They also removed and replaced siding on the wrong portion of the house, which was not part of the agreement. The siding that was installed differed from what we had discussed over email, and we repeatedly had to contact them to send workers back to finish items listed in the contract that were left incomplete after the job was marked as finished. The workmanship and communication were poor, and the experience was far from what we expected based on their initial estimate and representations. Our "custom chimney cap" has been laughed at when we have shown images to our coworkers and family. It has visible hammer marks, bent and uneven metal, and is far from what we were expecting. We tried to resolve our concerns directly and through continued communication, but the issues remain unresolved.

Communication: As a business owner, when you are having a consistent issue with a job, the onus is on you to deal with it. Not once did you come to inspect the problems that we were addressing in person despite being located less than 30 minutes away. Additionally not responding to numerous emails outlining our valid concerns but choosing to immediately respond to a negative google review, displays the priorities of the company. Lastly, when your workers replace siding on the wrong portion of the house that was not included in the contract, try to not to defend your self as "doing us a favor". If you were truly doing us a favor, you would have 1) communicated there was additional damage that was not identified on the initial inspection, and that you planned on fixing it. 2) responded to our communication in a timely manner asking why they were replacing the siding on the house. Craftsmanship. The pictures I have included in the photos section speak for themselves. The chimney cap is not Sealed, as was specified in the contract, and the "custom steeple cap" is honestly an embarrassment. Overall if I could give this company a negative review I would. I forgot to mention one thing. If you as a customer are waiting to make final payment on a project until a response to your concerns are addressed, you can rest assured that he will avoid all communications outside of a google review, but then threaten a lien on your house the day after you place it on the market.

Excellent work on installing new decking. 8 months to get…read morefully painted, get the touch ups done and 3 times having to spray the paint because they subbed out the job to an inferior company who banged their ladders against my upper story windows and left trash everywhere. It took another 2 months - 10 months total to get my front door painted because it was November when they started so they didn't paint my door until June. Additionally, they approved a trade for one of their deck installers to take my generator and 7 gas cans - all new and unused, in trade for providing and installing metal flashing under my hardy plank. The guy came two partial days - taking all $2000 worth of generator etc, and has refused to return for a year. I have have had to go to small claims court and make a police report because Tony and all employees refuse to assist with either the work or the return of new or payment.

Finally, after two weeks' worth of several back n' fourth calls and rescheduling appointments, Shane from Chet's finally made it out to my house. Showed up without the drywall guy Alex though (who said he didn't have the appt. on his schedule) so I called the office and was told Alex would come out the next day. He did show, after I called the office AGAIN, and was over 30 min. late. That was on Nov 13. Since then, the KCHRP rep I'm working with and I have been GHOSTED and we never received any estimates for the work that would be done. All of that time spent for NOTHING.
