Today after contacting Sam the owner about the repeated leaks we encountered on our roof, Sam personally came to check it out along with a couple of employees from his company. He was very helpful in assessing the issue and had his workers implement a temporary fix, which he said should alleviate the leak issue. DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. 7 years ago they installed metal roofing on our new construction made with SIPS. Our contractor provided manufacturer installation instructions. Early work began fine and their process was signed off by our contractor. Then multiple crews came through, who apparently did not get the message. A metal roof on top of SIPS SHOULD HAVE LASTED 50 YEARS. NOW we're having to replace our roof at a greater cost than out-of-state college tuition. The new roofers are having to scrape rotted OSB from the foam insulation, completely negating the SIPS warranty and littering the neighborhood with the rotten debris. The analysis is that Forever Roofing (1) installed the Tiger Paw sheeting incorrectly and (2) did not bend the top of the metal panels up under the roof peak, both of which allowed water to enter. FURTHERMORE, after letting water in, they blocked off any egress at the bottom of the roof with wood blocks between the staves. Eventually water sat in there for years until the soffits started popping off. One of the Forever Roofing managers came by to take a look at the damage and essentially washed his hands of the business - no integrity for workmanship. RUN AWAY. read more

A roof is one of the more stressful home improvement experiences you can have. It protects your investment, there are many service providers to choose from and it is expensive. Making the right choice without over-spending, and not getting sub-standard results, is a little scary. I needed to move fast, but I knew I had to get at least three estimates. The first to quote was a company that is on the TV/radio. They quoted the highest price, overlooked the need for sheeting on half my roof (missed the shiplap) and spent more time talking about the evils of smaller companies than selling their own company....pass. The second company was a highly rated company, sold themselves well, but also missed the shiplap and the estimate was almost the same as the first, though with more upgrades; I kept them in mind. The third estimate was Forever Roofing, and you know by now who I went with. Sam contacted me shortly after I reached out to them and he was out to estimate my roof within 48hrs. He quickly called out the same issues the other companies did, but also caught the need for new sheeting (about 10 roof squares). Thanks to this I knew he was going to give me a more accurate estimate. They came in about 15% lower, so we talked about the estimate differences and it comes down to overhead. For example, they don't have PCs in the company cars, aren't using satellite software to create a fancy quote and aren't paying for TV/radio spots; that savings is passed on to the customer. I agreed to go with them and was put on the schedule. Two weeks later it was time to get started! His husband and wife crew knocked out 33.5 roofing squares in about 3.5 days (house and a big detached garage). They timed it perfectly between weather systems and Sam was quite communicative about when they'd be there and what they'd be working on so I didn't have to worry about scheduling. The roofing duo was very polite and efficient. Their work lined up with what we agreed upon in the contract and what I had read during my roofing research. The lower price wasn't resulting in a lower quality product, so I knew I had made the right choice. Bonus; what I was quoted is exactly what I paid, as there were no surprises or missed details. Our ceiling starting leaking around December after a lot of heavy rain. I called a handful of roofing companies and Sam was able to come in quickly, assess the issue and offered a competitive estimate. He was also able to schedule me in pretty quickly once the weather was dry. His team was able to complete the work in two days. There was some mix up in communication, especially since I wasn't dealing with Sam for some of the coordination (material drop off, dump trailer parking, etc), which is why I'm giving them 4 stars. We had a very dry summer in 2020, with almost no rain. So when we had our first September downpour, our ceiling started leaking. I called many roofing companies and they are all booked solid for at least two weeks. That's when Sam came to the rescue. We requested three competive bids from three local area roofers. Each one noticed different issues with our roof. Forever Roofing was the first one we called as we had seen their work on a large church in our neighborhood. After the 2nd & 3rd roofers bids, we again called Sam at Forever Roofing and asked him about issues brought up by the other roofers. Sam addressed those issues and we decided to accept his bid. The work started within 10 days and took a total of not quite 4 days. Antinio and his crew worked from 8:00AM until at least 7:00 PM. At one point, we had a couple of concerns and called Sam who was back to our house and immediately