TLDR: do not hire for anything other than spot repairs for leaking roofs. So we hired this company to repair a leak coming down in our garage. Sales person came out for review to make an assessment on what would be involved. In the conversation they offered to clean the roof, I told them there's a lot of moss up there and they said they could easily do that. Oh they cleaned something, just not the whole roof. They got the entire north side of my house covered in caked on globs of dirt. This included everything around there like my A/C exterior fan unit, my trash bins, my shed, my storage lockers and my deck boxes. They left a hose, my hose, on the roof and running all night long until my wife spotted it the next morning. My front hose was also used, I know this because instant of rolling it back up using the roll they just left it all piled up at the corner of my house. Now told them about this, and the person who responds just always says they'll get in touch with their "experts" and let me know. Eventually they came back to finish cleaning the roof and clean up the mess on the side of the house. They came and went then I got home and checked, looked like they took about two seconds to clean some of the side but ran off to their next project. It was in no way clean or even in the condition it was in prior to their work. As for the roof being cleaned and moss control applied, I can't get all the way up on the 2nd floor roof to know but my HVAC company came out to do some other work related to "Smokey cedar smell in air ducts, & they climbed up to the 2x!: floor and took photos. There was no moss control applied on the 2nd floor roof and miss was growing everywhere on the west back side, yes this was the very next day after M&H came. Cleaning and moss control were services we agreed M&H would do.m, but they clearly didn't yet still charged me for it. Oh and that donkey cedar smell? Sawdust in the HVAC exhaust line from roof & vent repairs. So basically the roofing company offered a series of services they never fully executed. I had to hire a different company to complete the gutter work and re-clean the lower & upper roofs and apply moss control up on the 2nd roof. Then I had to clean out my HVAC vents, and I had to wash and scrub the exterior of my house. How are they still in business is beyond me. read more

I used this company to fixed my roof a few months ago. They did something /damaged to my roof in a different areas. I called them no responses back. I had high hopes for this company since they showed up quickly (they happened to be working around the corner). A tree branch had fallen through my roof, and I was first quoted $3,600 by Avi. After showing him a competitor's quote for $1,200 (from a company with fewer but still positive reviews), he dropped the price to $2,000. I signed the paperwork and put down a $200 deposit around 11AM, as the competitor didn't have same-day availability. Avi assured me they would return between 5-6PM to tarp the roof so I wouldn't have any leaks. They never showed up. I called at 7PM and was told it "wasn't going to rain" -- even though it was literally raining and I had buckets inside catching the water. I called ten times total and spoke to Mona three of those times, and every time she'd disappear for 30-45 minutes before calling back with nothing useful. For hours, I was left hanging while water poured through my roof -- absolutely ridiculous. On top of that, they stopped answering their phone and even ignored my Yelp messages, which made the whole situation even more infuriating. By 9:30PM I was done waiting. I told them to cancel my contract and refund my deposit. A company's true character shows after they've taken your money -- and M&H Roofing completely failed that test. Poor communication, broken promises, and zero accountability. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

From the moment Jonathan Levine showed up at the house, supposedly waiting for a side partner who never showed not sure why they need two people for an estimate?? he has his notepad in hand, but unfortunately can't get Wi-Fi and then ask for my password which I said no way!! he didn't appear to have that much knowledge considering he told me a two years. We already knew what product we wanted.GAF timberline.. also needed one new 2 x 4 skylight. He was done in 20 minutes. I got the appraisal in within an hour, which was great but for 44 squares.$43K was a little extreme!! it wasn't my first estimate so obviously I told him to take a hike! read more

Very nice folks to talk to during the initial call and on-site consultation, but unfortunately we ended up being ghosted by this contractor. They stopped responding after promising to send a quote for the work. I'd recommend having another contractor or two lined up before reaching out, just in case. read more

