MUSHROOMS, you guys--growing out of my CARPET. I don't even like mushrooms as a *food*; they're even worse as freeloading roommates. Luckily, in a world full of invasive fungi, there's also Artemio of Aquamess. He responded to my Yelp message almost instantly (on a weekend, even!), as if I were Gondor lighting the beacons to call Rohan for aid. And, just like Gandalf (because we're going with a Lord of the Rings theme now, apparently), Artemio is a legitimate world-saving wizard. He showed up with his fancy cyberpunk water-detector technology and waved it around my floor, looking for glitches in the Matrix. (The theme of this review has changed; please excuse the genre whiplash.) It turned out the problem was a lot more extensive than I'd realized, but that was fine--I had on my side Artemi-Neo, the Chosen One. Not only did Artemio get me on his schedule right away, he was also SO patient and thorough in all of our email correspondence. If you haven't noticed already, I have a tendency to get annoyingly verbose--and emails are no exception. But every time I had questions, Artemio came back promptly with very detailed explanations. On top of all that, he's also just a quality human being. Artemio's such a friendly and polite guy that I kinda want to bust another one of my pipes just as an excuse to say hi. Also, it's plainly evident that he really *cares* about customer satisfaction. This guy will bend over backwards to make you happy. Heck, he'd probably bend over sideways, if that's what you really wanted! (But no bending to the *opposite* side; the man has dignity, after all.) In case it wasn't already clear, I can't recommend Aquamess enough. I'm glad Artemio's the guy I found when I started searching online. And now YOU'VE found him, too! You must be one lucky customer! As the guy in charge, I found Artemio to be very friendly, honest, and fair. What a truly amazing team and led by such an incredible and professional leader, Artemio. We had a massive water leaked that spread over three floors and called Aquamess and they came the same night. He arrived and took care of it immediately- he made sure that the water didn't continue spreading throughout the rest of the house. After containing the damage, he came back the next day with more extensive equipment to completely control the situation. Once all was dried and it was time to remove the drywall and insulation, he helped coordinate the moving/storage team and the contractor to do the removal. He made sure to check in with us throughout the entire process and really was the calm and the insight we needed in the craziness of the water leak and damage. Artemio always does a good job and communicates well every step of the way. I used Aquamess on my own personal property when I had a leak in my crawl space, they came out same day, stabilized the situation and were able to quickly deal with insurance to get the claim going. Less than 1 month and I had the mitigation and reconstruction completed. These guys get in, get out and get claims taken care of! Something most homeowners struggle with against insurance companies.
