It was a process of continually finding new entrypoints, closing them off, and identifying changes. Our experience with Attic Crew was excellent! I suspected there was something going on in our ceiling (critters at least), but our house had no access point to inspect it. Nick came by to assess the situation and provide an estimate. He is an excellent communicator, informing me when he was on his way, carefully inspecting everything he could get to, explaining our options and the potential surprises we might encounter, and keeping us updated while Tony and his team carried out the work. The estimate seemed very reasonable, and although the scope expanded once they started (due to mold and faulty prior ventilation ductwork), the additional costs were also fairly priced (and less than I anticipated). Tony and his crew were punctual, polite, professional, and diligent. They protected everything from the front door to the work zone and left the area clean afterward. They created a new access panel for us, thoroughly cleaned a rather challenging crawlspace (affected by rodents and mold), sealed everything to prevent future intrusions, replaced all the old insulation with new, and corrected the ductwork. Attic Crew did our crawl space job- vapor barrier, insulation, pest exclusion work. After they were done we hired a different professional we already knew and trusted (unrelated to Attic Crew) to come and check their work and he said they did good work and he couldn't find anything wrong that needed fixing. He said if it was his crawl space he'd be happy w/the job. He also said the price we paid Attic Crew for the work was good too. He said most companies that work with PSE for rebates do a good job because they don't want to loose their PSE certification, but either way I'm glad we had someone come and double check the work. Joey from Attic Crawl who came out and gave us the initial quote was very good at explaining things. He was patient and gave us solid detailed info on what they would do vs. what is the industry minimum and why, not just a sales pitch. Joey is why we picked Attic Crew, plus how they give a two year warranty on the pest exclusion work, plus a longer warranty on the insulation etc. Ron and his crew did the work, all done in one day. Ron was very professional and we had no issues with him or his crew. Really we weren't sure on the quality of work until we had that second pro double check it, since we didn't go down there ourselves and we don't have the expertise to discern an OK job from a very good job. They allow you to request before and after photos within three days of the job which we did but they are a jumble of many before and after photos with no labels or descriptions. we originally contacted attic crew about a rodent problem and ended up going with them for crawlspace insulation and sealing, blowing insulation into the walls and supposedly rodent proofing the crawlspace and attic. (In addition, the painters that they contracted with clean up and paint over the holes left in our exterior walls from the insulation blow in, did a job, even missing spots. The patchwork is and clearly visible. Though we were willing to overlook this if our rodent problem was taken care of.) Since that time we have had multiple incidents of hearing rodents in our walls. They returned once and we were told they set traps, but we were also told that they couldn't get to the part of the attic where we were hearing the rodent noises. They never came back to check the traps or call us to arrange for that service. A couple months later and we have been hearing rodents in the walls again and I called them again to remedy this problem. They said they couldn't come out to check on the situation for a few weeks so I booked the appointment as soon as I could which was supposed to be for today. We waited three weeks for them to come back out for this issue only for them to no-show/no call for the appointment today. I'm absolutely fed up with this company. We were told when we contracted with them that the crawlspace insulation and sealing would take care of our rodent problem. It clearly has not, and they don't seem to care or want to do anything to remedy the situation, which is the original reason for calling them. They seem to only be interested in upselling getting your money and then ghosting, at least that's been my experience with them. I will be contacting a different company to come in and do what the attic crew said they would do, but clearly did not. read more

We had an estimate done for mold removal back in Nov of 2022. My mom just lost her son and then her husband, so I was in the process of moving in with her because of her age and her health declining, I wanted to take care of her if needed. Nick gave us the estimate and I told him that he has to use all natural products because I have a severe allergy to bleach. He re assured me that he would and not to worry, then told me how beautiful I was. Which I thought was kind of strange. But I thanked him anyway. On the day they came to do the mold remediation I had to work and was not there at the house. My mom was told that they ran out of the products they generally use for this case. But she was told they would get a replacement and that they would find an alternative and not to worry. But come to find out the attic crew bought products from