They were supposed to be at my house to give me a quote around 3:30. The guy showed up after 6:00!! Don't even think about them because other roofers told me stories about them. LOOK AT THEIR REPLY(LIE!) Now they tell all of you that I was never on their schedule. Below is the reply they sent to me on Yelp so they are lying to all of you!!! The most ridiculous part is he came back to my house with a bottle of wine about this review I wrote about them! I'm actually a really nice person and hope this doesn't continue. "My name is Mona from M&H Roofing Services. Our company offers a FREE inspection + estimate. Please respond with the date & time and a confirmation of the address for our schedule. I was dealing with a roof leak and found that not many companies are willing to do small repairs, most prefer to replace the entire roof or only offer repairs to previous customers. This company stood out by responding quickly and sending someone out for an estimate the very next day. While they were ready to handle the repair right away, I decided to get a few other quotes first. In the end, I chose them because of their responsiveness and professionalism. I asked for before-and-after photos, and they provided them without hesitation. It's been a few weeks since the repair, and so far, no leaks. Their pricing was competitive, and based on this experience, I would definitely choose them again in the future. read more

[I previously wrote a review here. But since then M&H (the company) has been working with me closely on fixes and resolutions. With the current fix, it would take 1 month to see lasting effects. Let me take a look in a month to see how things turn out to be.] But one good thing to call out - they are responsive, though sometimes I suppose when it's busy you'd need to page them a couple of times. read more

MNH was very responsive initially and immediately sent a crew out for repairs following their inspection. The work was completed quickly, and I assume correctly since it's on the roof and I'm not comfortable checking up close. I highly recommend M&H. They were responsive, came to my house and gave an estimate on the same day. I shopped around and got other quotes, they gave me the best price, and couldn't get better with others even after sharing their quote. What I value the most, is that they were the only ones who didn't try to sell me a whole new roof saying while others were trying to scare me. read more

I have posted an initial review that I need to adjust (Yelp won't let me pull it entirely). There was some miscommunication that made me feel disappointed. M&H was easy and efficient to deal with. Roof went on in one day. Friendly communication.

**5 stars** I can't say enough good things about M & H Roofing--their customer service is absolutely over the top and truly exceptional! During a major storm when my roof needed urgent attention, Mona responded to my request immediately and project manager Avi arrived at my home within an hour. He was professional, thorough, and provided a fair, straightforward quote right away. Just a few hours later, Edgar and his amazing crew showed up and completed the entire job that same day, working efficiently and with incredible care. Communication was outstanding, and they went far above and beyond what I ever expected, making a stressful situation so much easier. I needed my roof cleaned and moss removed, and some patch work for damaged shingles. Avi inspected and gave me a reasonable quote of $1450. The team came the following week and found 2 spots around vent pipes that had been unprofessionally repaired by previous owners. They quickly repaired and installed new flashing for only an additional $250 per. My roof is so clean now it almost sparkles! Thanks very much and I highly recommend them! read more

Our roof started leaking during heavy rain, and M&H Roofing came out quickly to inspect. We recently purchased a new home and noticed discoloration in the attic plywood along with visible moss on the roof. To address our concerns, we reached out to multiple inspectors--seven or eight in total--all of whom came well-reviewed on Google and Yelp. However, none of them identified a critical issue that Avi, the owner of MNH Roofing, immediately discovered. During his inspection, Avi recorded a video showing how easily he could lift the shingles, revealing soft and rotten plywood underneath. He clearly explained that the deterioration was causing loose nails, likely contributing to the mold issue in our attic. His expertise stood out compared to all the other inspectors who had missed this major problem. Beyond his experience, Avi impressed us with his honesty and integrity. While other inspectors pushed for a full roof replacement as the only option, Avi provided a more flexible solution--a targeted patch repair that could extend the life of our roof for about five more years. He offered a reasonable, cost-effective approach rather than upselling unnecessary work. Ultimately, since we were moving into the home and wanted peace of mind, we opted for a full roof replacement. We compared quotes, and Avi's pricing was highly competitive while also offering a fast turnaround. With a snowstorm in the forecast, timing was critical. Avi and his team delivered as promised, completing the full roof replacement in just two days--right before the storm hit. One thing I truly appreciated about Avi was his transparency. During the replacement process, some plywood needed to be replaced per the shingle company inspector's requirements. Instead of making assumptions, Avi took pictures and shared clear evidence of the damaged plywood, keeping me fully informed throughout the project. His open communication ensured I was always in sync with the work being done. The quality of MNH Roofing's work speaks for itself. After the project was completed, I brought in an attic inspector for a separate estimate. Without any prior context about the roof replacement, the inspector praised the craftsmanship, particularly highlighting the ridge vent installation, which maximized attic ventilation. When the snowstorm arrived, our new roof was put to the test--and it performed flawlessly. I absolutely love my new roof, and I'm incredibly grateful to Avi and his team. If you're looking for a roofing contractor you can trust, MNH Roofing is the way to go. And when my roof is due for another replacement--50 years from now--I know exactly who I'll be calling! read more

