They even cut into and repaired the original 1929 ductwork to get at difficult spots without extra charges. Overall, a great job, and today was the first time in months I didn't wake up sneezing. If you are sensitive to chemicals or fragrances, be sure to check the disinfectant before it is used, though there is no hint of it after 24 hours, it has a strong smell when first applied. Again, you only need deep cleaning once every 5 years, so it is worth the .15 cents a day to breath easier. Thanks again to Tony and Julian for a job well done. Pay Tony, tip Julian! (The disgusting lump was a towel I had never owned. That made it worth the price right there.) read more

I heard a rat in my attic and my heart sank! I called two different friends whom I knew had contractors address this issue at their houses. One person said not to use their company and another said that their contractor, although very good, did not include my city in his service area. I looked online and found Attic Crew in Renton, WA. The office person, Laura, was friendly and made an appointment (within a two-hour time frame) for the next week. Nick Cohen, Attic Crew's project manager, arrived on time and was professional, informative, and very easy to work with: answering my questions and supplying lots of information. Nick said they would be very careful about my parrots and in-door bunnies--his team would use plastic to keep them safe. (The crew put up an effective plastic-sheet wall.). I ended up moving my parrots (just to be sure) to bedrooms. The bunnies were fine being on the other side of the smells of treating mold and disinfecting the attic. Tony was the crew lead and was amazing. So professional and easy to work with. He explained everything they were doing and addressed my concerns as they arose. The workers obviously worked well together and were very polite. My living room and yard were left in great condition. I appreciated the attic photos I that were emailed to me. The cost was competitive with my friends' bids. My attic smells great and is in tip-top shape and more energy efficient. Attic Crew has been professional from beginning to end. Our family was in great need of an attic assessment and repair. Daniel from the Attic Crew traveled 2.5 hours to my home. Daniel got right to work assessing my situation and answering all of my questions. We thought so highly of Daniel that we decided to move forward with the project. Attic crew helped cleanup my attic and crawl space where we had rat infestation and mold. Unlike other contractors, they suggested the things that were really needed to be fixed. Their pricing was reasonable and they did a wonderful job. They even found few other issues while they were on-site for the job and took care of it. With my experience with Attic crew, they treated me like family and had been very professional with their communication and work. I am very satisfied with their service. The cleaned up the attic, did mold remediation, air gapped and sealed all gaps and laid in new insulation. Nick and Beni's team did an awesome job on our 1500 sq ft attic and crawlspace. Attic Crew as a whole was great to work with. Thorough job for a fair price. When I bring in any professional services, the biggest thing I look for is actual solutioning - Listening and understanding our needs, and designing a solution around those needs. Attic Crew exceeded my expectations. I shopped around to a few different attic and crawlspace specialists and got a huge range of quotes - up to $15k difference between estimates. Attic and Crawlspace jobs will vary a lot based on the specialization of the crew you're talking to. In Attic Crew's case, their pricing was somewhere in the middle of the competition, but their incentives, guarantees, warranties, and downright professionalism won them the job. For example, they made a specific recommendation on insulation type that was harder to install but better-suited for our space, for no extra cost. On the day of the job, we did have to leave the house for the day due to mold remediation work. This was expected and discussed clearly ahead of time. Beni and Nick stayed in constant communication about what to expect and when we could return. They brought around 12 people to do the job and got both attic and crawlspace done in the same day, ahead of my expected schedule. A rat had gotten into the ceiling space of my large closet, died, and did other stinky rat things. I called Attic Crew because their website said they could do more than just seal up cracks with foam. I needed the ceiling space opened up, cleaned, improved, and repaired. Tom from Attic Crew, came to my house and talked through options. I was worried because I thought the ceiling would have to come down, which would mean hiring a drywall company--very expensive. But Tom came up with a different approach that was faster and less expensive: removing the plywood roof and going through the top. Plus, I discovered, that area of the house wasn't insulated, so I wanted that taken care of as well. Tom warned me, "It's going to be expensive, about $3800, and we'll need to cover the vulnerable spots with wire mesh, which may not look great." But this is a company with high standards--everything looks fantastic. Carlos and Emmanuel, who did the work, put the wire mesh inside the ceiling space, so you can't see it. They cleaned, sanitized, and insulated and replaced the roof. I was very impressed with their workmanship, which my expectations. The cost matched the estimate, and everyone I dealt with knew their jobs and how to solve my problems, and they were extremely professional. This was my second time working with Attic Crew, and I've been thoroughly impressed both times. For the first project, mold remediation in the attic, where Joey came out for the initial consultation and quote. He was knowledgeable, honest, and didn't try to upsell unnecessary services like the 4 other companies had (1 company tried to sell me a new roof :O ). His quote was very reasonable, so I scheduled the work with Angie. On the day of service, Carlos and his team arrived promptly, reviewed the scope of work, completed everything as promised. They also took plenty of photos before, during, and after the job, which gave me great peace of mind and transparency. The space was left clean, and the entire experience was excellent. The second, most recent project involved rodent issues in the crawlspace. Once again, Joey handled the consultation and quote, which was fair and straightforward. I scheduled with Angie, and Carlos and his crew returned to complete the job with the same level of professionalism and thoroughness, again documenting the entire process with detailed photos. My crawlspace under the house had a rodent infestation. Half my insulation had fallen out from under the floor because the rodents had made a home. I also checked my attic and found some downed vent lines and mold spots on the roof. I got 4 bids and finally decided on Attic Crew. Woody's team did the bulk of the work in one day. They found how the rodents were getting in from the outside. An extension of the house had a vent and the line went outside the foundation to hit the vent and the hole around the vent wasn't sealed. They sealed it along with other cracks, cleaned and sanitized, and replaced all the insulation and vapor barrier. They replaced the attic insulation, sealed the cans and the gaps in the wall and installed a solar fan to get better airflow. They cleaned and sanitized the attic and I can no longer see mold on the roof! Juan and his team came out a different day to finish the vapor barrier and again a few weeks later to do the rodent inspection and the duct cleaning. They also did some touch up work on mold remediation. Never having done this before I was skeptical about getting my money's worth. I was very happy with the results. read more

