We were struck with a sudden and unexpected calamity a couple of weeks ago, when our septic backed up and flooded a room in our garage (used for art and painting) with water and fecal matter. We did not discover it, until a couple of days, after the occurrence. We called H2OAWAY and they responded quickly. Kevin and another supervisor came out and assessed the damage, which was virtually total in terms of cabinets, tile, wallboard, fixtures, etc. They were very competent, as well as empathetic, as to our loss. Within a couple of days, Kevin provided a detailed estimate of what needed to be done, amount of times, and cost. It was complete and fair. A week later, as scheduled, Bryion (SP?) and Jamie (two real assets to the company), two young, strong and competent technicians came to complete the work. They spent the whole day into late evening, completing the plan. They worked tirelessly, really know their stuff, and they were very polite and honoring to a couple of older persons (my wife and myself). They completed to what they needed to do and will return in three days to complete the job. We had a water over issue in our master bath. H2O rep., John Wiggins, was out same day. Courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient, and a great communicator John came the next day also when claims adjuster was here and he answered any questions adjuster had. John represented H20 Away excellently. The remediation team came next for tear out etc. James B and a helper came for a two day project ending with drying fans and dehumidifier. James was an amazing worker who moved quickly and efficently, seemingly never stopped. He would take a moment when necessary to answer any questions had. James also represents H20 Away very, very well. Joshua came today after the dry out time had passed, and was also quick, knowledgeable and very friendly. Adding him to the two mentioned previously and H20 has a trifecta of great team members! Andrew Hagen was the overarching project manager who was great to work with and very communicative. The service requested was to demo/cleanup damage from a leaky water pipe, including removing molded cabinets, trim, sheetrock, flooring, etc. Bryson and James arrived early and did not stop until all was cleaned up and covered (awaiting testing results for asbestos). The quality of the work was excellent. Each step of the process was explained in detail, not only with what was being done, but why it was being done. All flooring was completely covered and to prevent further damage that could have been caused just for the work being done. There was very little dust or debris, even with that, they swept and vacuumed the entire floor and surrounding area to ensure this. In my opinion, James and Bryson are very knowledgeable about their tasks, did a good job, and I am very pleased with the outcome for the work they performed today. A malfunctioning PEX fitting caused a water leak in an upstairs bathroom. It caused water damage not only to the bathroom but a kitchen wall and laundry room below. H2O was there almost immediately and did all mitigation, cleanup and restoration to where all is just like new. The quality of the H2O staff was well above average, and all technicians, Jacob (sheet rock/texture), Kyle cabinet/trim install, Bryson and James for tear out at the beginning of this project, and others of whom I wasn't paying attention to names at the time. Mat, the project manager did great follow-up and shared information all along the way. I would, and will recommend H2OAway to anyone I come across that needs this type of assistance - and hopefully not, but I would ask for their help again in the future in needed. There were three glitches ... one a sub-contractor that H2O AWAY dealt with immediately and made good by me ... one an employee who had some troubles, and H2O made that good too ... and then there was the lack of payment to H2O from my COA/HOA Board, through no fault of H2O AWAY ... and yet H2O AWAY still did the work and got me back in my house. Our toilet sprang a leak that dripped into our subfloor for a long time before it was visible. The plumbers recommended H2OAway and we are very happy we chose to go with them. Dominic, Josh, and Jameson were all extremely competent and helpful. Not only did they execute their demo and mitigation work efficiently and effectively, but they were clear and communicative throughout about not only how the process would go on their end, but also how best to deal with the insurance (who for their part was making it as difficult as possible). I felt a degree of certainty and stability while talking to H2OAway that was absent in any other part of the entire situation.
