Ivan, Jesus and Brandon were amazing from start to finish. We had moisture enter the house due to a roof leak, and these guys were professional and thorough throughout the entire remediation process. Jesus and Brandon were respectful of the space -- for example, when they had to take down some heavy closet doors and lean them against a wall, they put a cloth between the doors and the wall so as not to scratch the wall. They suggested fixes that in my mind went above and beyond, such as putting a layer of primer on the sheathing to help it resist moisture, should my roof leak again in the future. Hopefully I'll never need them again in the future, but if I do, they'll be the ones I call first. read more

"I do not recommend Robinsons Restoration. I received a bill for $16,240.59 with . no clear itemized breakdown. They installed power that was never used, and the crew came at 10 p.m., which I found unprofessional. My insurance denied the claim, and I was left confused about the charges. I believe customers deserve clear pricing, an itemized invoice and professional communication!!! read more

We had a pipe leak in the basement in Oct 2025. Robinson restoration could not finish the job even in 3 months. They abandoned the project half way through, we believe because of the way they were handling their sub contractors. This was hands down the worst business experience we have ever had in the Washington area. The employees lacked basic business etiquette, and the Project Manager and Finance Manager were incredibly rude to both me and my wife. Key Issues: Mis-diagnosed the issue big time even after we repeated telling them the root cause and area of the problem. We feel they intentionally did that to increase the scope of the work. They tore down upstairs bathroom completely without even properly checking the root cause. There were no issues with the upstairs bathroom. They did not tear down the actual place where it was leaking, this was unbelievable to us. Drove us completely nuts. Abandonment: They left the job halfway through and never bothered to check back with us, failing to complete the work they promised. Hostile Behavior: Instead of resolving the incomplete work, they threatened us and sent a lien letter to our house. This aggressive approach is unacceptable. Project Manager yelling and screaming on the calls with all filthy, profanity and inappropriate words. Staff Turnover: They fired more than three employees who had been dealing with us very nicely, which further disrupted the project. Subcontractor Issues: Even the subcontractors they hired seemed unhappy and difficult to work with. Advice: Do not trust these guys with any big jobs. If you value your peace of mind and want a project actually finished, look elsewhere. I have the pictures and videos of our project to prove their Incompetency and also the threatening letter they sent us Hope you guys understand. I was all ready to file a case BBB. I will soon post the photos of the sloppy job they did. read more

At first I was a little skeptical about this company after reading those 1 star reviews. But it turned out a pretty amazing experience working with them. Ronaldo and his team were fast, efficient and professional. The communication was clear most of the time. They kept me updated for each step and also helped me negotiate with the insurance and the price was reasonable. read more

I called Robinson Restroation after an upstairs bathroom leak turned into a catastrophe of water between my downstairs walls. To their credit their work was very fast and very good. However, things were less immaculate when they were negotiating with my insurance company over the total amount of compensation. Their communication was initially inconsistent, but after a little facilitation by me everything was eventually settled out to the satisfaction of all. They called after the project to follow up with me and explain what the hang up had been/how it will be prevented in the future. I'm definitely pleased with the work, their response to my intervention was good, I'd give them 4.5/5 if that was an option. read more

We had Robinson come over for an estimate/inspection after we had a toilet overflow that leaked onto the floor below. After that experience, I question both the company's substantive knowledge and their ethics. First, they used some pressuring tactics to try to get me to sign on for their services right away. They urged me to make a homeowners insurance claim right away, saying that the work would surely be more than my $5k deductible. I asked what if we just took some remediation efforts without a claim, and they said just having a dehumidifier and fan in here for several days would already run $3k so I might as well file the claim. They otherwise would not offer an actual estimate for anything. The next day when they reached out to follow up, I said I didn't think it was worth it to file a claim and be out $5k. They then miraculously said they could do remediation for $2-$3k without a claim. I also had them look at another area of the house where we had some mystery water but was now visibly dry. I thought it came from outside rain. The technician said we had a leak and needed a plumber. I got a plumber in later who removed dry wall to look for the leak. There wasn't one. The plumber seemed really trustworthy and replaced a part just in case and was not $$$. But seemed to badly reflect on Robinson. read more

We had an awful experience with Robinson Restoration and strongly recommend avoiding this company. We live in a small concrete condo unit, and when our furnace room flooded, Robinson showed up quickly and set up dehumidifiers--but everything went downhill from there. A week after the incident, we had to leave town for two weeks. The project manager assured us he'd check on the equipment and keep us updated. Instead, we returned to find the dehumidifiers still running untouched, with zero communication despite multiple attempts to reach him. Only then did we learn he no longer worked there. No one from Robinson bothered to notify us, even though he still had authorized access to our building and unit. The new project manager made us start over, even though readings and notes had supposedly already been taken. They then insisted on removing walls, bathroom tiles, and hardwood floors--much of which we later learned was unnecessary. Their crew was careless and caused additional damage: walls and doors including an antique one were dinged by their equipment, and they cut out more flooring and walls than required. None of the work that should have been completed in the first two weeks had even begun, dragging the remediation out for over a month. Because they removed tiles that probably didn't need to be touched, we ended up having to replace most of the bathroom tiles since matching tiles are no longer available. What should have been a small, contained repair turned into a four‑month ordeal. Robinson made no effort to minimize demolition, and several items that never needed to be disturbed couldn't be restored to their original condition. Much of the later repair work was spent fixing damage caused by Robinson during their remediation. On top of that, they sent an overinflated bill, and when we asked for moisture readings and justification for each charge, they couldn't provide any. We ultimately settled just to end the headache. Save yourself the stress, time, money, and frustration. Choose a different company. read more

