It was a sudden leak that happened in the middle of the night and the water had soaked through the carpet and down to the garage. Jason set up a chat group which helped my husband and I communicate with the mitigation team and helped us get a plumber over to fix the leak. My wife and I have a downstairs bathroom that we rarely use. On one of the few occasions that we used the bathroom, we noticed a greenish/blackish discoloration on the wall. The wall itself wasn't wet; however, upon further research, we discovered that the vanity had water damage. The water leak was unclear so we contacted 24/7 Flood & Fire to locate the leak source. A non-refundable deposit is required to locate leak source. We chose to apply our deposit towards 24/7 remediation services. Once initial contact was made, Will, was in continuous contact with us. We are located in Everett and it was nice to know estimated timeframes of arrival. It took Will less than 10 minutes to locate the leak source. Leak source was a small pin hole in the water pipe located in our garage that the home builders erroneously made while installing the bathroom vanity. Once the leak was located, we had to hire a plumber to repair the pipe. After plumbing was fixed, we called Will back to advise that remediation services could begin. Will set up heavy-duty fans and dehumidifiers to dry and dehumidify affected areas. It took three days to satisfactorily dry out the area, with Will checking the percentage each day. Our bathroom was dry and mold-free once Will had performed his duties. We were responsible for disposal of the vanity. 24/7 works with insurance companies as well. By submitting their invoice directly to the insurance company on our behalf, that was one less step that we had to worry about during this difficult time. It's been a year since these guys helped me through one of the most stressful times of my life and their work has held up great. Just one day after putting the new roof on my house we had a dishwasher that failed and flooded the heck out of our kitchen seeping under a galley style half wall and ruined the cabinets and flooring. To our dismay the insurance agent assigned to us was based in Phoenix and was extremely reluctant to help us saying Washington was a "moist state" despite all the clear evidence of failure. These guys helped back us up and arm us with good information to help with the claims process This company is a one stop shop for everything you may need. A two headed power house (remediation and repair) that gets it done and is great to work with as well. The first crew on the remediation side came out and deconstructed my floor in the kitchen and other side of the half wall, cabinets, lower parts of the drywall, and assessed the damage. They also set up an array of dehumidifiers and fans till everything was dried out. The repair side was nothing but a pleasure to work with as well. Great group of guys coming in everyday with good attitudes just knocking it out. Since things were so torn up with the flood damage I used this as an opportunity on a complete remodel with new lighting, turning a half wall into an island, having plumbing and electrical rerouted, turning a sliding glass door into a window and a window into French doors, new siding from window/door switch, and a gas lined plumbed in so I could switch to a gas oven. They did it all and they did it well and my kitchen is much more functional and living space feels amazing. They even allowed me to do some of the painting and flooring on my own to save a little and take a learning experience as well. I'm no tradesman myself so during the process I had questions on how they were doing things and why they were doing it that way and I was met with educational and reassuring info. I was worried it was sounding like maybe I was being too paranoid or picky but they were very reassuring and patient with me. Like I said I'm no tradesmen but I have climbed into my crawl space and attic just to check out how all the new electrical and plumbing was laid out and it all looks clean and great. After the original drying we got a few quotes for the remodel and other places wouldn't let me do the flooring or paint and their quotes came in at around 2x as much. If anyone I know ever finds themselves in a need for remediation work I will not hesitate for a second to recommend this company. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I had flooding in my house and referred to call this company. They said the leak was from the roof causing the wet floor, however it was from sewer line blockage ended up causing me whole basement flooded with sewer water. Had this company detected early enough when they first came out figured out that it was from the plumbing issue, my basement would have not been damaged this much. Spoke to owner and not only they did not admit it but also won't give my money back. Because technician came out. What a joke. I am pursuing further legal action. Everyone was knowledgeable, efficient, worked hard, easy to work with, and patient with all my many questions. Earl who was the project lead was quick to put together estimates and managed all aspects of the project. His knowledge and advice to me was invaluable as I've never dealt with anything like this before. He was easy to communicate with and kept me informed throughout the project. I am so amazed on how quickly all the work was completed as it was a lot. Not only did I get such great service from 24/7 team members but also the contractors they use and again I didnt have to coordinate any of that. I am so happy with everyone's service. The mitigation team came out when a burst pipe flooded the underside of my kitchen. They tore everything apart, cleared the asbestos and the air. Then the nightmare began. Their reconstruction company was supposed to do the repair work to get my home livable. The quote they gave was, according the the insurance company, padded with unneeded things. So things stalled at that point. I asked for another estimate and the final one was twice what the adjuster said it should be. At that point 24/7 withdrew from the job. All of this started in July. It is now October, my house is still sitting as they left it, open to the elements and unsafe to even enter. I have been in a motel since then. I have no idea now what to do or where to turn. ***READ BEFORE YOU USE THEM*** If