When our neighbors expressed interest in having part of their fence done as well, Elijah was happy to meet with them promptly to provide a quote. Andreii was extremely communicative and kept us updated throughout the project. They completed our fence (including our neighbor's portion) in just 2.5 days. Our fence required some shrubs to be trimmed, which they handled as well for no extra cost. They did a great job cleaning up afterward. Our project was the installation of an 8' x 11' elevated attached deck. I had whittled my initial list of contractors down to six before choosing All Decks. Cost was competitive but was not the lowest bid. This was the third deck in this location. The previous two were wood. This time we chose to have a composite deck installed, to not have a stairway, and to have the area underneath the deck protected from rain. As this was an elevated deck, it was covered by municipal code requirements more stringent than when the previous two decks were built. We worked with Adam during our initial contact, and in designing the deck. We chose Dekorator planking, Trex handrails, and the Trex RainEscape system. We wanted to minimize supporting posts, as a competing bid would have used 6 posts, and we had seen decks on houses like ours that had 5 to 6 posts. All Decks was able to use only 2 posts by having larger-size (6"x6") posts and by attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor. The All Decks showroom was extremely helpful in choosing materials and colors, and in evaluating the RainEscape system relative to alternative underdeck rain coverings. Kendall did thorough work when he visited to do the detailed yard survey required by code. The level of detail in the resulting documents was unexpected and illuminating. The three-man team led by Chris who put up the deck was professional and unobtrusive. A special challenge was attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor as the current municipal code requires an exceptionally robust connection. Installing this connection required removing several plank-and-tongue grooves from under the overhang of the cantilevered 2nd floor, which is very difficult without causing damage. I was skeptical that it could be done and was pleasantly surprised to see the excellent appearance of the re-installed planking. (As expected, I repainted the reinstalled planks myself.) As for the steel-bar-reinforced concrete footings, Chris meticulously set their height so as to enable the potential future installation of a ground-level deck made from pavers. The gentleman who delivered and picked up materials and the portable toilet was discreet and careful. Crystle ensured smooth communications for scheduling, billing, etc. We are very satisfied with the All Decks team and their work.

They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.

This was back in June 2025, we are currently in the heart of winter and have had some serious rainy days and EVERYTHING's been GREAT, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES! Fast forward to February 2026, I was so impressed by their service and workmanship I called them when the roof at my own house started to leak. (The leak was NOT because of age but the shotty workmanship from our builder Connor Homes.) I spoke to Chris again and he set me up with Peter. Peter and crew came out and temporarily covered my roof until they are able to get me in the books. Peter and crew came back in about a week and took care of my roof. The entire process took about 2 days and literally 3 days after they were done we had a crazy rain storm. Once again, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES. We had a…read morereasonable quote for a deck with Timber Azek plank material, metal and cable railing, water proof under deck, and cedar slat under deck ceiling with canless lights. We increased the dimensions of the deck before the project started, and they were very good about accommodating the changes and the price. The waterproof deck was completed by cutting the joists and a slope and installing plywood with torchdown roof sheet on the plywood that slopes to holes running into a gutter, then placing cut angled joists back on top of the plywood and leveling it for the planks. It seems like a pretty robust waterproofing system, and they did a pretty good job with it. The overall deck was completed pretty well and good job site clean up and siding replacement. There were just some small detail issues with the job, including some loose planks and a big gap in the middle of the deck (greater than 0.75 inches when cold). There is supposed to be a gap for thermal expansion and contraction, but we were left with a pretty huge gap for part of it and the plank was on the very edge of one of the joists. We also had one of our planter boxes damaged by a truck that completed the job, which we were told would be replaced. There were also some other final questions of things around the job, for example we had a french drain maintenance inlet pipe opening and it is missing after installing some of the concrete foundation for a couple posts. I'm hoping that the french drain system that some of of the posts are over were not damaged, so I will need to watch out for that. They kind of ghosted us after the job and never addressed the final issues despite multiple attempts to contact them, leaving a voicemail and message communication on their builder site. But, they also didn't collect the final invoice payment, so I'm assuming it is the unspoken discount for all the issues. Overall, I'm still pretty happy with the deck, but will have to independently troubleshoot and fix some issues when I get around to it. From other reviews, it seems like other people had a better more complete experience.

I started the project in early June 2026 and my deposit was paid on 6/9/2026. Initially the project was scheduled to be done the first week of July but it did not get completed until 2 months later. Just imagine my frustration in between. They kept changing the project managers once every couple of weeks. The final payment process was confusing with two invoices with slightly different prices. I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job.
