If you don't believe me, read all other reviews, I didn't and paid price.... I hired them to do mitigation after water damage because nobody was available that day. After each day, I was checking on them and noticed that equipment was turned off (which should be working all night) and noticed bad smell of Marijuana in my house. Then I noticed broken blinds and dent on my new refrigerator. I called owner (Alex Sitnik) who told me don't worry we will take care of it. After 1 week they sent my insurance bill for 27k which my insurance didn't want to pay, because they overcharged. (They paid 23k) Then I started getting emails from this company asking to pay difference or they will put me on collection, I called Alex Sitnik and he said don't worry, it's just strategy to scare insurance. After a few months I got the same emails again, called Alex and no answer, a few weeks later I got call from collection.... Alex blocked me, My friend who new him called him and he blocked him as well. I Paid $3,500 to collection and never heard from Alex Sitnik again, please don't make my mistake!!!! read more

STAY AWAY THIS COMPANY! Please trust me here! I hired them to do water mitigation project. They came to my house they told me they would directly billed my insurance. After they finished the project, they charge very high amount for my insurance. My insurance refused to pay the whole amount. Then they send you to debit collection. This is not only happen to me, please see others comments from Yelp. I don't know why this company still exist today? We should sue them to shut down this business. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I know when flooding happens it's overwhelming but they are simply taking from hardworking people . Unfortunately my wife and I have had our previous home that was 900sqf in California flood and that was about 4000 dollars for labor and equipment which was used for about 3 weeks and now one of our restroom floods which is maybe 100 to 200 square feet and with labor and about 4 days let's call it 1 week with equipment they want 8000 dollars . It looks like this is an on going issue where they say that the insurance company simply don't know what they are talking about according to this company . Please read the reviews! This company is a fraud. I would like to support them due to the fact that they are a transgender- owned business but unfortunately they are not good. Took my money and did not complete the work. Actually left my house with more damage than when they showed up, then they continually dodged my phone calls. The only positive was when the owner Alex would show up one day in a dress using she/her pronouns then the next day totally gender neutral using they/them. Truth is, the reviews that are already posted are more then true. This company was AWFUL to work with! The water control guys that initially come out specifically Konan was super cool. But I'd be embarrassed to work for such an awful company. The customer service sucks. They apparently couldn't get ahold of our insurance and at the time we had State Farm. On Christmas Eve my husband and I received a notice for them to put a lien on our house when we were in the middle of selling our house. We never got a phone call to straighten everything out or a bill in the mail before they placed this. Then after the holidays when I could finally get in touch with them and my insurance the guy was a straight jerk to put it lightly and wouldn't take the lien off even though he just got paid. Apparently the person that originally was handling our payment with our insurance quit or got fired and they completely dropped the ball. This company has horrible customer service and we really wish we would have listened to the reviews but it was 10 at night and we had water damage so we were in a tough spot. Also their contractor they go through for repairs is rude too. They took forever to get us scheduled and my father is a dry waller so we had him do some serious spots while we were waiting and once they got there they threw a fit and wouldn't even touch it since it had been worked on some. Read the bad reviews, they are accurate and I wish I had before engaging this company. I had a pipe burst during the snow storm and needed equipment to dry my wall urgently so got these guys with an online search. First, they appear friendly and nice, and tell you there is no charge to the equipment if there is no repair needed (they then said the person who told us that is no longer there). We got $2,500 invoice after being told 3 times that there would be no charge. Second, they charged us monitoring fees on rental equipment, what for? So insurance can pay them. Rent the equipment you need at Home Depot instead of with them! Did I mention they charged $100/day to rent a fan that costs the same amount? Third, when we got an invoice and called to clarify, the owner was a rude ass and said he'd lien our house for the invoice of $2,500 if not paid. Fourth, during the period we had the machines installed they had terrible communication, said they would call and wouldn't, etc. Companies like this should not exist. We have the means to pay this or go through insurance, but I'm sure they do this to people who can't afford it and it's a SHAME and a SCAM. Washington Restorer - Damage Restoration Near Me - Fife, Washington

How do I leave zero stars? Hired this company to clean up a sewage spill from a broken drain line under our house... Their tech left the "protective" film on our carpet over a 4 day weekend, telling us it was ok to walk on. When they returned to claim the machines left under the house to dry it out, and remove the film. The film left a sticky residue.  The tech tells me "Your insurance company will take care of it." This is something Washington Restorer caused, and did end up paying for a professional carpet cleaning company making two trips out, to get it off. That's just where the dishonesty began. And now it really gets good... Over a month later I had another company give me an estimate on re-insulating my heating system. They discovered the damage, (see attached photo) Whether the damage was caused by W.R. or not, is unknown and irrelevant. They not only KNEW ABOUT IT, but never told me about it either. So I had been heating my crawlspace since they where under my house. I was inform the tech didn't say anything to me about it, because he was afraid I would... "blame him for doing it". After several talks with them they agreed to give me a discount, and mailed me a check.  It arrived, but wasn't for the agreed amount. Another call... Another check mailed to make up the difference... I deposited the two checks, and they both  BOUNCED!!! (NSF) You make up your own mind whether this company will clean up a mess for you, or just take you to the cleaners... This company is a SCAM. Worst experience ever. Washington Restorer deserves a negative review. There was a water leak at my house, hired Washington Restorer (wish I had seen the other reviews first!). They left some fans and cut several holes in my walls and ceiling. They they went MIA for several weeks, avoided all my calls. Alex over billed my insurance company for services they they did not provide (mold test? never happened! kitchen and living room work? nope, the leak was in one bedroom only). Alex's fraud will catch up with him eventually. I am surprised this company is still in business, they are the WORST. I ended up having to hire another company to fix all the damage caused by Washington Restorer. read more