RUN from this company. When my basement flooded a few weeks ago they came out and said all the right things. It was, however a nightmare from then on. They strongly pressured me to sign several documents then said they would take care of everything...the 4" of water, the drywall, insulation removal etc. What we got was an inept bumbling company that didn't know what other parts of their team was doing. Also, no one ever quoted any price at all. It was a trust me vibe. Now , after we refused to pay for the only work they actually accomplished (asbestos and lead paint testing they have put us in collections. They never gave us a call, text, email or letter letting us know what the results of the tests were. 3500 dollars later we're heading to court. This is worst experience we've ever had with a contractor. Do not trust them, it truly is a "let's get as much money from these suckers as possible ". They should be ashamed of fleesing vulnerable people at scary, stressful times. I would give them a negative 10 if it were possible. Just dont use them, you will regret it. read more

When our plumber showed the day we called for plumbers to come to our home, he could not get the access door open to the crawl space and we saw the water damage he called Robinson Restoration and within 90 minutes Jeremy Young was here, (same day), got the crawl space door open & started with his mediation. Jeremy and his crew, Jesus, Lawrence, etc. went to work isolating the water leak from the main water valve in the house. They, so far have been great working with our insurance company and are very conscience about maintaining the original floor, vanity, etc. We would Highly recommend their services! read more

Just finished our initial inspection with Jeremy Young. He was incredibly professional and helpful. I spilled laundry detergent and a bucket of water in our basement on carpet and was concerned about water damage and potential mold. It's clear that Robinson Restoration has integrity and I highly recommend using this company. read more

I had a water leak under my house. My plumber recommended that I call Robinson Restoration. Pierre came out to give me an estimate. He quoted $8,000 to $10,000 but would not give me a written quote and then proceeded to pressure me to have it done right then. I turned him down and have had a few other quotes. They ranged from $950 to $1500. No where near Robinson's estimate. I would stay away from them. read more

We had an amazing experience with Tielor and his team, Jesus and Joseph, throughout the restoration process when our dishwasher had a leak that affected my entire kitchen area. Tielor was patient and responsive in mitigating my unit and explaining the process to me. He was thorough and frequently checked in my property to ensure the mold level is decreasing day over day. I do hope I never have to use his service again, but if I ever had any restoration repair, Tielor will be my go-to person read more

I asked them out to help me remediate mold in my bedroom, I was afraid to touch it without it being professionally remediated. Robert walked into my home showing my daughters TikTok videos of his famous cat, and ignored me when I asked him to put it away. When he looked at the job site, he fully disturbed the mold I was afraid to touch without professionals, and then told me I needed to lie to my insurance company to get them to pay for it. I spoke to management and asked what to do about it, they said to put plastic down with painters tape and to change my bedding. I asked if they would be willing to come and help me actually remediate the mold, that I was willing to pay for, and could not get support. I am very sad about this. read more

I had a really bad experience with them. They never showed up when they said they would, they removed significantly more of my ceiling than they needed to (like a lot), they didn't pick up their equipment when they were supposed to, and then they tried to overcharge me. They left a huge mess in my shower and house that I had to spend hours cleaning, and because they were so far behind what they said they would be, I had to reschedule a ton of other projects. They also removed my shower door and left the pieces all over my house, then when they (finally) put it back, it was crooked and wouldn't close so I need to pay a glass professional to fix it. The process of removing a small amount of mold in my shower stretched to over a month, and then repairing what they did has been a giant headache. It made moving into my new house a nightmare and added significant stress to my life. I do not know why "restoration" is in their name- they were incredibly unnecessarily destructive and they do not actually do any restoration work themselves. I would strongly advise not using them unless you have no choice. I would personally rather get mold poisoning than work with them again. Out of all of the not-good contractor experiences I have had, working with Robinson is my greatest regret. They cost me thousands of dollars and tons of time, but they did remove mold (and a bunch of other stuff they shouldn't have removed and didn't tell me they would remove). People at the company were definitely nice, but I don't think they do passable or professional work. read more