addressed those concerns. All-in-all we are very pleased with the work completed that included all old plywood being removed, new roofing and gutters and downspouts being replaced. A few nails were found after the crew did their final cleanup but we are still pleased by the work. A note: One roofing company rep did give us a competetive bid. However, the rep also told us all of the "evils" of his competitors. Had a leak in my roof and a gentleman, who's name I am forgetting, inspected my roof and found that one of the vents wasn't covered with chaulk correctly. Instead of quoting me for an expensive repair, he gave me the chaulk and, showed me where it needed to be applied all for FREE. They could have told me anything because I am far from an expert with home repairs, but instead provided a simple, free solution. I called Forever roofing back 4 years after they installed my roof because one of the rooms developed mold smell in the past few months and I suspected a roof leak. No stains on the ceiling and no obvious source for the smell. Even though I could not pinpoint roof being an issue, Sam sent his crew to check. They inspected my attic and the roof very carefully and found no leaks and no mold. They took pictures inside the attic and did everything possible to find the cause. We haven't found the issue yet but at this point I no longer think the roof is the cause. I very much appreciated that they took on my problem to help me, charged nothing for the inspection. Sam was very grumpy and impatient since initial contact and during the entire scheduling process. He mumbled at times, so it was hard to hear what he was asking me, I was able to answer him by partially repeating the question (if he doesn't say no), then I'd give my answer. In return, when he asked me questions, I would try to reply clearly and slowly, but if he wanted a repeat, he would annoyingly say one of the words I said and keep repeating it until I realize which part he was trying to write down. Talking to him was like walking on glass. I was given two days to choose from and that he would call within 10 min if he shows up at the door. From the gist of it, it sounds like I would need to waste at least half a day at home (on a work day) to get the chance of him deciding whether he would show up and do an inspection. Due to the uncertainty of him appearing at the house, I decided not to go with him (I also said this), he sighed and changed his tone a bit and asked how about another day. I firmly told him that I cannot just wait around for half a day hoping he would show (and deal with this attitude), and he sarcastically said "well, if you think you REALLY don't need me," (with an emphasis on the word "really) and hung up immediately without even saying bye. -- Update: The following week, he called early morning saying he was almost to my house. Me: ??? I confirmed with him that we never made an appointment, so I don't know why he was showing up to my house. There was a pause and he said "so you don't want me to come over?" Me again: ??? I said no again and he hung up. I know he requested my address to check that I was in his servicing area during the call, but I did not appreciating him deciding for me who I am hiring. How are the reviews on here so different from the actual company? For me, only the older reviews seem to hold true. read more

My mother had a leak on her roof and we had to search for roof repair companies that were readily available to fix her leaky roof as water was already puddling on top of her ceiling and this had to be taken care of immediately. To our amazement Sam told us that his crew was already handy the following day. His technician, Edward came over on the appointed time and assessed the damage and told us what he was certain to be the issue with the leak. He told us that it most certainly could be the box vent after checking the attic and he was polite and honest. He also gave my mother a discounted estimate right away as he knew my mother to be a senior citizen. After agreeing on the contract on a Friday, Edward told us that repair men would come on a Monday as they were already booked and might be able to have men squeeze us in. We got a call that same Friday night and Edward told us that they will be able to fix it the following day as he was sympathetic to my mom's needs as rain was in the forecast the following day and he did not want my mother to suffer any further. This company's repair men did come the following day and did an excellent job and told us that they were sure how the problem with the roof came about. It indeed was the broken box vent that was damaged and needed to be replaced. The guys were amazing in getting it replaced and they also checked if there could have been other factors that may have caused it. They were nice and very professional. Purchased a new home a few years ago and have since had problems with leaks from the asphalt shingle roof installed by Forever Roofing. Forever Roofing came out and tried to patch repair their leaks twice to no avail. After consulting with many roofing contractors, it is clear that the roof pitch (1.5) was not even close to steep enough to warrant a shingle roof.