I'm in the process of reporting them to the better business bureau and to my insurance company. I had a leak and I called them for an estimate but didn't like how much they are charging. They kept insisting to charge the full amount because the insurance will cover it. I felt like the work was unnecessary and I don't want to be involve in an insurance scam. So I refused for them to continue on the work. However, they still charge me $1400 for an estimate of job I clearly refused. No work was done but they insist that the estimate cost $1400. When the toilet in our guest bath leaked, our plumber referred us to Washington Restorer to diagnose the damage and replace the tile and baseboards. The water damage mitigation went well, but when it came time to rebuild their estimate was unreasonably high. Our insurance adjuster spent several weeks trying to get his questions about the estimate answered with no response, and we eventually had to start over with another company. For the mitigation, or water damage tech arrived on time, and was friendly and helpful. She was able to answer all of our questions, and helped us choose between a few options for mitigating the damage. She even helped us understand how the insurance claim process would work. Alex came out a few days later to give us an estimate for replacing the tile and baseboards. When we went over his estimate with our insurance contractor, we realized that it included a lot of charges that didn't make sense. Our insurance was initially offering around $1,500 to cover the rebuild costs, but Alex's estimate was for more than $5,800 to replace the tile in a small guest bath. It included charges for services they wouldn't be performing, like replacing the toilet (we hired another plumber for that), and pouring concrete (we already have concrete under our tile). Many of the details, like the square footing for the room, were incorrect. All of this could have been a misunderstanding, but after several weeks of calling we were never able to get Alex to talk to our insurance adjuster. My adjuster and I both called their office several times and spoke with their claims manager, but Alex never replied to our emails or called back. Their claims manager eventually said she would update the estimate herself, but after a week she hadn't called me back either. We eventually got an estimate from another restoration company, who quoted us a price less than half of what Alex had estimated. Overall, I couldn't recommend this company to anyone, even though we had a good experience during the mitigation. read more

When confronted about their text around 8:50 am stating they were 30 min away, on a day they billed us from 8:15 on, they changed their story from claiming the "tracking device" placed people "on site" to saying they charge when their crew leaves the shop. Had we been informed we would be paying for "work" during their sometimes 2.5 commute one way (from Fife to W Sea-how it took 2.5 hours is unclear), we would have not agreed to this. But, when confronted about their billing, their pat reply is to threaten to put a lien on the house. read more

They originally said they were going to charge $1700, but that it would be much lower when they left as they did not move around anything and left most of the wet carpet and pad there. Our fridge starting gushing water in our upstairs kitchen damaging floors and drywall. We were referred to Washington Restorer who sent Michelle out to help with water mitigation and drying. Michelle was totally on top of it and super helpful. She came out everyday (even Superbowl Sunday) to work on the issue until the house was dry. She even helped us navigate filing our first home owner's insurance claim. Really glad we got Michelle and Washington Restorer to help us with this issue! read more

This is a great company! My house's water heater broke and flooded the downstairs bedroom and crawlspace underneath the house. We had to act quickly to prevent further damage. We were recommended this company by the plumbing company that fixed our home and it was one of the best decisions we made! We consulted with Alex and he came and assessed our home, explained the process and helped us set up our claim with insurance. He was very kind, efficient and helpful. Him and his team dried the downstairs room and crawlspace then tore down all the damaged material and installed new materials. That includes new insulation, new carpeting, the dry wall, etc. This entire ordeal took some time because the insurance company had to process the claim and everything first but Alex and his team made sure that our house was dry and patiently waited for the payment from insurance. I was very thankful for that. Our home now looks like new, there's no longer a mold-like smell and we feel reassured that our home is as good as new. He even helped fix our door that wouldn't close shut all the way! My mom and I felt very blessed to have Alex and the team help us! Special shoutout also goes to Andrey. He was the one who dried the house and took away all the gross moldy stuff out. This was hard labor! We weren't home most of the time and he used a special lock with our key in it to enter our home and fix it when we were away. He did such a good job and was very respectful of our home. We have a security camera facing the front of our house and it showed that he pulled our garbage can from the street to our house when we couldn't. Very kind and thoughtful. read more

After my home flooded due to a burst pipe, Washington Restorer, LLC, was recommended to me by the plumber who fixed the leak. They arrived within an hour of my initial call to them. Marco and Michelle handled my dryout process. They were extremely professional, helpful, and knowledgeable and completed the dryout wonderfully. I then entered a battle to do the repairs with my Homeowners Insurance Company. Maggie, Alex, and Vlad went to bat for us and communicated directly with the Insurance Company in an epic negotiation to get the funds needed to complete the needed repairs. Once the repairs began, my Project Manager, Vlad Abankin, has been a Godsend. He listened to all of my concerns, answered every phone call and question that I had, and followed through on what he promised. He went far above and beyond my expectations to remove the stress of construction from me. He worked around our schedules and met with us after hours and on weekends to move our house toward being restored to its pre-accident condition. We are in the final stage of the repair work and our house is looking better than it did before the water damage and I feel I owe that to Vlad. When he says he only wants to make us happy with the results, he truly means it. Thanks especially to Vlad Abankin and all of the Washington Restorer Team, we are going to be able to put one of the worst events behind us and move on to enjoy our beautiful home once again.
