It is a life time roof but things do happen The other day I noticed a tile with a large piece missing. Why we did not have a rain leak is a head scratcher. I called A-1 as they are one of the few roofers who know how to walk on and repair a tile roof. Many make that claim. Most are clueless. They came out the next day and a man named Tom Hall went up and fixed it in minutes, free of charge (a very small job but important one)! He also pointed out, with photos, a number of broken tiles that were in need of repair. I was not surprised. We agreed to have these repairs made and, on the basis it was compeleted before the end of August and the start of the "monsoons". He said he'd work us in between the bigger jobs they had. A day later, he indeed worked us in long before my August dead line. The roof was fixed and is now "tight". The response to the initial repair and the larger repair was much quicker than I anticipated. I also felt condifent in Tom's advice and comments about what needed to be done. No hard sell. Just got it done.

They destroyed my flower bed and all the potted plants around my house there's roofing debris on every plant. my lavender is squished I had to completely take out my Veronica and mums. They broke branches off the tree next to my drive way then shoved the branches back up into the tree as if I wouldn't notice. There was hot Cheetos in my flower bed. They parked on my grass. Even though we parked in the street for them. My whole garage is covered in sawdust and nails my laundry room is in my garage so I have to rewash all that laundry. I was helping a friend out holding some of her kitchen items and now she has to toss all that stuff. And to top it all off it's the next day at 5pm and the owner/manager hasn't shown up yet even though he was contacted this morning.

She was also very helpful in letting me know the area suppliers that they use in case we couldn't find a sample we liked in the showroom. She was super responsive to emails and after my initial measurements I had a quote back same day. Templating/final measurements and install were both scheduled at the same time and the person helping me on that was very friendly. Everything was done in about a month from my initial deposit! The counters look great, the installers were very nice and professional, Travis in the office was a huge help during demo and I'm very pleased with the final outcome. Tops should have been checking the product thoroughly before delivery and installation but instead they blamed everyone else. We have more projects but will never use Tops again. Following the laminate installation, Olympic Door & Trim replaced the interior doors with 6-panel white doors, and all trim was replaced with white trim. It was a 5-day process for our 1400 square foot rambler. The 2 man team was courteous and IMMEDIATELY cleaned up as they moved from one area of the home to the next. All trim materials were cut outside of the home to reduce interior dust. Lynden doors manufactured the pre-painted doors which are a much higher quality than you will see at the box stores.

When asked about it, the crew member stated that he "wanted to try something new" and "didn't want to ask for permission." Huh? They did clean up the rock after I got back in contact with Ryan. Crew told me he would make it look nice, and instead left two gigantic piles of rock in front of my house. Why even bother telling me you'd make it look nice at that point? I will admit it did get a chuckle out of me. It was a mixed bag of an experience for me, but in the end I am happy with the patio and driveway - which is what matters most.

Ryan and all the crew at R & M were ah-mazing. Their work was simply perfect, and this was a tricky…read morejob. We bought our forever home in March and found issues as we got settled in. There was a crushed storm drain pipe under the existing portion of driveway that was causing water back up in heavy rains. R & M had to carefully saw cut and pick out the existing concrete, lay in a new 4" pipe, encase and protect the new pipe in the proper rock and then put in new exposed aggregate concrete to match the existing. PERFECTION! You'd never know it was done except that the original concrete is not nearly as good as the new work. This was an exceptional job. Next ... 203 feet of driveway leading up to the house. The existing gravel driveway with all its country charm was not working for us for several reasons. We did the math on putting in a new asphalt drive with it's maintenance needs over 50 years versus a "one and done" concrete install. Concrete won. OMG ... so beautiful. I've had experience with concrete installs in residential and commercial applications. I know what I'm looking at when I see the work done. This was the best work I've ever seen. Last thought to share. FEED YOUR CONTRACTORS. They really appreciate it. It's really easy to put out sandwiches, chips, and beverages. Have it delivered if you need to. It clearly means so much to the crew and a good break with healthy food fuels a good afternoon's work.