On a scale of 1-10, we give this company an 11, based on the outstanding results and incredible value they delivered. This was an incredibly challenging project. We have a very steeply pitched metal roof on a two-story home with skylights and a turret. We hired M&H to remove many years of mold off our roof, clear and clean all the rain gutters and reseal our skylights. They responded very quickly to my bid request, and within the same day performed a physical onsite roof inspection, rather than just generating an estimate based on a Google Earth photo like so many of their competitors. We are seniors on a fixed income and this is a major expense for us. We solicited quotes from several reputable and highly rated roof cleaning companies. M&H provided us with an extremely competitive bid. Avi committed to a firm, fixed price upfront. All the other bids I received were subject to additional charges during the cleaning, based on how much of the skylights required resealing. M&H included a complete resealing of both skylights and the application of a mold retardant as part of the total project. They included this preventative, cost-saving measure without adding a separate additional charge. What truly sets this company apart from its competitors is their commitment to excellence. The before and after photos speak for themselves. It is like we have a brand-new roof. Their pride of their workmanship really shines through in the final results. The team arrived right on schedule. Each team member worked diligently and with precision until the job was finally completed, approximately 10 hours later. Their cleanup was absolutely pristine. Avi, Mona, and their entire team were truly an absolute joy to work with. Very client focused, incredibly responsive and accommodating, and each person totally dedicated to ensuring our highest satisfaction. We are very grateful we selected this company for our roofing project They have a great crew because they treat their workers right. We could not have hoped for a better outcome on this project and are extremely pleased with the results. M&H has truly earned our very highest recommendation. You will not go wrong hiring them for your roofing project. read more

Not reliable. Based on good reviews, I contacted this company. Avi came out and provided within minutes by email an estimate via a document for signature. I asked about a chimney sweep and he gave me a price. I chose to move forward with him and he said he'd send me a new quote "later today" (Tuesday) as he wanted to do the work Thursday or Friday (2 or 3 days later). By Thursday, the day he was to begin work (potentially), I still hadn't received a new estimate. I reached back out. His response was: "Hi I forgot about it Which quote do you need". Although I found his response unprofessional, I proceeded to summarize all that we discussed. He came back with a price quote by text message (not by document for signature, which was what I expected) starting with "The best I'll be able to do..." I noted that the estimate was higher than what we discussed. When I questioned him, he ended up responding that it included tax, yet the numbers did not add up as tax would bring the total higher than his quote. In addition, in my experience, normally if tax is included, it is presented upfront as it is a benefit to the customer. He explained the discrepancy by saying it is a small discount he gave me. However, I still decided to move forward despite my misgivings and let Avi know pricing was fine, but to please break down the costs for each service, including that tax is included. I never heard back from him. I have since used a different company and the communication was like night and day. Incidentally, the repair Avi pointed out and was almost as expensive as the roof cleaning itself, was done at no charge by the other company as it was merely roof flashing (I think) that needed to be simply re-secured. I do not recommend this company. read more

What a great team! Avi and his team use the highest quality materials and work with integrity. We could not be more impressed with our new roof. They also replaced our gutters and we opted for upgraded leaf screens. We were able to get everything on our wish list for a very competitive price. If you need a new roof, this is the team you are looking for. They will respect your property, communicate well and ensure you are a partner in the process. Mona will take care of all of your scheduling needs and Avi and the team will get your roof ready for winter over a weekend! M&H Roofing made the process of figuring out what to do with my roof in my new (and first) home so easy. Avi was so nice, personable, and honest. He didn't sugar coat what needed to be done but didn't gouge me or try to upsell anything. I really felt comfortable with him doing the work--and he got me a great deal on gutters!! Only reason for four stars is the communication to schedule the work was a bit choppy, but I'll still work with them again because of the quality of their work and integrity of their business! read more