the home depot which contain harsh chemicals, bleach being the primary chemical. When I came to my mom's house after the day of the mold remediation was done, I immediately got a dry mouth then my ears plugged up, Then my head starting pounding and I was very dizzy and was worried about driving home. I have tried to go over there with a mask a few months later with the same results. I also have tried in the last few years, same results. She has told me she has reached out to your company but no one would talk to her about the situation in depth or return her calls. My mom has recently passed. I should have been there to help her, to take care of her, to hug her. Because of you I missed out being with my mom the last few years. Because of you, she would cry to me on the phone and tell me she is so sorry that bleach was used and that she didn't know. Because of you. I hope in the future your team takes these chemical allergies more seriously because they be rare but they do exist. read more

I initially contacted attic crew back in the beginning of the year, a long with a few other companies to get my attic insulation redone, crawlspace encapsulated and some other work. Tom came out, was super professional, and gave me a quote quickly. At the time they did not have PSE rebates, so I held off. The other 3 companies I contacted did not give me the time of day. Cut to last month, I reached back out. They have the PSE rebates now, so we went ahead with the work. Eric and his crew showed up on Nov 26th at 9, and promptly got to work. Not a scrap of debris was left on my property. I was given the name of the person in Penlight who deals with possible incentive rebates. Attic Crew has already furnished this person with pictures of the finished results and I have received conformation my check will be mailed in a few days. Project manager Juan had incredible attention to detail and identified many potential entry points for rodents. Their team did insulation replacement and exclusion in our attic and two crawl spaces in one day. Inspector Jose quickly checked all spaces, did minor cleaning, and added additional exclusion (primarily flashing + foam) in places that were identified after initial exclusion. We're three weeks out, definitely fewer rodents than before, probably another month plus to go until the final word. Not only did they exceed my expectations but they smashed my natural tendency to doubt promises made during bidding based on real world life experiences. Fantastic Workers who they Consider Family redefine Customer Satisfaction- Both Nick Cohen and Tony have re-written the book on customer service with a smile based on numerous examples of working with them. I had Attic Crew come out in March to clean out my Crawl Space, replace the vapor barrier, clean the evidence of rats and mice infestation, and damaged a/c duct work. I am a proud homeowner so when I was given a personal guarantee that IF any mice or rats returned within 5 years despite the warranty stating 2 years, that Nick (part owner) would take care of me. I put security cam with motion sensor in the crawl space to monitor the space. Well 4 weeks ago, while casually looking at my home pics while on a business trip I was horrified that I seen a mouse scamper across the screen. Forgetting that I was 1 hour behind the Seattle area, I immediately text Nick who replied within 5 minutes in a somewhat reassuring "don't worry, we have you covered tone" despite it being 1:30 am Seattle time....Nick (apologies again even though you mentioned not to sweat it). His colleague came out as soon as I returned home the next day and found 2 possible entry ways and sealed them. In the process the pest person discovered my A/C was leaking water which I was unaware. Since there was a possibility that the pest person might have accidentally bumped another pipe, Attic Crew hired a company on my behalf to address the leak. Fast forward to the A/C leak resolution. Tony is a skilled professional, I appreciated the custom attachment he made for my A/C drain pipe that will prevent future blockages (see picture of custom drain cover). Tony skillfully managed his team of 5 guys as they redid my a/c Vent work, replacing the shoddy flexible tubing with bended steel instead and a much larger a/c air collection box, then insulating everything--note my crawl space access measures 2' x 3' and everything had to be taken through that hole!! Quick aside. I told Tony in a side conversation that my upstairs bedroom gets very hot during summer days. He suggested I consider a dual powered (solar and 110v) attic fan. I can't believe how much the attic fan has helped. Great suggestion Tony. My admiration for Attic Crew and its staff could extend for several more pages but I think there is a limit on size of feedback. The week of the work was great and they did a wonderful job however there was no easy way to hook up the sump pumps given the power issue. Being a fixed bid contract they still asked to charge more for the power hookup which I declined as they did do a walk-through and put together a full proposal....and knowing the material cost and calculating labor on the staff there I'm confident they have a nice margin. It has been weeks and we are still waiting for the electrician to come back and hook up the sump pumps.........Work good communication and follow up poor.