Nick Cohen came out to our house in early April and assessed our roof and crawl space for insulation/heating quality. Sadly we learned that we had ALOT of black mold in our attic...unbeknownst to us! Nick very kindly and accurately shared what need to be done in the attic and in the crawl space. Due to the black mold and need for more insulation in the attic and the crawl space plus a senior discount and discount from Puget Sound Energy...we decided to agree to let Attic Crew do the job. This was a two day job with many men working! We left the house on the first day due to spraying of the black mold, but we were there the second day. They also found a hole in one of our heat ducts in the crawl space...and replaced that. Tony supervised that job and communicated well with me and showed me the attic and many pictures that were taken in the attic and crawl space. Two weeks later Jose came to inspect the crawl space and finish one tiny job that we requested help with. He too was very knowledgeable and kind. I got quotes from 4 different companies to resolve a rodent issue in our attic, replace and improve the insulation, and put in a new vapor barrier in our crawl space. Their quote struck the right balance of being detailed, cost effective, and carrying a warranty for the work and materials- which not all companies would provide. We have a very complicated, pitched roof on our custom-built home and on the day of the installation their crew realized they'd have to create a new opening into the roof to be able to remove the old insulation and replace with new. It took an additional day of work on a Saturday, but they got it done. Afterwards, we noticed there were a couple of spots where the interior ceiling showed drywall/paint had chipped off from the weight of people working up in the attic, and when I told them, Sam, one of their senior staff, even came back with another crew member to repair the drywall and repaint it so it would look as good as new. I'm impressed with how customer-service oriented the entire team at Attic Crew is and happily recommend them. read more

They do more than installing insulation--they also repair damaged installs, including ductwork and other stuff that typically surrounds insulation. Great for far more than just installs. In long 7 years ago, a contractor we hired neglected to hook up a drain pipe properly in our crawl space. We had to chase him and chase him and chase him to finish the work we could see, which he eventually did to a decent quality level, and cut the final price somewhat to make up for it. But we did not know about the drain pipe, since we didn't check under the house. Over time, the spillage damaged insulation, ductwork, and the visqueen lining the ground. Once we got the drain pipe fixed, we took several bids last week for the damage repair. Arrow came highly recommended by others in the trades. Jason stopped by on his way home from other bids--same day I texted him. Can't be more responsive than that! He was pleasant, friendly, informative, everything you want. He was very clear that their bid would easily beat the others, even without knowing what the others had bid (he gave me a ballpark estimate that came true 100%). He volunteered to take cat litter back under the house to soak up standing water. At that point he didn't even know he had the business, but as soon as he came back up I let him know we'd be hiring them. Their office was ready to schedule the guys any time we were, but Jason recommended letting the space dry out for a few days. This morning, Francisco and José showed up not only on time, but early. Both as cheerful and communicative as Jason, and they got to work even faster--one of them was trimming Visqueen before we even finished going over the work, and they hopped right down through the trap door and got after it. They fixed the duct, insulation, and lining in a couple hours, never even disturbing the house cats and pooch. They were super quiet and efficient. This house was almost 30 years old when we bought it, and we're 7 years in now. This project was a self-inflicted one, since we hired an idiot contractor when we got here. But finishing this puts us more than 70% of the way through our to-do list, and only one of the remaining projects is at a level of priority 1. Arrow helped us a ton and puts us another leg up toward getting this place ship-shape.