I could do no starts I would, never in my life have I been ripped off by a company like this one. 4 weeks before the sell of our house we had water dripping from the ceiling of our room and we were referred to them by Beacon. They checked the upstairs where it was leaking from and said everything was dry, but below everything was wet I said ok lets get it dry. They told us yeah we can get your floor dry so they came in and cute a huge hole put 4 fans and a dehumidifier it he open room and said to leave it running. $ days in they said its still 55% in some spots and 99% in others so we continued then day six they said well the floor is not dry and that could mean dry rot and so we said ok. I was starting to question them and I had a sec company come out to look at it and they said why are they not sealing off the area that needs to be dry and instead heating the whole room. They also checked the upstairs (same spot at 24/7) and found that it was 55% wet as well. Well come to find out they were doing it wrong the whole time and just racking up a bill. I have a 3100 dollar bill from them and they did nothing. They were not professional, didn't give me consistent information DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I will also be calling beacon and letting them know my experience because the is terrible. read more

Look, nobody *wants* to have a flood. But we had one and I'm very glad we were referred to these guys. Austin and his crew showed up around 8pm on a Wednesday night and helped us get our water damage taken care of. It was because of this fast response that we were able to completely dry out the basement without gutting the dry wall. They were very transparent with their process, showed me where there was water and where there was not and we came up with a plan to remediate. I think it would be very possible for dishonest companies to prey on people in an emergency situation like this. I didn't feel like that at all with these guys. They were reasonable, helpful and understanding. Austin was highly responsive and an all-around a great guy to deal with. They made a nightmare process much less work. My 72 year old mother lives on the bottom floor of a 4 story condo complex. She had just moved in 3 months earlier. Suddenly the stack for brown water that all the kitchens use above her backed up and flooded her kitchen. My mom told me later about the really nice guys from 24/7who helped her get everything packed up, ripped out, then dried the walls out with big fans and dehumidifiers and how great the company was. Yes, they should be. Simple problem... BUT WAIT! It gets better. In the same unit, with that kitchen still not replaced, only 6 weeks later, a water main happens to spring a leak right under her floor. It's bubbling up through a closet. The HOA calls another vendor who fumbles their way through and sets up a couple fans and leaves. THEY leave! with water still coming in. The plumber suggests 24/7 instead and the same person from the kitchen crew arrives - dismayed to be coming back to the same place. He actually hugged my mom "I was hoping it wasn't you!" While the myriad of people are trying to figure out where the leak is coming from, the neighbors upstairs clog their toilet and it comes through the ceiling light fixtures in my moms unit. 24/7 immediately gets to work on isolating the situations. What are the chances - 3 incidents in 6 weeks. All with different levels of difficulty and damage. There isn't enough space for me to convey how amazingly responsive (on weekends and late at night!) 24/7 has been. They have advocated for a retired single woman with her insurance company, her homeowners association, the plumbers - anyone involved. They return my calls when I have questions to help my mom. They made sure her antique furniture did not get damaged and got it in storage within 24 hours (oh and Ryan who was leading the crew had his 8 yr old's birthday that day but still came by that weekend afternoon to make sure things were on track). There is strong follow through with this company. We've interacted with 4 different employees in person and they have all been polite and hard working. But most of all, they are respectful, responsive and empathetic, which goes a long way in a crisis. Here is the topper for us: In packing up her entire condo that night, her passport was boxed up with her desk items. Now she needs it quickly. We called Ryan last week and said "can you get us into the storage unit to look for the passport". Ryan and another employee (Junior) met us at the storage unit, on a Sunday, and spent an hour moving and opening boxes and furniture to find the passport. Without a charge to anyone. Just because they felt it was the right thing to do to help my mom. That's the extra mile. They came to fix my floor after my water heater flooded my condo. It took them 2 months to replace my tiny floor and they did a horrible job. There are huge gaps between the wall and flooring. They installed a new water heater illegally and incorrectly causing my apartment to flood a 2nd time. They were supposed to come back today at 9:30 to fix their mistakes as this is when I get home from work, but they showed up at 9 and left. They don't listen and their work is unimportant to them. I contacted Jason at 24 7 to handle a sewage clean up at a house I was renting to own and he sent Daniele out right away which was great, however we had no idea he was in collaboration with a local plumbing contractor I used to work for to poison the relationship with my landlord and I in hopes of getting the plumbing contractors leads!! Jason did just that causing a family to be displaced even after the rent had been paid up for 6 months in advance also having his men toss my wife's personal undergarments strung about the storage container they delivered on site also breaking our unity candle from our wedding because my mom and wife's grandma had both passed away and we lot that candle on our wedding night at the ceremony. the holder and candle were broken and a year later nothing has been done to make it right . further more he lied under oath at a trial my ex employer and Jason showed up at to further poison the relationship between the landlord and myself stating under oath he would do it again and bringing employees to lie under oath and high fiving the ex employer after testifying!!!!!!
