We had some water damage due to a hidden leak under the washer valve. Restorion team were great to work with. All work was performed in a timely manner with clear communication upfront about when and how things will be completed throughout the entire process. The work needed and cost were also clearly communicated and there were zero surprises. Restorion were transparent and 100% right about everything they said. The workers did a fantastic job and did not cut any corners, if anything the place looks better after the repairs than it did before. On top of that, Restorion handled the communication with our insurance company which took a lot of burden of our shoulders. They also did a great job minimizing the disturbance to the family and left the area as clean, if not cleaner, than before the damage. I did get a few estimates but decided to go with Jose because, to me, they seemed to be the most serious with the matter. We had a moisture problem behind the toilet that soaked the tile floor and the base board. I had never hired a water mitigation company. We had a quote from another company that said they would ONLY dry the floor from on top and under the house and were going to charge a full $1000 over the quote I received from Jose and his team. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. They are a full restoration company. They are different than all the other companies I searched out in our area. Jose and his team are professional, timely and they have the fairest pricing in the area. Jose quoted us a best case and worst case scenario so that we would be fully prepared for the financial requirement. Thankfully, we did not have the worst case scenario. Their team fully removed our toilet, dried the floor from above and below the floor, removed mold and some damage from the wall, repaired fallen and missing insulation under the house, and repaired the wall and base board. I am thrilled as the work looks better than it did prior to the damage. RESTORION'S NEGLIGENCE COULD HARM YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MAKING YOU SICK!!!!! Based on my experience, my insurance company, claims adjuster, and building contractor, RESTORION does NOT know what they are doing and has NO business in this field. This company came out same day I called to address water issue. They inspected the water damaged areas only on the surface in the three rooms affected. Then they sent an invoice on 6/7/20201 for 7,315...three days after the microbes and mold has had time to colonize due to being left in an environment with excessive humidity. This company cares about getting paid, not you and your family's health. Now I am stuck with a bill for mold my insurance company will not cover. The worst part is my two year old had been in this environment the entire time. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FAMILY'S HEALTH!!! After learning what they "should" have done by my insurance claims adjuster, he recommended another company. I called them back on 6/15/2021 and spoke with the receptionist who identified them as Restorion and stated they do water mitigation. I inquired what the standard is for what you do in the first 72 hours. The receptionist stated they send technicians out to inspect for water damages and check for the areas which are wet. Then they will send me an invoice in 24 to 48 hours. I told him this is not IICRC industry standards to which she replied, "we are a small company." I told her that her small company is going to be bankrupt if I sue them for the damage they did. As previously stated, they have no business doing this work. read more

This company is as good as it gets. We had suspected water damage behind a kitchen cabinet wall. Jose, the owner, personally came out to assess the situation free of charge. They were the only company I called that would assess for free. He spent an hour doing tests to confirm there was indeed water damage. This is contrary to the result the other company gave us. They just ran a quick tool against the wall and said there isn't any damage. They were gone within 10 minutes. Jose was very communicative and kept us apprised of the situation at all times. He accidentally put a split in our outside welcome mat but it was frozen solid from the weather so it could've happened to anyone. Next time he came over he replaced it even though I pleaded with him not to. He even went above and beyond and shoveled snow from my walkway as a courtesy. We had a rarely used bonus room in our home that we went into one day to clean. After moving some boxes we hadn't touched for months, we saw a large area of our carpet had mold growing on it. After contacting insurance, they sent a leak detection agency out, who, after an hour determined the source of the water damage was most likely ground water, and so insurance informed us they were likely to deny the claim. Fast forward 1 month when we figured we were fully on our own, we decided to hire Restorion to do some basic mold removal and restore work so we could start getting that area of our home usable again. Once we reached out and made the appointment, Jose, Fer, and the whole Restorion team were very responsive to all of our inquiries. When the time came for them to actually start the work, they were timely, professional, and communicated way above expectations so we always knew what to expect. Perhaps most significantly, they were thorough. In fact, once they opened up the walls of the damaged area, they noticed that our foundation showed no signs of groundwater intrusion at all and went the extra mile to see where the water was coming from. Turned out, the source of the water damage was a tiny crack in an old pipe. Before proceeding with work, they thoroughly documented everything and gave us their findings. We were able to provide their documentation to our insurance agent, who in turn was able to approve our claim! Not only did Restorion do an A+ job with the work we hired them to do, they demonstrated their excellent experience in dealing with insurance adjustors for these types of claims and were able to handle everything directly with our claims agent. At the end of the day, instead of a huge bill for significant water damage and a basic restore that we were expecting to pay for out of pocket, they were able to work with our claims agent to get the damage fully cleaned up and restored and all it cost us was our deductible. Beyond their professionalism, experience, and excellent work, they were also very respectful of COVID-related safety measures. The damage to our home was in an area that was able to be pretty well sectioned off from where we spend most of our time each day, so we worked out a schedule where Jose would communicate to us each evening when his crew would come by the next day, and as long as I went and unlocked a door every morning before they got there, they would get in, get their work done for the day, and get out, completely contact free. We didn't think we could get an entire interior restore job done without ever physically meeting the crew on the job, but Restorion pulled it off and they did an excellent job. Plus, even though they knew they would never see us during the day, we could see on our Wyze cams throughout the house that they still always wore face masks, shoe booties, and appropriate PPE throughout the entire process. This is my first review on Yelp since I am so impressed. Very honest and caring business. We are remodeling our bathroom due to strong smell and suspected mold. Jose came to our place twice for evaluation for mold: before and after demolition. On the first visit he evaluated the floors, walls, and recommended we call him back once we open the walls and some of the floor as part of the remodeling, because he found traces of moisture. When he came the second time, the moisture has dried out and there was no sign of mold. He diagnosed the issue as likely drain vent, which we'll cap and fix. No charge for both visits. When you live rurally and come home after a month to a dead freezer/fridge that's caused water damaged floors, options are limited. I sent Restoration Squad an email on a Friday night at 8:50pm and got a reply at 9:50. I called Jose back when I saw his email on Saturday and he came out that very same night around 5pm. Restorion provided fantastic service! Jose and Emanuel came to inspect some basement floor water damage we had discovered after a big wind and rain storm. They were able to come the same day we call, and showed up on time. They had all the gear (most importantly several different types of moisture meters) and did an excellent job troubleshooting. This started out as a basement waterproofing concern. But it turned out we had a roof leak, which caused water intrusion into the attic, then inside the external wall on our 2nd floor, going down into the wall on the 1st floor/basement, and then had shown up as water in the carpet on the 1st floor/basement. That means there'd be a lot of wall cavities to open, insulation to discard, and dehumidifiers to run for a week. Jose had great "bedside manners" in explaining the magnitude of the water issue, and set expectations that the cost to fix it might be high. He shared his experience and expectations for insurance coverage, and how he could help with the insurer discussions. Restorion followed up with a super detailed and clear estimate for mitigation work mid-day the next day. No matter who would have done this remediation project, it would have been expensive. And on top of that, there would be costs for repairs after the water mitigation is done. In the end, we decided to mitigate this water intrusion ourselves to save on that cost. We bought a water meter, multiple dehumidifiers and fans. We removed baseboards and cut enough holes in drywall to be able to remove all wet or moist insulation. Now we have the humidifiers and fans going in 4 different affected spaces and monitoring the moisture level in drywall and wood as we go. I'm sure we are not doing as good a job as Jose and crew would do, so we are taking a risk doing this ourselves. But that's the tradeoff we chose. read more
