I decided to send him a message to see if there was a company he would recommend to me. He actually responded immediately and said that he'd be able to squeeze me in! You have no idea how grateful I was to hear that. He gave me two time options, and called me when he was on the way. I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job. They just pretended like it was totally normal ( maybe it is?) and carried on. They were extremely kind, and it didn't phase them. I just got myself together, and we finished on time. The estimate was what they said it would be. Separate company is doing the restoration work. But 24/7 explained my options to me so it was understandable. They left bags of garbage in my crawl space. The contractor I hired to finish the job found their used tyvek suits in the crawl space as well. 3. They didn't actually remove the mold where it was agreed upon. 4. They left rotten wood in the floor and wall. When I asked about it they said it was just "wood stains" but the wood was wet and crumbled when touched. It wasn't stains. 5. I had standing water in my crawl space and they didn't bring it up to mitigate. I would have added to their work order and given them more business, but they failed to mention that it needed to be drained and how bad it was. 6. They don't offer restoration services like their website claims. They will leave holes in the wall and floor/crawl space. Rats came into my home from the openings that they didn't cover. 7. I had to hire another company to fix their work and finish the job. I will never hire Restorx again.