Full story: I sincerely regret calling Robinson for a "free quote" when I called to get my elderly aunt help. I called and told them that I was managing this situation with her home because she was unfit to make her own decisions anymore and was experiencing significant cognitive and physical decline. This showed in her inability to handle this water leak in her home on her own or with the help of my elderly mother that was around to help with what she could. Pierre rather talked to my aunt and filed an insurance claim with her since she said she had home insurance. She didn't in fact have home owners insurance, she was remembering incorrectly from 2 years prior, and he expedited the work before confirming that she even had insurance. Upon learning this, I canceled the content manipulators from coming to her home myself to avoid more charges. Pierre told me that the most we could expect to pay was a few hundred dollars since Robinson wasn't trying to cause my elderly & demented aunt harm. I then get a bill for $2500 and this was just for them to remove a small portion of drywall and set up dehumidifiers. On top of this, Pierre was unprofessional in the way he spoke to my sister and I (which the Seattle area manager did address promptly) and now dealing with their billing team I can say the same about them. They are calling my aunt and my mom instead of calling me as their point of contact that started this whole thing, and saying we are being unresponsive because I am fighting them on this bill. I emailed them the day I got the bill fighting it and answered countless phone calls as I was trying to quickly move my aunt out of her home to avoid foreclosure. On top of this, my disabled cousin lived with them making the need to protect my family and their resources the best I could even higher. Even being aware that they didn't fulfill the initial ask for a "FREE QUOTE" as I requested, then being told that my aunt lost her home due to fraud and subsequent results from her memory loss, they are still sending me this insane bill for minimal and incomplete work. I fully believe that Robinson and Pierre took advantage of elders and their disabilities, claiming they wanted to help. I do not recommend this company to anyone seeking help for their family members, ESPECIALLY those that heavily need the support of others, or for their own homes unless they have a pretty penny to dish out when only asking for a "free quote". If I had been given the quote as asked, I would have determined at that time that she did not have the funds to pay for this and would have denied any work. Robinson should have kept the promise for the work I asked be delivered at the time and waited to confirm before racking up this grossly unjust bill and then telling a 77 year old woman and her 49 year old disabled son that are now technically homeless that they have to pay $2500 from mid January now or they are being sent to collections. I will never again work with Robinson Restoration. read more

We had a water leak in the laundry room and they were referred by the plumber. The communication is the worst ever. They never followed the schedule, and sometimes it was just no-show. We had to call the project manager every 2-3 days to align on things. I was told they were understaffed and so the work progress was slow. The project manager told me the work would cost around 6-8k in total and eventually my insurance company received a 13k bill. They overcharged me for basically everything, and spoke like it would be fine because my insurance would pay for me (I can foresee a huge increase of my insurance premium next year). Today, my contractor told me the vent was disconnected and it is still blowing hot air to the crawlspace. Robinson did not let us know about this anyway, and that costs me money for the electricity bill for months I guess. read more

Absolutely AMAZING support by JP Grillo throughout the whole daunting process of insurance dealing with water damage in our ceiling. He was with us along every step and helped take over communications to insurance so things went smoothly and limited our stress. He was very empathetic with the worry of out of pocket cost, that he also helped us know we can customize the amount of work incase insurance doesn't cover all we need to get done. Insurance takes time, so it hasn't been a quick fix, but they have been so knowledgeable on the process and have access to all sorts of different contractors - like roofers! Cannot recommend enough.. They really are a one stop shop and can do it all! read more

Jeremy contacted me immediately and had a crew at my home the next day. Ismael, Cristobel, Jesus and Joseph did an outstanding job of protecting my things by wrapping them totally in heavy plastic. They were not very careful in removing floor boards so I will need to repaint once everything is put back. Otherwise, I was pleased with their work and professionalism. read more

Tyler mitigated my place and sent Dalton and Robert out to do some demo. They were all very professional, efficient, and made sure they cleaned up all the mess. My dogs liked all of them (after having so many people in the house, my dogs weren't as receptive to all of them - but they approved of all the guys from Robinson). I'm still in the process of having my leak issues taken care of, but I'm confident that Robinson will take care of me. Thank you! read more

Robinson Restoration was recommended by my plumber. Thank you Arash for the wonderful recommendation! My plumber contacted them on my behalf and they responded immediately. Chuck understood how quickly we needed to get this damage fixed. Chuck is very easy to work with and got us on the books ASAP. Once the project got rolling, Chuck sent out John and Dylan to do the repair work. Avoid this company!! They were recommended by DNA Drain Cleaning and Sewer (never trust plumber referrals without doing your own research!). They pressured us to sign a contract on the spot without giving us time to look into anything. Their communication was super terrible (no show soooo many times), the service was super poor (they promised to come daily to adjust the fan but only showed up on like day 6, continuing to delay until it took weeks to finish. We were so annoyed by the fan noise), and the final bill was a shock--twice the original estimate! We were extremely frustrated with the whole experience. read more

Just started a project with Cole and Chuck at Robinson Restoration and had to write a review straight away - these guys have been fantastic. We were away on a week long trip when we had a kitchen leak that destroyed our flooring and subfloor. We initially started working with a different water mitigation vendor but after several weeks of being jerked around we found Robinson and it has such an improved experience. Not only have they been incredibly communicative, their equipment and inspection process has been far superior to the other company we had been working with and their scheduling process has been hassle free. Cole and Chuck were incredible, working with our insurance company and making the whole process easy. Can't recommend them enough. read more
